Nagarjuna Applauds Lokesh’s Budget Brilliance in Coolie
King Nagarjuna is not just a celebrated actor but also a successful producer. Under his Annapurna Studios banner, many films have not only entertained but also struck a chord with the audience. Known for his sharp producer instincts, Nagarjuna recently shared an interesting incident during the Telugu press meet of Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Coolie.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the final schedule of Coolie was wrapped up in Bangkok. Nagarjuna revealed that Lokesh personally met him after the shoot and surprised him by saying that he managed to save ₹5 crore from the allocated budget. Although Sun Pictures was willing to increase the budget by ₹15 crore, Lokesh completed the film under budget—something that impressed Nagarjuna deeply.
