Actor Vijay Deverakonda was honored as a Grand Marshal at the 43rd World’s Largest India Day Parade, organized by the Federation of Indian Associations in New York, USA. He was joined by actress Rashmika Mandanna, who also served as a Grand Marshal for the prestigious event.
Regarded as the biggest Indian celebration outside India, the parade is conducted with the same grandeur and patriotic spirit as India’s Independence Day and Republic Day. This year’s event was graced by the Mayor of New York City, the Indian Consul General, and several other dignitaries.
The parade featured 41 vibrant floats moving along the blocked streets of New York, with Vijay and Rashmika appearing on the very first float to greet the enthusiastic crowd. Held on Madison Avenue, the celebrations embraced the theme “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah” (May All Be Happy) and showcased a spectacular display of culture and unity.
