Allu Arjun is set to collaborate with acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj for the 23rd film of his career. The project, which will also mark Lokesh Kanagaraj’s seventh directorial venture, is currently in the pre-production stage and will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
On Saturday, Allu Arjun took to Instagram Stories to wish Lokesh Kanagaraj on his 40th birthday. Sharing a picture with the director, the Pushpa star wrote a heartfelt message wishing him happiness, peace, and positivity in the coming year.
Along with the birthday wishes, the actor also expressed excitement about their upcoming collaboration, referring to the project as the “AA23–LK7 journey.” The film has already generated huge anticipation among fans and film circles.
Interestingly, Allu Arjun appears increasingly interested in collaborating with Tamil filmmakers. Apart from working with Lokesh Kanagaraj, he is also set to team up with director Atlee for another big-budget project.
Lokesh Kanagaraj is known for delivering blockbuster films like Vikram and Master, both of which were widely appreciated by Telugu audiences as well. R. Madhavan Warns Fans About Fake Social Media Account
R. Madhavan has issued a warning to his fans about a fraudulent social media account that has been impersonating him online. The Kollywood actor clarified that the account has no connection with him or his team and urged people to stay cautious.
Sharing the alert on his social media page, Madhavan wrote that the individual behind the account falsely claims to represent him and interacts with people online on his behalf. He clearly stated that the profile is completely fake and advised fans not to trust it. The actor also emphasised that no other account represents him or speaks on his behalf on Instagram or any other social media platform.
To make the warning clear, Madhavan posted a screenshot of the suspicious profile and asked followers to be aware of such scams. He further added that appropriate steps are being taken to identify the person operating the fake account and to take legal action against them.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Madhavan recently played a key role in Dhurandhar alongside Ranveer Singh. He will also appear in its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026.
Madhavan enjoys strong popularity among Telugu audiences as well. He became widely recognised after the success of Sakhi and later impressed viewers with his performance in Amrutha. He has also appeared in Telugu films such as Savyasachi and Silence, the latter featuring Anushka Shetty.

The recent drug bust at a farmhouse in Hyderabad has triggered a major political controversy in Telangana, putting the spotlight on former BRS leader Pilot Rohit Reddy.

Leaders from the Indian National Congress have strongly targeted BRS over the incident. Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that the previous BRS government, which ruled Telangana for nearly a decade, allowed drug culture to spread in the state. He also challenged K. T. Rama Rao to undergo a drug test during the upcoming Assembly session.
Responding to the challenge, K. T. Rama Rao took to social media and stated that drugs destroy lives and turn people into “monsters.” He made it clear that he strongly opposes drug usage and illegal substances, adding that his party condemns such activities.
KTR further said that anyone involved in using or trafficking drugs should face strict legal action, regardless of their political affiliation. He also accepted the challenge and suggested that politicians from all parties should voluntarily undergo drug tests to send a strong message to the public.

N. Chandrababu Naidu’s government is set to complete two years in office this summer, and speculation about a possible cabinet reshuffle has already begun circulating in political circles and the media.
The Telugu Desam Party suffered a major defeat in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election, largely due to dissatisfaction with the performance of several MLAs. Although many voters appreciated Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, there was reportedly widespread frustration with the functioning of local representatives, which ultimately affected the party’s prospects.
Since returning to power, Naidu has been cautious about governance and performance. Even before completing a year in office, he has repeatedly warned several MLAs and ministers about their work style and lack of performance. On multiple occasions, the Chief Minister has publicly expressed dissatisfaction with some leaders and urged them to improve.
During a recent party meeting, Naidu reportedly revealed that around six months ago he had expressed displeasure with the performance of nearly 40 MLAs. Following repeated warnings, about fifteen of them are said to have improved their functioning. However, he indicated that four to five MLAs could soon face disciplinary action.
What form this disciplinary action might take remains unclear. Removing MLAs from their positions is not a practical option, as it would trigger by-elections and potentially complicate the political situation in the state. Such a step has rarely been taken in the past.
There have also been discussions about how certain leaders have been given extended leniency. For instance, Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao was reportedly spared strict action earlier, partly due to concerns about political and caste-related sensitivities. Some observers believe this may have encouraged a few other MLAs to become complacent.
Against this backdrop, a cabinet reshuffle is being seen as a possible move to send a strong message about accountability. Dropping underperforming ministers or reorganising key portfolios could help reinforce discipline within the government.
According to several media reports, the reshuffle may take place around the festival of Ugadi, which means a decision could be expected within the next few days.
