Is Pooja Hegde Wasting Her Time In Bollywood?
With back to back hits, Pooja Hegde amassed an unbelievable craze in the Telugu states. Tollywood filmmakers are literally offering pujas to Pooja and are not even thinking twice to give her fat paychecks to get her dates.
In fact, Pooja’s 15-minute role was a saving grace for Gaddalakonda Ganesh. Without her extended cameo and her scintillating screen presence, the film’s fate at the box office would have been totally different.
However, Pooja she seems to be diluting all her popularity in Tollywood by wasting time by signing lackluster roles in Bollywood. For example, of the three heroines in the just-launched trailer of Housefull 4, Kriti Sanon was given more importance, while Pooja’s screentime was only equal to that of Kriti Kharbandha.
Needless to say, Pooja won’t benefit from signing such unworthy roles in Bollywood. It’s understandable if she signs performance-oriented roles. But she shouldn’t be content with this kind of insignificant roles in commercial potboilers.
We have seen how several heroines, especially from the southern film industry, lost their shine back home by succumbing to the big Bollywood dreams. Its high time Pooja realized this and put an end to signing such mediocre roles and concentrate on Tollywood for the time being.

Ramulamma ready for switchover to BJP!
Glamorous actress of yesteryears and former MP Vijayashanti is preparing ground to join the Bharatiya Janata Party sooner or later.
According to sources, Vijayashanti, who has been designated as star campaigner by the high command before the parliament elections, is said to have told the Congress party leaders in the state that she might not be available for the party’s campaign in the forthcoming by-elections to Huzurnagar assembly seat, where PCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy’s wife N Padmavathi is contesting.
She has been sulking for quite some time that the party has not been taking her into confidence in any issue and has not been calling her to any of the core committee meetings.
In the meantime, Vijayashanti is said to have held a series of discussions with the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders both in Delhi and Hyderabad.
Apparently, she got an assurance from the high command that she would get due importance in the state BJP and might be made Mahila Morcha chief.
If she joins the BJP shortly, she might take up the campaign for the party in Huzurnagar by-elections. Though it is unlikely that the BJP will the seat, it will help her gain the glory in public, sources said.
Will AP High Court move to Rayalaseema?
The advocates from Guntur district have been holding protests against the State government’s move to shift the High Court from Amaravati. A series of protests were held across the Guntur district, for the past one month.
There are protests of the advocates from the Uttarandhra to shift the High Court to their region. The advocates from here are not happy with the new railway zone, but want the High Court for them.
Similar protests from people and advocates from Rayalaseema are being held with a demand to shift the HC to their region.
Some of the Rayalseema leaders are recalling the Sri Bagh Pact, where it was agreed to share capital and HC between Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra.
Accordingly, the capital was opened at Kurnool and High Court in Guntur in 1953, when Andhra State was created from Madras State.
But, in 1956, both the capital and High Court were moved to Hyderabad with the formation of Andhra Pradesh.
Now, with the 1953’s Andhra is back, the demands for implementation of the Sri Bagh Pact is gaining momentum.
Giving hopes to this demand, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath, had hinted at shifting the HC to Rayalaseema.
He said that the government is looking into the proposal as the chief minister is in favour of spreading the development to all the 13 districts and not to concentrate it in Amaravati.
If the government shifts the HC, it might see some protests from the advocates, but for sure, the ruling party will win the hearts of the Seema people.
The capital is given to Amaravati, railway zone to Uttarandhra and High Court to Rayalaseema, doing justice to all the three regions, is what the ruling YSR Congress leaders say.

The other day director Puri Jagannadh and producer Charmme have had announced that they would be supporting 20 directors and co-directors financially. In this matter they changed his mind.
Not 20, Puri and Charmme have decided to extend the support to 30 of them. They learned that there are a few more who are seriously in needy of financial aid and got details of them and assured all the possible help.
On Saturday, these 30 directors and co-directors will be getting paid Rs 50,000 each on the occasion of Puri’s birthday.
Irrespective of the number director Puri and his team should be appreciated for this noble gesture.
