Quite surprisingly, Akkineni Nagarjuna scored a big hit in the recent times with the film Soggade Chinni Nayana which has not-so-new story and premise. The film went on to grab attention because of the Bangarraju character and the way Nagarjuna moulded himself into that with that panchakattu and puligoru kinds of look.
Since then, Nag wants to don that again, but somehow ‘Bangarraju’ is not giving him enough confidence in the story front to take the film to sets. However, Nagarjuna has satisfied his desire of wearing that dress again by appearing in it on Bigg Boss. Okay, not as a host, but actually he went inside the house in that attire.
On the eve of Dasara, Bigg Boss divided the housemates into two teams and made them cook different Chinese dishes. And then, Nagarjuna entered the house in his Soggade Chinni Nayana attire as a special guest and enjoyed himself. Also, he presented sweets and other gifts to inmates.
After wrapping the shoot of this episode, we hear that Nagarjuna actually took a flight to unknown destination for a short holiday before he comes back on Saturday to shoot the weekend episodes.

Apparently, the much hyped interview of director Trivikram, where he shared his feelings about Sye Raa with Megastar Chiru and Ram Charan is out but haven’t impressed cinema lovers big time, says the buzz. Wonder why?
At most of the times, it appeared like Megastar Chiru is showcasing his exaggerated ‘tapana’ to promote himself. For a man of his stature, it is not needed to repeatedly tell that Surender Reddy hasn’t immediately accepted the film but took 20 days to come aboard.
Also though it sounds exciting for fans to see Chiru sharing about what Venky and Nag said to him, coming to his home, for others this sounds cliche. It is better if those celebs endorse their views publicly on social media domain.
Cut to Trivikram, we have him praising Chiranjeevi for every little thing and that sounded like a ‘bhajana’ to impress him. At the same time, Trivikram hailed the decision of Charan to not print numbers of posters, which sounded like another flattery. If the director is really moved by that deicison one wonders why he hasn’t implemented the same for the films made by people close to him.
On a whole, the interview didn’t have major goosebumps giving moments, though it is a fun ride and fans find it very enjoyable.

Fresh from the resounding success of “Sye Raa,” Megastar Chiranjeevi is now moving onto his next film that is expected to commence its regular shoot in the first week of November.
After staging a comeback into films, Chiranjeevi had two different appearances.
He played a rugged and rough character and that of a polished and educated young man in “Khaidi No. 150,” while he donned the role of a 19-th century freedom fighter with ferocious looks in his next film “Sye Raa.”
Now, the megastar is going to have a complete makeover in his next film to be directed by Koratala Siva.
He wants to present Chiranjeevi in a dignified and classy manner, like Raymond’s perfect man or Arrow brand’s male model.
Since the days of “Khaidi No 150”, it’s Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita who has been styling him but for “Sye Raa”, Gautham Menon’s sister Uttara Menon was hired for Chiranjeevi’s styling. Since it was a period film, Surender Reddy opted Uttara’s creative inputs.
Koratala Siva is also planning to hire a stylist along with Sushmita. Shortly we will see, the megastar in completely different attire and avatar.
The film was recently launched with much fanfare. Chiranjeevi is still promoting “Sye Raa”.
From next week, he will be completely shifting to director Koratala’s camp and start working on his new look. The movie will also be released in Telugu and Tamil languages.
This time, they don’t want to take risk of dubbing it in Hindi given the bad result for “Sye Raa”.

It took a mere seven days for Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s Warto hit the Rs. 200 crore jackpot at the box office, becoming the fastest 2019 Bollywood film to cross the mark, tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
The Yash Raj Films-backed movie is also the third highest earning film of 2019 beating Salman Khan’s Eid bonanza Bharat.
The total box office collection (as of Tuesday) of this ‘monstrous hit’ is Rs. 216.65 crore, of which the Hindi version alone has contributed Rs. 208.05 crore.
The remaining amount has been contributed by the film’s Tamil and Telugu versions.

Small time comedian Mahesh Vitta who had stayed in the house for eleven weeks is finally facing the threat of getting evicted from Bigg Boss season 3.
He has been pitted against Rahul Sipligunj and Varun Sandesh who are considered to be title favorites of the season along with Srimukhi and Baba Bhaskar.
In an attempt to save wild card contestant Ali Reza from getting nominated, Bigg Boss has been resorting to physical tasks for nominations from past few weeks.
As a result, Varun, Rahul and Mahesh are into nominations for second time in a row. Mahesh was saved from getting evicted last week as there was Punarnavi in the nominated list.
Mahesh Vitta has been giving tough fight to Varun and Rahul in the unofficial polls as he is getting the support of Baba Bhaskar and Srimukhi fans.
Also the negativity surrounding Vithika Sheru is turning out to be a headache for Varun Sandesh.
The Happy Days actor should let go off his wife in the next couple of weeks, before the finale if he is looking to have a shot at the title.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is still a force to be reckoned with at Telugu Cinema box office. After returning from a ten year hiatus Megastar has reclaimed his position with Non-Baahubali records with Khaidi No. 150.
It was the first Non-Baahubali film to collect over Rs. 100 crore distributor share and with Sye Raa he has surpassed the lifetime collections of his previous film within a week.
With nearly Rs. 105 Cr distributor share worldwide in its first week, Sye Raa has surpassed many records in the process. It now holds the Non-Baahubal 2 opening week record by surpassing Saaho first week numbers in Telugu States by a huge margin. Sye Raa has set new Non-Baahubali 2 records in seven out of eight territories in its first week run.
The film is benefited by two holidays in its first week and made the most of it in Telugu States. Sye Raa hasn’t lived up to the expectations in the Non-Telugu markets, but is sure to beat Rangasthalam full run records to set a new Non-Baahubali record in Telugu States and for Telugu version overall.
Sye Raa should hold its ground until Sunday with Dussera vacation still on and with no notable movies to compete with in this weekend.

Kabir Singh actress Kiara Advani’s Twitter account was hacked on Tuesday evening. The actress posted a couple of messages to her Instagram stories, informing her fans about the same. Kiara’s Twitter account is still in the process of being recovered.
Announcing the news of her Twitter account being hacked, Kiara wrote, “My Twitter account has been hacked. We are working on it to get it back. Please ignore any unnecessary or strange tweets being posted.”
In another message, she said, “Please do not click on any suspicious link that is being sent from my Twitter account. My account is still hacked and this link is not sent by me.”
With this, Kiara joins the list Amitabh Bachchan, Adnan Sami, Shahid Kapoor and other Bollywood celebrities who have fallen prey to social media hacking.
On the work front, Kiara has her plate full with films like Indoo Ki Jawaani, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Laxmmi Bomb and Netflix film Guilty. Kiara is also working with Sidharth Malhotra in Shershaah. All of the aforementioned films release in 2020.

Rana is now settled down in Mumbai after landing from California, USA. Rana Daggubati left for the USA in July for the treatment of his kidney-related ailment.
A renowned surgeon attended him in Chicago and Rana stayed back in the USA for three months to recover.
However, he needs further treatment in India in Mumbai before he resumes his day to day work in Hyderabad. So, he has still not come to his home in Hyderabad.
The 34-year-old handsome hunk has committed to start working in films like Venu Udugula’s “Virata Parvam” and Gunasekhar’s mythological drama “Hiranya Kashyapa”.
Our sources say the doctors have informed Rana not strain his body much in the shoots. He should not indulge in heavy action stunts until he completely recovers.
So, the makers may plan their shoot schedules accordingly.

In a rather bold manner, Shruti Haasan confessed that she had battled alcohol addiction. She isn’t the only film celebrity who has battled addiction but she opened up about it and revealed how she overcame it.
In an interview with Manchu Lakshmi, Shruti said she loved her whiskey bottle a bit too much.
She admitted that she was addicted to the bottle for nearly two years and this addiction affected her health. Shruti also hinted that she took a long break to regain her health.
She now wants to concentrate on her work and career. Shruti Haasan has recently signed a film opposite Ravi Teja. This would reunite her with director Gopichand Malineni.
Shruti didn’t appear in any Telugu film after the release of Pawan Kalyan’s “Katamarayudu”. She recently broke up with her Italian boyfriend.
With the disastrous opening of “Chanakya,” distributors and exhibitors have concluded that Gopichand has lost the power to pull crowds to the ticket windows.
He is not even bringing in decent openings to his movies. The film has collected paltry Rs 1.40 crore in two days from the Telugu states. Sold for Rs 13 crore, it is staring at huge losses.
After the release of “Jil,” Gopichand delivered three duds – Soukhyam, Oxygen, and Pantham. Even “Jil” was failure at the box office. Later, Sampath Nandi directed “Goutham Nada” with him and it just broke-even.
Another film “Aradugula Bullet” got shelved. In the last four or five years, Gopichand has not delivered a blockbuster.
While “Pantham” at least brought some opening collections, “Chanakya” didn’t even post respectable figures in the first weekend proving that Gopichand can no longer guarantee an opening to his movies.
Though he has already signed two films, the producers of these movies are worrying about the opening numbers that “Chanakya” received.
It is said the producers have already decided to cut down the budgets.
Former chief executive officer of TV9 channel V Ravi Prakash appears to be caught in neck deep troubles and is unlikely to wriggle out of them in the near future.
Ravi Prakash, who has been arrested by the Hyderabad police in a case pertaining to siphoning off Rs 18 crore from the Associated Broadcasting Company Limited which runs the channel, will be in great trouble if the Supreme Court orders any CBI and ED inquiry into the allegations levelled by YSR Congress party leader V Vijay Sai Redddyt on parking of ill-gotten money in foreign countries without informing the statutory authorities.
However, sources said Ravi Prakash would not have got into troubles had he heeded to the advice of his well-wishers that he should approach the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership in the Centre.
Many BJP leaders who have clout in Delhi reportedly offered to take him to BJP national president Amit Shah or if possible, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In fact, Ravi Prakash had an occasion to meet Amit Shah during the launch of TV9 Bharatvarsh channel in the past, but he did not continue the relations.
“Somehow, he does not gel with the BJP. Even when his close friends like Sujana Chowdary and C M Ramesh joined the BJP following the advice of their ex-boss N Chandrababu Naidu, Ravi Prakash did not show interest in approaching the BJP, because of his overconfidence,” sources said.
Even Andhra Jyothy managing director V Radhakrishna, who was the hardcore critic of the BJP during the TDP regime, also surrendered to the BJP leadership and met Shah a couple of days ago.
“Had Ravi Prakash followed the advice of his well-wishers, he would not have faced the present situation,” sources said.
Right from the day of coming to power in Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had been expressing concern over the poor financial position of the state.
He even brought out a white paper immediately after coming to power to show that his predecessor and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu had ruined the economy of the state by going in for borrowings left, right and centre, thereby pushing the state into a debt trap.
This was confirmed in a latest revelation by the State Bank of India, the country’s largest public sector banks.
In a letter written to the Andhra Pradesh Power Finance Corporation Limited last week, the bank raised several doubts over the repayment capacity of the Corporation and the credibility of the guarantee offered by the state government.
The power finance corporation filed an application before the bank seeking a term loan of Rs 3,000 crore for taking up various projects in the state. But the bank expressed doubts over the financial health and credibility of the state.
The bank said Andhra Pradesh had a high-level of outstanding debt of Rs 2.52 lakh crore (financial year 2018-19) and that is expected to rise to Rs 3 lakh crore in 2020.
The outstanding guarantees of the state have also witnessed a sharp rise from Rs 9,665 crore in 2017 to Rs 35,964 crore in 2018, resulting in higher committed expenses for the government”, the SBI pointed out.
Considering the exceptional rise in outstanding debt as well as in outstanding guarantees, the capability of the AP government to honour its obligations by payment of actual cash rather than substitution by another instrument needs examination, the SBI said.
