Jagan Urged to Spot YSRCP ‘Black Sheep’ Before Criticizing Naidu

Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy recently criticized Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that he works closely with Rahul Gandhi. While this may seem like a significant accusation, what Jagan must understand is that Naidu maintains his influence across multiple parties, including the BJP, Congress, Communist parties, and even, surprisingly, within YSRCP itself. Several core members of Jagan’s party are reportedly aligned with Naidu, showcasing the political acumen of the former Chief Minister—though some may call it controversial.
Naidu’s strategy reflects situational politics. For instance, he once opposed the BJP but later worked diligently to form a coalition with them, ultimately achieving success. Similarly, global figures like Donald Trump demonstrate that political alliances and preferences often shift according to circumstances.
Politics is rarely about mere sternness or moral posturing; it requires strategy, timing, and a keen understanding of the landscape. Before criticizing Naidu’s known connections with other parties, Jagan would do well to first identify the “black sheep” within his own ranks who are cooperating with Naidu.
In politics, as on the global stage, situational strategy often outweighs rigidity. Understanding this is key to staying ahead.
War 2: NTR Shines but Story Falls Short
NTR’s entry into Bollywood generated huge buzz, especially alongside Hrithik Roshan in YRF’s Spy Universe. Despite facing competition from Rajinikanth’s Coolie, expectations were sky-high for War 2. But did NTR’s Bollywood debut hit the mark?
Story:
Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), a top RAW agent, faces the deadly Kali Cartel, a global syndicate determined to halt India’s rise. The plot thickens when it’s revealed that Kabir and Vikram (NTR) share a childhood connection. Who is the true rogue agent, and will the cartel succeed in its mission against the Prime Minister?
Performances:
Hrithik Roshan dominates with his signature charisma, action prowess, and screen presence. NTR delivers solid action moments but is held back by a thinly written role, lacking true heroic highlights. Kiara Advani adds glamour and a few action beats, but her role has minimal impact. Veteran actors like Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana are underutilized, with only one notable scene each.
Technical Aspects:
War 2 impresses visually with high-octane action, lavish production, and cinematography on par with Hollywood spectacles. Mission: Impossible–inspired sequences and exotic locations are major highlights. However, the music is forgettable, and the editing fails to maintain a consistently brisk pace.
Highlights:
- Hrithik vs. NTR showdown
- Stylish action sequences
- Stunning visuals and production
Weaknesses:
- Predictable, formulaic story
- Lackluster screenplay and emotional depth
- Confusing climax
Analysis:
While the original War succeeded by blending Hrithik’s presence with Tiger Shroff’s well-written character, War 2 struggles. NTR’s debut lacks impact due to poor character development, and the repeated hero-villain flip-flops feel contrived. The story’s emotional beats are missing, leaving a visually spectacular but narratively hollow film.
Verdict:
War 2 delivers eye-popping action and star power, but its weak writing and predictable plot make it a missed opportunity for both NTR and YRF. The spectacle impresses, but the storytelling disappoints.
Chiranjeevi Helps Ponnambalam with ₹1 Crore During Crisis

Tamil stunt master and character artist Ponnambalam has often spoken about the support he received from Megastar Chiranjeevi during his difficult times. Recently, the actor has been recovering from a kidney-related illness, and his health now appears fully restored.
During a period of financial struggle, Ponnambalam reached out to Chiranjeevi for help. In a recent interview, he revealed that the superstar extended assistance amounting to nearly one crore rupees—far beyond his initial expectation of just one lakh.
“When I was unwell, I called Chiranjeevi sir hoping for some help. I thought he might give one lakh, but he ended up supporting me with more than one crore,” Ponnambalam shared.
Chiranjeevi is known for his generosity, especially towards members of the film industry. If he holds a good opinion of someone and they are in need, he goes to great lengths to provide support. Even during the COVID crisis, Chiranjeevi extended aid to numerous industry workers, reflecting his compassionate nature.
On the professional front, Chiranjeevi is currently working on the films Vishwambhara and another project with director Anil Ravipudi.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2: Premium Features at a Budget Price

If you’ve spent time in the sub-₹15,000 Android segment, you’ve likely grown accustomed to compromises: dim screens, sluggish processors, and more bloatware than you can handle. The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2, however, feels like a breath of fresh air, bringing features usually found on phones twice its price.
At just 7.55mm thick, the Blaze AMOLED 2 is comfortably the slimmest phone in its category. The Linea pattern on the back adds subtle flair, while the Feather White finish catches the light beautifully without being a fingerprint magnet.
The 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display impresses with deep blacks and vibrant colors. The 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling smooth, while HDR content pops in a way unexpected at a ₹13,499 price point. It’s a screen that makes you want to revisit Netflix and other streaming favourites just to enjoy the visuals.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, paired with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and an additional 6GB of virtual memory, ensures snappy performance. Switching between apps is seamless, and even gaming feels surprisingly capable. Storage comes in at 128GB UFS 3.1, making app installs and file transfers fast, while Android 15 with no bloatware keeps the experience clean and uncluttered.
The 50MP Sony IMX752 main sensor captures crisp daylight shots with natural colors and solid dynamic range. Night shots are impressive for the segment, with noise well controlled. The 8MP front camera handles social media selfies well, producing accurate skin tones, though low-light performance isn’t exceptional.
Battery life is strong thanks to the 5000mAh cell, which easily lasts a day and a half of mixed use. The included 33W charger replenishes the battery in about 75 minutes—not the fastest in the segment, but sufficient to avoid battery anxiety.
Overall, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 delivers a genuinely premium display, solid performance, clean software, and capable cameras. At ₹13,499, it’s a standout choice for anyone seeking a fresh-feeling device without breaking the bank. The device offers a vibrant display, slim and lightweight design, strong performance, clean Android 15 experience, and competitive main camera performance, though charging speed could be faster and the front camera could be sharper in low light.
Australia Expands Accepted English Tests for Visa Applicants

Australia has expanded the list of English language tests accepted for visa applications, giving applicants more flexibility while ensuring consistent scoring across providers. Effective from August 7, 2025, the update increases the number of recognised tests from five to nine. Results from previously accepted tests will remain valid for a limited period, depending on visa eligibility requirements.
The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) explained that the changes are designed to make it easier for applicants to choose a test while maintaining scoring consistency. Most visa categories requiring proof of English proficiency will follow the new rules, although the Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482) will adopt them from September 13, 2025.
The newly accepted tests for exams taken on or after August 7, 2025, include Cambridge C1 Advanced, CELPIP General, IELTS Academic (including One Skill Retake), IELTS General Training (including One Skill Retake), LanguageCert Academic Test, Michigan English Test (including Single Section Retake), Occupational English Test, PTE Academic, and TOEFL iBT.
For tests taken on or before August 6, 2025, under the previous list—including Cambridge C1 Advanced, IELTS, PTE Academic, OET, and TOEFL iBT—results remain valid for certain visa subclasses, with some usable until August 6, 2028.
English proficiency requirements vary depending on the visa type, ranging from Functional to Superior English. Applicants must ensure they meet the required scores for their visa subclass and take tests at secure centres. The DHA does not accept remote or at-home test versions, including CELPIP Online, IELTS Online, LanguageCert Academic Online, MET Digital (at home), OET@Home, and TOEFL iBT Home Edition.
According to the DHA, the expanded list “will help manage immigration risk while ensuring new migrants have the English skills needed to participate fully in Australian life.” By offering multiple test formats and covering various regions, these changes provide candidates worldwide with more options to meet English language requirements.
Tamannaah Shifts Focus to Bollywood

Milky beauty Tamannaah Bhatia has been captivating audiences for nearly two decades. While proving her mettle as an actor, she has also consistently impressed with her glamorous presence. Not just as a lead heroine, Tamannaah has shone in special song sequences as well. In South India, particularly in Telugu cinema, she has built a strong fan base, starting her Telugu career with Sri and maintaining a steady presence ever since.
This year, she returned to Telugu audiences with Odel 2, produced by Sampath Nandi. However, in commercial films, her roles as a lead heroine have been limited. She delivered notable performances in F2 and F3, but at present, chances of pairing with pan-India stars seem rare. Since Odel 2, Tamannaah has not received any major Telugu offers.
Meanwhile, she continues to do well in Bollywood, with two films already on set. Tamannaah is open to exploring not just films but also web series in the Hindi market, keeping her busy and focused. While she may still receive occasional offers in Telugu, she seems intent on giving her full attention to Bollywood for now.
Tamannaah is selective with Telugu roles, preferring parts that suit her perfectly, even if it’s just a special song appearance. Fans would surely celebrate her comeback to Tollywood, but for now, Bollywood continues to provide her opportunities. Regardless of the size of the role, she views any work in Hindi cinema as a career booster. Recently, Tamannaah has been trending more for her dating news than films, but it appears she is ready to shift her full focus back to acting.
Hrithik Roshan Calls Rajinikanth His First Guru Ahead of War 2 vs Coolie Clash

As the much-anticipated films War 2 and Coolie gear up for their box office clash, Hrithik Roshan took to social media with an interesting tweet dedicated to Rajinikanth. In his post, Hrithik referred to the Tamil superstar as one of his first mentors, a gesture that has quickly become a hot topic online.
The tweet read, “I took my first steps as an actor alongside you. Rajinikanth sir, you are one of my first gurus. I have drawn immense inspiration from you. Congratulations on completing 50 years in the industry.” Hrithik’s words have special significance, as he appeared as a child artist in Rajinikanth’s film Bhaagavan Dada, making the actor his first cinematic guide.
With both War 2 and Coolie set to release in just a few hours, the box office is buzzing with excitement. Advance bookings for the two films are already impressive, and fans are eagerly awaiting the showdown. Both films, releasing on August 14 and targeting the Independence Day weekend, feature star-studded casts and high expectations for strong audience reception.
Hrithik’s tweet also gives fans a glimpse of his respectful and humble approach toward fellow actors, earning praise and going viral among fans. As for the movies, the excitement around their box office performance is at an all-time high, with audiences and fans speculating which film will dominate. The clash between War 2 and Coolie is shaping up to be one of the most thrilling cinematic battles of the year.
War 2 Day-One Collection Outlook

With just hours remaining for the release of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2, anticipation is high, though it hasn’t reached the heights many had initially predicted. Once seen as a potential candidate to become Bollywood’s first ₹100 crore net opener, the film now appears unlikely to hit that milestone. Still, it is expected to achieve the highest day-one total in the YRF Spy Universe.
The pairing of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR had all the ingredients for a blockbuster. NTR’s post-RRR stardom, particularly in the Telugu states, remains unmatched; his recent film Devara grossed over ₹70 crore on day one in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone. Coupled with the sequel factor, the Spy Universe branding, and Hrithik reprising his role as Kabir, a ₹100 crore net opening initially seemed possible. However, War 2’s promotional content—including teaser, songs, and trailer—did not fully meet audience expectations. Notably, the highly anticipated dance face-off between Hrithik and NTR was deliberately withheld from promotions, reserved exclusively for the big screen.
The box-office clash with Rajinikanth’s Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, initially seemed manageable. Yet, as advance bookings progressed, Coolie’s overwhelming demand created a subtle negative impact on War 2’s pre-release hype. In North America, Coolie has already shattered premiere records, leaving War 2 trailing in pre-sales numbers.
In the Telugu states, Jr NTR’s pull remains a strong draw, while the Hindi belt contributes significantly to potential earnings. Current projections estimate a ₹60–64 crore net opening across India, with approximately ₹28–30 crore from Telugu-speaking regions, ₹30–32 crore from the Hindi belt, and around ₹2 crore from other territories. If these numbers materialize, War 2 would surpass Pathaan’s ₹57 crore net opening, setting a new record within the Spy Universe. While the opening may fall short of its full potential, it remains robust and leaves ample room for growth, depending on audience word-of-mouth in the following days.
Modi’s September US Visit: Focus on Trade, Tariffs & UNGA

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit the United States in the last week of September. While the primary purpose of his trip is to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, a key objective will be to meet US President Donald Trump and address trade-related differences, aiming to reach a common ground on tariffs.
Speculation is rife that the September meeting could pave the way for a major trade deal. For such a deal to materialize, progress is needed on two fronts: the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the Indo-US trade negotiations.
Delhi has been under significant pressure, having been slapped with 50% tariffs by the US—25% as high tariffs on Indian goods and another 25% as a penalty for its purchases of Russian oil. On the geopolitical front, India is closely monitoring the upcoming meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on August 15, which is expected to address the Ukraine crisis. Modi has already spoken to both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in recent days, emphasizing that a resolution to the conflict aligns with India’s strategic interests.
On the trade front, negotiators from India and the US had been close to finalizing an agreement, but Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the terms initially proposed. Both sides now aim to revisit the negotiations, with a renewed focus on Mission 500, an ambitious plan to more than double bilateral trade to $500 billion by 2030.
During Modi’s visit to the White House in February this year, both nations agreed to work towards Mission 500, emphasizing the need for fair and new trade terms. They had also planned to negotiate the first tranche of a multi-sectoral Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) by the fall, taking an integrated approach to strengthen trade across goods and services sectors. However, these plans have faced delays and challenges.
For the upcoming visit, India has coordinated with the UN headquarters to secure a speaking slot for the Prime Minister at the UNGA, currently scheduled for the morning of September 26. Trump is slated to address the UNGA on September 23. The visit, therefore, would provide Modi an opportunity not only to speak at the UNGA but also to hold bilateral discussions with Trump and other global leaders.
Relations between India and the US have seen some strain in recent months. Trump’s claims of brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, which Delhi denied, and his subsequent criticism of India’s tariffs—including the imposition of 50% tariffs—have added complexities to the bilateral relationship.
Pawan Kalyan’s 2025 Comeback Year

Power Star Pawan Kalyan, over a career spanning 30 years, has delivered just 30 films—averaging roughly one film per year. If we exclude his special appearances in Chiranjeevi and Sai Dharam Tej films, the number further drops. Looking closer, there have been only a handful of instances when Pawan released two films in a single year—about five times in total.
The first time this happened was in 1998 with Suswagatham and Tholi Prema, which brought him immense recognition and elevated his stardom. It took another eight years for him to repeat this feat, releasing Bangaram and Annavaram in 2006. Both films performed moderately at the box office. Five years later, in 2011, he released Teen Maar and Panja in the same year. These were big-budget films with high expectations but failed to meet them commercially.
Not discouraged, Pawan released two films back-to-back the following year, 2012: Gabbar Singh and Camera Man Gangatho Rambabu. While Gabbar Singh was a blockbuster, Rambabu didn’t perform well. The massive success of Gabbar Singh wiped out the previous flops and restored Pawan’s star power and market value.
After this, it took 13 years for him to release two films in a year again. In 2025, he returned with Harihar Veeramallu, his first Pan-India release, which unfortunately didn’t meet box office expectations in July. To regain momentum, he is set to release OG in September 2025, a gangster-backed film generating massive hype. With promotions and buzz already at a peak, fans have high expectations. Additionally, his other film Usta Bhagat Singh is progressing rapidly in production, and a December release could also be possible. All signs point to 2025 being another significant year in Pawan Kalyan’s career.
