Mahesh Babu, who is in Vijayawada for the launch of a jewelry showroom, got emotional about the city and his connection with it. Stating that the city is very close to his heart, Mahesh recalled how several films of him have successfully completed 100 days in Vijayawada.
Mahesh said he is indebted to his fans in the city who love him immensely. He admitted that he enjoys good fan base from Vijayawada. He said it makes him happy to visit Vijayawada.
Talking about upcoming Diwali, Mahesh asked all fans to celebrate the festival of lights well. He said coming Sankranthi (Jan 2020) will be a big feast as his Sarileru Neekevvaru would hit the screens. Giving a glimpse about the film, Mahesh promised the fans that Sarileru Neekevvaru will make his fans proud.
“I’m always thankful to my fans for showing their love, respect towards me. I wish them all the best for Diwali. But for Sankranthi, my film is going to release. I can say that they will be proud about the film,” Mahesh Babu said. Fans have come out in large numbers in Vijayawada to catch glimpse of Mahesh.
Comedian Srinivas Reddy Is Not SVBC Director
It is coming out that comedian Srinivas Reddy, who never showcased his Bhakti angle to the world, got appointed as one of the directors of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel along with newsreader and journalist Swapna, who was popular in TV9 and then moved to Sakshi TV.
But this news seems to be untrue, as comedian Srinivasa Reddy who has no command over direction cannot handle the programs of SVBC. It is found that director Srinivas Reddy of Damarukam movie fame is roped in as director of SVBC along with Swapna, and they both will work under comedian Prithvi, who is the chairman of SVBC.
Director Srinivas Reddy has earlier made some political ads and shot few campaigns for YS Jagan led YSR Congress that formed government in Andhra Pradesh through the last election. Needless to say, for all the people who worked for the ascent of the part, Jagan is showering benefits.

Why Did Tamanna Opt Out Of Raju Gari Gadhi-3?
Tamanna opted to quit from Raju Gari Gadhi-3 after accepting the film. She even attended the muhurtham shot and then decided to quit.In place of her, Avika Gor acted as female lead in the film. She is making a comeback in Telugu after Ekkadikipothav Chinnavada.
Ashwin Babu, hero of the film, in an interview said that Tamanna liked the script and was ready to do the film. But she couldn’t give them give them enough dates at a stretch to complete the film, hence walked out.
Omkar, the producer and director of the film decided to go ahead with Avika as he wanted to not miss Dussehra-Diwali period which he deems best for his horror franchise.
His first film in the franchise, Raju Gari Gadhi became a huge hit during Dussehra but the second part even with Nagarjuna and Samantha, did not receive similar response.
Now, trailer suggested Kanchana style film and Tamanna said to have opted out because of being typecast as horror movie actress, it seems.
As she thought Sye Raa will give her some mileage as an actress, she did not want to get typecasted as horror lead and decided to look for other film opportunities that will have her in variety of roles, going forward.

Megastar Chiranjeevi after becoming Supreme Hero, he kept working with box office proven directors more often than not. He himself took initiation to make films with the likes of K. Viswanath, Bharatiraja, Balachander after becoming a star, to prove his acting skills.
Their films with him were exceptions, while he sticked to Kondarami Reddy, K. Raghavendra Rao mostly after becoming a star. Raviraja Pinisetty and others whoever were in form, used to get a chance to direct him.
