Nayanthara Joins Balakrishna’s Epic #NBK111 Directed by Gopichand Malineni

Share

If industry buzz is anything to go by, Nayanthara is all set to join forces with Nandamuri Balakrishna for his next big venture, #NBK111, directed by Gopichand Malineni.

The much-anticipated project, which was officially announced on Balakrishna’s birthday earlier this year, is said to be a historical epic. According to sources, the film’s grand launch and pooja ceremony — originally planned for October — have now been rescheduled to November.

#NBK111 marks Balakrishna’s second collaboration with blockbuster filmmaker Gopichand Malineni, following their massive success Veera Simha Reddy. The film is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, promising a pan-Indian spectacle mounted on a lavish scale.

Sources reveal that the team is currently on a recce in Rajasthan, scouting picturesque and historically rich locations for the shoot. Interestingly, this will be Gopichand Malineni’s first historical drama, where he plans to blend his signature mass appeal with grandeur and emotion.

With a powerful script that insiders describe as bold, unique, and high on intensity, the film is expected to present Nandamuri Balakrishna in a never-seen-before avatar — delivering a mix of action, emotion, and visual spectacle that promises to captivate audiences nationwide.

Gulshan Devaiah’s Hilarious Take on Bollywood’s Fake Humility

Share

Actor Gulshan Devaiah, who recently impressed audiences with his powerful portrayal of King Kulashekara in Kantara: Chapter 1, is once again grabbing attention — this time for his hilarious and sharp take on Bollywood’s paparazzi culture.

A viral video circulating on social media shows Gulshan playfully mimicking how certain celebrities act overly humble when spotted by photographers. In the clip, he humorously says, “Did you eat? You’ll eat before you leave, right?” and continues, “I’ll bring cake on my birthday so we can cut it together.”

He wraps up his mock act with a cheeky, sarcastic line — “Look how grounded I am,” — followed by a smirk, leaving viewers in splits.

Fans have been showering Gulshan with praise for his witty humor and fearless honesty, appreciating how he called out the pretentious friendliness often seen in the industry.

Rajinikanth–Kamal Haasan Join Hands for Nelson’s Next

Share

South Indian cinema has long been known for crafting grand multi-starrers that bring together some of the biggest names in the industry. Continuing that tradition, a historic collaboration is now on the horizon — superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan are set to share the screen for an upcoming Tamil film.

Initially, it was widely speculated that acclaimed filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj would helm this much-awaited project, marking the reunion of the two legends. However, following the underwhelming response to his recent film Coolie, Lokesh reportedly stepped away from the project to focus on his other commitments.

Now, the latest reports suggest that Nelson Dilip Kumar, who earlier directed Rajinikanth’s blockbuster Jailer, has emerged as the front-runner to direct this dream project. Sources reveal that Nelson has already impressed Rajinikanth during their collaboration on Jailer, which made it easier for him to gain Kamal Haasan’s nod as well. Moreover, the project is backed by Sun TV Pictures, further strengthening the production setup.

If all goes as planned, this film will mark one of the biggest collaborations in the history of Tamil cinema, uniting two stalwarts who have dominated the industry for decades. The real test, however, lies in how Nelson manages to balance the towering screen presence of both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. While Beast didn’t quite live up to expectations, fans are optimistic that Nelson will deliver something truly special with this once-in-a-generation combination.

This time, he not only directs but also plays the lead role, promising a performance packed with intensity and innovation.

Starring Jyothi Poorvaj as the female lead, KILLER also features Vishal Raj, Dasharath, Chandu, and Goutham in pivotal roles. Currently in its final post-production phase, KILLER has already caught the audience’s attention with its intriguing glimpses and visually striking teasers. Combining elements of mythology, science fiction, and superhero fantasy, the film promises a thrilling and emotional cinematic ride.

Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2: Vidya Balan Joins Star Cast

Share

Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated sequels in South cinema, with trade experts and audiences alike expecting it to cross the ₹1000 crore mark in Kollywood. The first installment was a sensational blockbuster, grossing over ₹600 crores worldwide, raising expectations for the follow-up.

The makers are ensuring that the sequel appeals beyond the South Indian market with a star-studded cast. According to reports, Bollywood’s versatile actress Vidya Balan has signed a significant role in Nelson Dilip Kumar’s directional. This will mark her full-fledged Tamil debut; she had previously appeared in a cameo in the 2019 film Nerkonda Paarvai. Vidya first ventured into South cinema with Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ambitious two-part biopic on his father, the legendary NTR.

The 46-year-old actress, known for her performance-oriented roles, will portray Mithun Chakraborty’s elder daughter in the film. Mithun plays the primary antagonist, and Vidya’s character is said to have substantial screen time, with a strong connection to the narrative that drives the story forward.

The film is currently being shot in Chennai and is expected to move into post-production by January. After wrapping the Chennai schedule, the team will shoot the remaining portions in Goa, with a grand release planned for next August.

Apart from Rajinikanth and Vidya, Jailer 2 features Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Mirnaa in key roles, with S. J. Suryah recently joining the cast. The film will also include special appearances by Shiva Rajkumar, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Mithun Chakraborty.

Suriya and Vijay Sethupathi Team Up for New Shiva-Directed Film

Share

Kollywood star Suriya’s recent films Kanguva and Retro failed to impress at the box office, leaving fans disappointed. Kanguva, produced under the Studio Green banner by K.Y. Gnanavel Raja with a massive budget of around ₹250 crore and directed by Shiva, failed to connect with audiences. Following this, Suriya teamed up with Karthik Subbaraj for Retro, which also turned out to be a miss despite Subbaraj having a loyal fan base.

Currently, Suriya is set to release Karuppu with A.R.J., scheduled for the second week of next month. In addition, he is collaborating with Gnanavel Raja on a new production, directed once again by Kanguva director Shiva. The upcoming film will feature the versatile Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Given Vijay Sethupathi’s track record, audiences can expect a strong performance.

However, Vijay Sethupathi’s fans are slightly anxious as he is already working on a project with director Puri Jagannadh, who, though talented, is reportedly not in top form recently. The news of another film with Shiva has sparked curiosity, especially after Vijay Sethupathi’s recent success with Thalaivan Thalaivi. A hit with Shiva would further cement his mass appeal and stamina at the box office.

Audiences are optimistic that Suriya’s collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi will be positive, given Vijay’s excellent story selection skills. Alongside this, Suriya is also working on another project directed by Venky Atluri, in which Mamitha Baiju will play the female lead.

With Shiva, Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, and Gnanavel Raja all coming together, fans are eager to see what kind of cinematic experience this new film will offer.

Salman Khan Faces Backlash Over Balochistan Remarks

Share

Bollywood actor Salman Khan recently stirred controversy on social media with his comments during the Joy Forum 2025 event in Riyadh. While addressing the diverse South Asian communities working in the Middle East, he mentioned, “There are people from Afghanistan, Balochistan, and Pakistan… everyone is working here.”

His remark triggered outrage among social media users from Pakistan, as Balochistan is the country’s largest province and has a long history of unrest and demands for autonomy. It remains unclear whether Salman’s comment was a slip of the tongue or a lack of knowledge, but it certainly drew widespread attention.

Following the incident, several social media posts and Indian media outlets claimed that Salman Khan had been placed under Pakistan’s 4th schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act (1997) for allegedly being an “Azad Balochistan Facilitator.” However, no credible Pakistani media house or government source has verified this claim, and its authenticity remains unconfirmed. Typically, the federal government of Pakistan has the authority to declare a foreign national as a terrorist, making the report highly speculative at this stage.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan continues his professional commitments, hosting Bigg Boss Season 19 and shooting for his upcoming film Battle of Galwan.

Revanth Reddy Strengthens Ties with TDP Leaders Despite Political Rivalry

Share

During his visit to Delhi, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the naming ceremony of Union Minister Rammohan Naidu’s son, highlighting his continued cordial relations with TDP leaders despite political differences.

Having previously worked with the TDP, Revanth maintains personal friendships with several party leaders. While Congress and TDP are not politically aligned, he has managed to keep these personal connections separate from politics — a sentiment reciprocated by TDP leaders.

At the ceremony, Revanth interacted comfortably with numerous Andhra leaders, demonstrating the strong personal rapport he shares across party lines. After his engagements in Delhi, he returned to Hyderabad.

This visit underscores that for Revanth Reddy, political rivalry does not hinder personal relationships, and his bonds with TDP leaders remain strong despite party competition.

Chiranjeevi to Deliver Hat-Trick of Films in 2026

Share

After a gap of over a decade, Megastar Chiranjeevi made a strong comeback and has been consistently working on films since. His re-entry film, Khaidi No. 150, was a massive hit, but the subsequent releases — Acharya and Godfather — didn’t meet expectations. While Valtheru Veerayya performed well at the box office, Bholaa Shankar left fans disappointed. Following this, Chiranjeevi was absent from the silver screen for almost a year.

Vishwambhar was originally slated to release this year. However, due to its heavy reliance on graphics and the need for some re-shoots, the film has been postponed to Summer 2026. Chiranjeevi also seemed to show limited involvement in the project at certain times.

Meanwhile, his focus shifted to Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming film, which kept him fully engaged. Simultaneously, Manam Sankaravara Prasad, produced by the team for Sankranti, is progressing at a brisk pace. In 2026, Chiranjeevi is set to deliver a hat-trick of films.

First up is Manam Sankaravara Prasad for Sankranti. Following that, Vishwambhar is scheduled for a Summer 2026 release. The shooting for Vishwambhar is already complete, with only minor patchwork pending before its release. The film is directed by Mallidi Vashishta Reddy, who impressed audiences with Bimbisara.

Apart from these two, a third film featuring the Chiranjeevi-Babli combination is also in the works, planned for a Dasara release. Following the super success of Valtheru Veerayya, expectations are high for this collaboration. If the film is not ready by Dasara, the makers plan to release it during Diwali.

Even though Chiranjeevi won’t have any releases in 2025, 2026 promises to more than make up for it with a series of back-to-back releases. Another interesting update is that Chiranjeevi will reunite with director Srikant Odela for a new project, which is also set to go on sets in 2026.
