KCR And Jagan Promised Me, Reveals Chiranjeevi

“We’ve not focused on Film Industry till date, you (Chiru) give us advice on how to develop the film industry further in Hyderabad,” said KCR, as said by Megastar Chiranjeevi. Speaking at MAA Diary launch event, Chiru further added that even AP CM YS Jagan told him, “Anna Cheppandi Meeku Emi Kavalo, we will do it”.

Speaking at the event that took place at Park Hyatt, Chiranjeevi advised MAA members to focus on development and welfare rather than fighting with each other. “It is no question of who individually gets fame from doing service to MAA, it is how the film industry gets benefitted and how MAA gets benefitted. Nadigar Sangam of Tamilnadu became so powerful in terms of money and influence, so we should also go to that level” added Chiranjeevi.

But Chiru says that he is also aware that politics creep into an organisation when there is lots of money. “Don’t go aggressively to collect money and spending it, but go constructively” he advises. “Let us not focus on delivering what will give to MAA for next 1 year, let us have a vision that will help members in the long run” Chiru further said.

MAA Controversy: Rajasekhar Resigns As VP

The ongoing controversy in the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) of the Telugu film industry became intense during the inauguration of the new MAA diary 2020. While already the MAA was virtually divided into two groups one led by President Naresh and the other led by Vice President Rajasekhar, the MAA convened a formal meet in the presence of industry big wigs to inaugurate the diary and to discuss the well-being of movie artistes and the works to be done in 2020. But this has yet again highlighted the differences in the MAA.

Amidst this, actor Rajasekhar has announced his resignation. He resigned as the Executive Vice President from the MAA. In the resignation letter, Rajasekhar leveled serious allegations on President Naresh and accused him of not being transparent. He said Naresh has been continuously “degrading” and “insulting” him and other members of the MAA ever since he sworn in. Rajasekhar said yet he has tried his best to do good to the association and the members. Rajasekhar in his letter said he is deeply pained by the things that are happening in the MAA. Stating that he is emotional, sensitive and straight-forward person, Rajasekhar explained his reason for his act at the MAA event that held today (Jan 2, 2020). He said even the today’s meeting was only informed to his wife Jeevitha through whatsapp message. Rajasekhar said president Naresh hasn’t discussed in the EC meeting prior on how to conduct the today’s event and president Naresh has directly explained at the event. He further alleged that president Naresh wouldn’t consult other EC members on key issues and act and take decisions as per his will and pleasure. Rajasekhar said hence he has decided to resign to the post of Vice President.

Rajasekhar said he and his wife Jeevitha and other members of their group have explained the wrongdoings of Naresh to all the elders of film industry before but in vain. He said “In spite of so much effort, I sincerely feel that nothing is changing,” said Rajasekhar in his resignation letter. Rajasekhar’s resignation has yet again stirred the ongoing controversy in the MAA.

Earlier today at the MAA event, Rajasekhar has spoken about the differences between president and him. This hasn’t gone well with Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Krishnam Raju and others. Chiranjeevi had called for a disciplinary action against Rajasekhar for violating the norms and bringing up the differences in front of media. Chiranjeevi had accused Rajasekhar of “willfully” creating controversy at the MAA diary launch. President Naresh, other big wigs like Chiranjeevi are yet to respond to Rajasekhar’s resignation.

Viveka murder: SIT probing TDP MLC role

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Andhra Pradesh police, constituted to investigate into the murder of former minister and YSR Congress party leader Y S Vivekananda Reddy is learnt to have been grilling Telugu Desam Party legislator B Tech Ravi for the last two days.

The SIT authorities are reportedly questioning Ravi at a private hotel in Kadapa, where he had reportedly met the prime accused Parameswar Reddy before the killing of Viveka.

The police had also summoned Parameswar Reddy to the hotel for questioning. Reddy was undergoing treatment in hospital at the time of Viveka’s assassination and the police had also questioned the hospital authorities on the genuineness of his claim.

The SIT is also grilling MLC C Narayana Reddy, elder brother of former minister and presently BJP leader C Adinarayana Reddy.

BTech Ravi who appeared before the SIT officials has moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court in December demanding the YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case to be transferred to CBI for the transparent probe.

Vivekananda Reddy, who happened to be the uncle of chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and brother of YS Rajshekar Reddy was murdered on March 15, 2019.

MAA Controversy: Rajasekhar Resigns as VP

Actor Rajasekhar, the vice president of MAA (Movie Artistes’ Association), resigned after he faced a lot of criticism from all sections for the ruckus he created on Thursday morning at an event.

In his letter of resignation, Rajasekhar alleged that president Naresh is degrading and insulting the committee members continuously.

“I sincerely feel that nothing is going to change and I had to vent out my emotions today in the event but again I would like to tell you this is how I am. I am a very emotional and straight-forward person. Keeping all this in view, I have decided to resign to my post,” he mentioned in a hand-written letter.

Rajasekhar and Naresh have been waging war against each other despite they had won on the same panel last year. Rajasekhar alleges that Naresh is behaving like a monarch.

Sarileru completes all the censor formalities

Toofan FL: Intense and intriguing expression

One of the talented and versatile B-town actors Farhan Akhtar shared the first look of his upcoming film Toofan, a sports drama. The first look shows the 45-year-old handsome actor sporting a boxing jersey, standing in a boxing ring. With an intense and serious look, Farhan is generating huge expectations once again, similar to his earlier blockbusters like Bhaag Milka Bhaag and Rock on.

It is reported that Farhan has undergone high intensity and enormous training sessions fo the boxer role in Toofan.The film is said to be released on October 2, this year. Nearly after three months of launch, #Chiru152 has finally hit the sets. The shooting has commenced on Thursday in Hyderabad and this first schedule is likely to go on for 20 days.

#Chiru152 is the first combination of Megastar Chiranjeevi with successful director Koratala Siva. The film’s leading ladies are yet to be confirmed yet the shooting has kick-started. In this schedule, a song on Chiru and couple of episodes will be canned. A popular and young heroine is likely to shake leg with the Megastar in the song.

Chiru has lost weight and is going to sport in a new look in this film which is touted to be a social oriented commercial drama.

Venkatesh And Varun Tej To Reunite In 2020

Ever since “F2: Fun and Frustration” became a huge success at the box office, producer Dil Raju confirmed that there will be a sequel film “F3” to hit, with heroes Venkatesh and Varun Tej. Like a “Housefull” and “Hungama” franchisee in Bollywood, even this sequel will have heroes unchanged, but new heroines will be coming in.

Reacting on the same, Venkatesh has confirmed that already the first round of discussions between him and Varun Tej with director Anil Ravipudi has happened regarding F2 sequel. They are most likely to start the shoot in 2020 only for the sequel if Venkatesh’s revelation is anything to be believed. While Venky is busy with Asuran remake now, Varun Tej is doing boxing-backdrop movie under newcomer Kiran’s direction. After wrapping these two, the two are yet to sign any new film.

At the same time, Anil Ravipudi hasn’t signed any other film as he is looking forward to Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru release. But if Anil has to take F3 to sets, he should be waiting for more than 4-5 months until these two heroes get free. Will he wait and focus on F3 with these two? Let’s see what happens in 2020.

When Chiru Kissed Mohan Babu On Stage

“There will be petty issues between brothers, sisters and wife-husband. But still, we all are a family. We should have a bit of romance and humour in life, but not these egos. No matter what anyone thinks of our relation, Chiranjeevi and I are a family, and we treat each other’s family as own family” said Mohan Babu, inviting a kiss from Chiranjeevi.

When Mohan Babu stated those words, Chiru stood up to say ‘true’ and planted a kiss on the Dialogue King’s cheek. That camaraderie between the two senior actors is really stunning and adorable at the event, as they praised and teased each other. After making Chiru go merry with his words, Mohan Babu joked, “Chiru is quite serious here but at home, he’s the one who will be silent. Surekha is my sister and I know how Chiranjeevi behaves inside the family”

Cutting back to the comments being made by others, Mohan Babu added this:
“Two comedians have spoken ill of Mohan Babu and Mega family earlier. I’ve called them both to our hose and gave them a warning saying that I’ll slash their skin. One of those comedians is alive and one is not. And now we should pay heed to Chiranjeevi’s advice. “Speak good things in mic, but bad ones secretly in ear” is great advice we should all follow,” he says, praising Chiranjeevi on the stage.

Various events took place in IT hub Hyderabad on the eve of New Year on December 31st night, to which some heroines also attended. There is one particular event where a bunch of forgotten and struggling heroines attended as chief guests and entertained the audiences with their dances too.

It is coming out that after 12’O clock, when the cake was cut, and when one of the heroines who sizzled at the event attended in a ravishing look was about to board her car, huge ruckus took place. One of the attendees of the event, who is said to have donated huge money to host the event, has got fully drunk before asking the heroine to come up with him for a drink.

When the heroine refused to do so, he is said to have got hurt and sat before her car, owing to that the car will not be crossing him until she comes out with him. Later few biggies rushed to the spot and took the heroine away in a car, while the big guy hurled abuses and tried to throw away some chairs at those who stopped him.

As the event took place at a noted place where biggies regularly come, the organisers made sure that the issue will not come out in the media, hoping that it will spoil their reputation.

Pawan, Ravi Teja Rejected, I’m Doing A Different Film

Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas who’s celebrating his birthday tomorrow came up with interesting updates of his new film and next ventures.

Srinivas is presently doing a yet to be titled flick under Santosh Srinivas direction which already completed 20 percent of the shoot. The film is planned for release in May.

The young hero informed that the film is going to be a rom-com.

“Except for last 20 minutes of emotional and action-packed portion, the film will be uproarious throughout.”

Srinivas clarified that he will be seen in a clean-shaven look in the film, as suggested by his director.

There’s good demand for his Hindi dubbing rights of his films. However, Bellamkonda is not in a hurry to make his Bollywood debut in near future.

He also made it clear that the film is not a remake of Tamil hit Theri.

“Yes, Santosh planned to do Theri remake with Pawan Kalyan and then Ravi Teja under our production banner. But, for unknown reasons, it didn’t materialize. We’re doing this film with a completely new story.”

He lined up his next under Dil Raju’s production. But, director for the film is not yet confirmed.

“I’m listening to various scripts. But, neither script nor director is locked.”

Bellamkonda proclaimed that he’s always ready to work with newcomers.

#MAA Event: Chiru Serious On Rajasekhar’s Behaviour

“If there is anything good about MAA, we will tell in a mic. But if there something wrong, let’s heave it in ears” says Megastar Chiranjeevi, hinting that MAA members and those in position should stop fighting against each other through media statements. However, all this goodness didn’t go well with senior hero Rajasekhar, who felt that Chiru is hiding the real truths.

Grabbing mic from Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and then touching the feet of everyone on the dias including Chiru, Mohan Babu and Krishnam Raju, Rajasekhar turned emotional, before finding fault with Megastar’s speech. “Chiranjeevi garu asked all of us to come together, but he’s hiding the issue here. He is asking us not to speak issues in public and only good things in a mic. When I’m doing good things like a hero in real life, some forces are trying to crush me down” alleged Rajasekhar.

While Chiranjeevi warned him during that time to say bad things only in ears, but not on the mic, Mohan Babu felt offended with Rajasekhar’s speech and tried to give him an earful. But visibly upset Chiranjeevi has asked Mohan Babu to resist.

Responding on the happening, Chiru once again commented, “I’ve already told everyone to tell good things in a mic and bad things only in ears. By doing like this, Rajsekhar haven’t given any respect to elders like me. I don’t know why I should sit here in that case. I condemn this behaviour of Rajasekhar”.

“Give us a blueprint of development, but not these allegations and aggressive behaviour. If there is any disciplinary committee in MAA, take strong action on Rajasekhar for disrupting an event this way” Chiru concluded.
