Wait For Miracle In 2021 In Tamil Nadu – Rajinikanth
In a sensational statement at Chennai airport, Superstar Rajinikanth, who was returning to Chennai from Goa, stated that big miracle and wonder will take place in Tamil Nadu in 2021. Rajini asked everyone to wait and watch the miracle which will happen in 2021 in which Assembly elections are going to be held in Tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth has already confirmed his political entry and starting his political party next year. He had announced that he would pursue spiritual politics.
Rajini was responding to minister D Jayakumar’s comments who had earlier remarked that communal, caste and spiritual politics would never “take off” in Tamil Nadu. Rajini has responded to it and said wait for the miracle to happen in 2021 stating that he has faith on people of Tamil Nadu. He said the people of Tamil Nadu would ensure that miracle to happen.
Responding on forging an alliance with fellow actor Kamal Haasan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) party and who will be the CM candidate among Rajini and Kamal, Rajinikanth said the decision would be taken before elections. “I have to launch my political party first, and there has to be a discussion with my party cadre on who should be the chief ministerial candidate. Decisions like these can be taken only closer to the elections and until then I cannot answer such questions,” said Rajini.
Meanwhile, CM EPS replied to Rajini’s statement. “May be, Rajinikanth is talking about AIADMK’s return to power (after 2021 assembly elections) as the wonder,” CM Edappadi K Palaniswami told media in Tuticorin.
On the whole, Rajini’s statement has heated Tamil Nadu politics.
I Quit Jabardasth Due To Differences: Naga Babu
Naga Babu has finally responded to the speculations and rumours surrounding his exit from Jabardasth program. Confirming that he has quit Jabardasth show, he said he will not appear from Friday’s show on wards. He said he had never thought he would quit the show in the middle and he said he had always thought he would continue in the show till the end of the show. Naga Babu said circumstances have led to his exit.
Recalling his journey of Jabardasth from Feb 2013 to Aug 2019, Naga Babu said it is a long journey and it can be called as odyssey. He said it is more emotional journey and it is close to his heart. Naga Babu clarified that he had never spoken against Jabardasth show and is never behind controversies. He said he won’t gain out of any controversy and said he has responded to put an end to rumours.
Naga Babu admitted that differences have led to his exit. He reasoned that the ideological differences with the organizers of the show related to the business are behind him walking out of the show. However, Naga Babu hasn’t fully revealed the complete reasons. He promised to reveal the reasons for his exit slowly.
He thanked Shyam Prasad Reddy and ETV management for traveling for 7.5 years. Naga Babu said it is a record that a TV show has been consistently successful all these years. “I was in economical crisis before signing Jabardasth. Well, I had my resources then as well. But Jabardasth has been really helpful to me in that situation. Shyam Prasad Reddy is the man behind Jabardasth. He is the one who had got me there. Be it for Adhurs or for Jabardasth, he wanted me as judge. Since I love comedy, I had loved the show and it is the reason for continuing for so long,” said Naga Babu.
Responding to rumours that remuneration was behind his exit, Naga Babu quashed it as rumours. He said that remuneration was never criteria for his resignation. He said they have given him decent pay. “Although the remuneration that is offered to me is not on par with my stature, it is decent. 100 percent remuneration is not the criteria for me stepping down,” said Naga Babu. He said neither remuneration was reason for signing Jabardasth and nor it was reason for his exit.

Citizenship row: TRS MLA moves court
Telangana Rashtra Samithi legislator from Vemulawada Chennamaneni Ramesh, whose Indian citizenship has been cancelled by the Union ministry of home affairs on Wednesday, challenged the move in the high court on Thursday.
Ramesh had filed a fresh petition seeking justice as he had already given up the German citizenship and if India also cancels his citizenship, he would be nowhere.Since he is a responsible MLA, he should be granted the citizenship. The petition is expected to come up for hearing on Friday.Interestingly, hours before he filed the petition challenging the Centre’s order, his political rival in Vemulawada and senior Congress leader Adi Srinivas filed a caveat petition in the high court to prevent Ramesh from moving the court on his Indian citizenship.
Srinivas requested the court to keep him informed if Ramesh challenged the MHA decision. He said Ramesh cheated the government and also the people with his false affidavit.Ramesh had gone to Germany in early ‘90s and obtained German Citizenship in 1993, when he surrendered his Indian passport.In 2008, he returned to India and applied for Indian citizenship which was granted to him by the MHA in 2009. He won the election from Vemulawada assembly constituency in 2009.
As per the Citizenship Act, a person who applies for an Indian citizenship should be present in India at least for 12 months before the date of application.But Srinivas lodged a complaint with the MHA stating that Ramesh still held the German passport and had gone to Germany within this stipulated period of 12 months before being granted Indian citizenship.

YSRC digs out anti-Hindu comments of Naidu!
For the last few weeks, the Opposition parties, particularly the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party are trying to give communal colour to every decision taken by the YSR Congress party government in Andhra Pradesh led by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Whether it was issuance of bus tickets in Tirumala with advertisements related to Christianity, alleged proposal to rename Bhavani Islands as Mary Island, introduction of English medium in government schools and old videos of some Christian missionaries imitating Bhagawad Gita to praise Jesus Christ etc – have been attributed to Jagan.
Despite strong counters by the YSRC leaders and ministers, the TDP and BJP leaders have been able to take their allegations strongly into the people with the support of their media.
On Thursday, the YSRC leaders dug out the videos of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s comments that allegedly hurt the sentiments of the Hindus.
In one video, Naidu was heard saying: “They are claiming that people won’t consume liquor if rates are increased. Similarly, they are denying people of having Tirumala Prasadam by enhancing the room rents and laddu rates.”
It is a clear case of Naidu hurting the sentiments of Hindus by correlating the rates of Tirumala laddu and liquor rates.
“How can increasing the liquor rate be compared to Tirumala Laddu price? It is not only nonsensical, but also blasphemous,” a YSRC leader said.
In another video dating back to the time when Naidu was the chief minister, he was seen attributing the fall in liquor consumption to Ayyappa Deeksha period.
“It is time for Ayyappa Deeksha for 40 days, when one can’t consume alcohol. As a result, consumption of liquor has come down,” Naidu said then, giving an impression that Ayyappa devotees are habituated to liquor consumption when they don’t practise Deeksha.
