Wrapping up his almost three months long USA Trip, actor Rana Daggubati is back to India. But with the actor choosing to stay in Mumbai rather his home in Hyderabad, there are rumours everywhere that something is wrong. But we hear that there is another legible reason that makes him stay in Mumbai.

Apparently, Rana’s brother Abhiram Daggubati, who has shot to fame with the infamous Sri Reddy episode, is the prime reason for the Baahubali villain to stay in Mumbai. Reportedly Abhiram is in Mumbai now, where he is learning the nuances of acting at a popular Film Institute that trained stars like Ram Charan and Ranbir Kapoor.

We hear that Rana wants to aide his brother in meeting other important people from Bollywood during this stint such that the younger one could get some foothold in Hindi industry. Moreover, Rana wants to look after the casting and other affairs related to Oh Baby Hindi remake during this time.

Kashmir and Pakistan have been the most explored point in Indian cinema. Right from Mani Ratnam’s Roja to recent Suriya’s Bandobasth to Amazon web-series The Family Man, topic of Pakistan and the bone of contention – Kashmir – has been dealt in one way or the other. Yet the burning issue has the elements to ignite the patriotic feeling among Indians and thus set a backdrop for powerful story.

In addition to this backdrop, the recent developments at LoC and abrogation of Article 370, 35A have all brought Kashmir into limelight yet again. The ongoing war of words between PMs of India and Pakistan including the latter’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly recently. All these bring India’s stranded relation with Pak to the fore and raise the tempers on either side.

Amidst this, director Adivi Sai Kiran, of Vinayakaudu and Kerintha fame, comes up with an intense film in the backdrop of Kashmir. Said to be based on real incidents, the film has the premise of 1990 incident. Aadi Saikumar is seen as an NSG officer in the film who fights for the country. What is the core issue that turns into an international problem between India and Pakistan? What is Operation Goldfish? How does Aadi fight against it?

The film has ensemble cast including Rao Ramesh, Abburi Ravi, Anish Kuruvilla besides others. The trailer looks intense, gripping. First Look: Parineeti Chopra As Saina Nehwal

The biopic on Saina Nehwal is one of the most anticipated biopics that every Indian is waiting for. Bubbly actress Parineeti Chopra, who is playing Saina in the biopic, looks like a replica of Saina in the first look released today. Moreover, the ace player Saina too extended her full support to the actress, reiterating that she is looking forward to the film.

The latest first look released shows Parineeti holding shuttlecock and the picture has been shared by Saina herself. She captioned “Looking forward to this journey together”. The picture was a candid shot taken from the sets of the film and Parineeti looks sober with a professional look, almost similar to the player.

Saina also wished the whole team good luck for the project and added, “My best wishes to the team of the Saina Nehwal biopic.” On the other hand, Parineeti Chopra replied “Thankyou my champion. I am so nervous.” Well, stepping into the role of an ace player like Saina is indeed nervous and we are all looking forward to how Parineeti pulls up the character.

For this biopic, the actress is said to be undergoing rigorous training and badminton session in order to live her role in a realistic manner. The film is all set to release next year and along with Saina, fans are pretty addicted to Parineeti’s super-duper look.

Sye Raa: A Super Hit And A Super Flop

Releasing on October 2nd (Wednesday), Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest magnum opus ‘Sye Raa’ has this extended weekend of 5 days in hands, thus getting the opportunity of rake up more moolah on the first weekend. As the film got opened to stupendous talk in Telugu states and poor talk in Bollywood, the impact of that talk got carried to the box office figures also.

We have to say that Sye Raa is emerging as a “super hit” in Telugu states with the 5 days ‘shares’ of the movie likely to remain between 65-70 crores. That’s a terrific first weekend, though the film has to collect 50 crores more to be termed as a safe venture as the film got sold for almost 115+ crores in Telugu states.

With Overseas collections of Telugu version touching 2 million dollars already, the film might post good numbers there too, owing to the fact that there is not much competition around in the coming weeks. Talk is that there will be no losses for all the distributors as the film’s good run in Dasara holidays in the second week is going to help big time in Telugu states as well.

Cut to Bollywood market, Sye Raa managed to collect only 10 crores nett in its first weekend as the Hindi audiences got swept away by Hrithik-Tiger’s war that made 160 crores nett already. With lack of promotions, Sye Raa suffered this massive stroke up north, which might result in almost 18 crores loss for the distributor, thus earning the tag of ‘super flop’ there.

Rumour: Star Heroines refusing to shoot in forest

There is this film of action star Gopichand that was launched almost in March this year but struggling to go on floors. The reason behind this new flick not able to get a jet start is that star heroines are refusing to join this team regarding the ‘forest’ thing.

To be directed Binu Subrahmanyam, actually, Gopichand should do a film with producer BVSN Prasad whose Pooja ceremony was already done. Earlier Kajal Aggarwal was supposed to join the shooting of this movie, but she has moved out of the project later. And then, we heard the name of Raashi Khanna strongly, but she too opted out of it.

The Reason behind Raashi walking out of this film is that she has to allocate almost 40 days of dates for the movie, which is not a problem, but she has to shoot for the movie inside thick forests in Karnataka by staying there. Worried about her safety and other issues, Raashi felt that staying in forests for forty days is not viable for her as she has other projects and events to take care of.

Maybe, Gopi should opt for a new heroine for the film in case if starlets are refusing to join, but the actor is said to be looking forward to start Sampath Nandi’s movie.

F2 – only Telugu film to be screened at IFFI ’19

Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s family-comedy entertainer F2 has now made it to the International Film Festival of India 2019. The event is going to be held in Goa and the proud moment has been rejoiced by the whole cast and crew for being the only Telugu film to be screened at IFFI.

F2, released in January this year has received good reactions from the audience for its quirky humour. With Venkatesh as a frustrated husband and Varun’s perfect comic timing has become the biggest strength to F2. Now, the honour of making it to the Film Festival, it is a great achievement for the team.

The news has been shared on social media by the film’s production house – “We are so excited and happy to know that our film #F2 has been selected as the only Telugu film entry to be screened at Indian Panorama 2019 in Goa this November. Congrats to the whole team.”

Director Anil Ravipudi’s good work has been paid off and now he is working on the film Sarileru Neekevvaru with Mahesh Babu. He also expressed his gratefulness and tweeted, “#F2 success journey continues. Super happy and honoured to let you all know that our film is the only Telugu film which will be showcased in Indian Panorama 2019.”

Today, October 6, marks as the most gorgeous couple of Tollywood, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni’s second wedding anniversary. The beautiful pair got married in Goa on this date, in 2017. This romantic occasion has been reminisced by Rana Daggubati by taking the news to Instagram.

Rana wished the couple with Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s wedding picture, where the duo is seen walking the aisle hand-in-hand. The fairytale wedding has once again been recalled by all the fans and commenters too started wishing the actors on their big day. Posting the photo, Rana wrote, “Happy Anniversary you lovelies. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are one of the inspiring couples in TYI as they love towards eachother is only growing stronger with every passing day. #Bigg Boss 3: Mahesh In, Punarnavi Out

Punarnavi has been eliminated from Bigg Boss Telugu season 3. Nagarjuna has announced that Punarnavi would walk out of the reality TV show.

Mahesh, Rahul and Varun were also in the nomination for elimination along with Punarnavi, however, it is learnt that Punarnavi was polled lesser votes compared to others.

At a point, it was rumoured that Mahesh would be eliminated this week, but making such predictions wrong, it is Punarnavi Bhupalam who has been eliminated.

With Punarnavi’s exit, her close friends in the show Vithika and Rahul have become emotional as they gonna miss her in the coming days.

Varun Sandesh’s batch has got a set back in the form of Punarnavi’s elimination as Varun, Vithika and Rahul have lost a dear friend in the house.

It is expected to weaken Vithika and Varun. This has made the show much more interesting as who would sustain in the coming days.

Rana fires on media over wrong report

Rana Daggubati has done it again. He has blasted an English daily over a wrong news report on him. Going into details, a leading English daily had reported that Rana flew his cook from Hyderabad to London to accompany him in the shooting of Housefull 4. The report went onto add that how Rana is strict about his diet and how his chef is fully conscious about Rana’s diet and taste.

The report further added that the chef would exclusively cook for Rana at the hotel’s kitchen. The report talked about Rana’s rigorous diet plan and his health consciousness. When the daily had posted it on social media platform and tagged Rana, the actor lost his cool and shot back at the media house for reporting wrong news. Rana has denied the report and further clarified that he hadn’t even taken part in the London schedule of Housefull 4.

With unexpected counter from the actor, the media house has deleted its post online.

KCR’s Ego Deeply Hurt?

In a never before the shocking move, Telangana CM KCR set a precedent by dismissing over 50,000 TSRTC employees who have been on a flash strike for the last three days.

While KCR’s decision was hailed by many as a milestone in Indian politics, many others are openly criticizing him as a fascist and a dictator for oppressing the protestors’ 26 rightful demands for the welfare of the RTC and its employees.

Whatever, it definitely looks like KCR’s ego is deeply hurt with the RTC employees’ ‘blackmail’ by going on a flash strike during the Dasara festive season which usually witnesses a mad rush. Also, the entire RTC strike episode and KCR’s punitive action will be showing a deep impact on the Huzurnagar by-election, with the opposition leaders targeting the TRS firebrand leader.

KCR on Sunday announced after dismissing the employees that they will not be taken back since they don’t join duties before the Saturday 6 PM deadline. KCR also announced that as of now, only 1,200 employees are left in TSRTC after the mass dismissal.

Ganta is back with the Boss!

In two decades of his political career, former AP minister and Vishakhapatnam North MLA Ganta Srinivas Rao has never tasted a defeat. The industrialist turned politician started off his political stint with TDP in 1999 and successfully won from Anakapalle Lok Sabha segment.

But, he has been media’s interest only after joining Praja Rajyam. Mr. Rao also received a cabinet post after Chiranjeevi merged PRP in Congress.

Later, he moved to TDP and got elected as MLA for two succesful times – but from two different assembly segments (Bheemili & Vizag North). During his stint as minister in TDP government, Jana Sena chief and Megastar’s brother Pawan Kalyan had lashed out at Mr. Rao about sand mafia in state. Also, Pawan Kalyan gave out an indication that JSP will never open its door for opportunists like Ganta.

Surprisingly, Ganta has once again appeared with his dear friend and former political boss, Chiranjeevi. It is known that both of them still maintain a great equation and they also attend some film events together.

Despite his political rift with Pawan Kalyan, Ganta continues to maintain good rapport with Megastar and they travelled in a private jet from Hyderabad to Tadepalligudem to unveil senior actor S V Ranga Rao’s bronze statue. A picture of them is now going viral on social media.

Posting a capture of them, Ganta said “It’s my pleasure to spend some quality time with the ever-charming #Chirajneevi Garu.”

Get Ready! Trivikram to interview Chiru

We must admit that there is a lesser effort coming from Ram Charan when it comes to promoting ‘Sye Raa’ post the release of the movie. These are the days where post-release promotions will help a film big time, but somehow they are ignoring it. Not anymore we have to say now.

Apparently leading director Trivikram is coming up with an interview where he will be talking to both Megastar Chiru and Ram Charan. Actually Trivikram was supposed to direct Chiranjeevi years back but that didn’t materialized. Later the film of Charan-Trivikram also never worked out. Recently Chiru himself confirmed that he has Trivikram’s film in the pipeline after Koratala Siva’s project.

In the wake of these reports, to see Chiranjeevi with Trivikram will be a delight to fans who love to hear from the dashing director known for his magical spell of words. The interview got recorded on Monday morning and very soon it will be up on YouTube, before getting aired on Telugu channels.

Meanwhile, Sye Raa is enjoying a good run at theatres with Dasara holidays giving the much-needed boost for the movie.

#RTCStrike: KCR repeated Jayalalithaa

The sacking of 48,000 employees from TSRTC at one go by Telangana CM KCR was a sensational decision. RTC employees have intensified their protests all over the state yet the government is stubborn and gave clear instructions to all the depot managers across the state to not to take back the employees who were on strike.

But is KCR’s decision to sack 48,000 a valid one? Legal experts too have divided opinion on this. While saying that it is not possible to terminate such huge number of employees at a time, they added that under Essential Services Maintenance (ESMA), the sacking is valid.

This episode reminds us of late Jayalalithaa who too dismissed 1.70 Lakh RTC employees back in 2003 in Tamil Nadu. But later the employees went to Supreme Court and with court’s intervention, they got back their jobs. But Jayalalithaa had the upper hand as she made TN RTC employees sign a paper that they would never do strikes again.

Looks like KCR is going to do what Jayalalithaa had done about 16 years back. But we can’t rule out chances that KCR will stick to his decision and recruit new staff where employees will have to sign a bond paper that has many terms and conditions.

Talk Of Town: Why Punarnavi Didn’t Hug Rahul?

On Sunday night, it’s not a major twist as many are anticipating that Punarnavi will be out of #BiggBoss3 owing to the fact that the other contestants in the elimination zone are none other than Rahul, Varun and Mahesh. As expected, she’s out, but the twist is that she hugged everyone while stepping out, except Rahul Sipligunj.

Though they called themselves as good friends, both Rahul and Punarnavi enjoyed sort of a love-chemistry throughout the show until her exit. Though Punarnavi didn’t cry huge when Rahul got eliminated (secretly for a day) earlier, Rahul, on the other hand, broke into tears after Punarnavi’s exit. And then, why she didn’t hug him became a big topic now.

Some say that Punarnavi wants to send a message to Bigg Boss that she should be sent back to the house to finish out that missing hug. But that might not happen as her presence is disturbing the balance inside the house as she ganged up with Varun and Vithika big time. On the other hand, Punarnavi doesn’t want to create a scene before going home as her parents (and boyfriend, about whom she confirmed on the show) might ask about hugging Rahul.

Anyway, Punarnavi’s attitude might help Rahul score more points now as a sympathy wave might get invoked in his support now.
