Aamir Khan & Mahesh Babu Stunned By Sye Raa
Two big superstars of Indian cinema are now in awe of the legendary Megastar’s upcoming flick as the trailer has mesmerised them. After Salman Khan tweeted about Chiru’s “Sye Raa” trailer, here comes Aamir Khan and Mahesh Babu, raving about it.
“Exceptional visuals. The grandeur of the film is evident in every frame of the trailer! Chiranjeevi garu” tweeted Mahesh, after he watched Sye Raa trailer. He wished Ram Charan, Amitabh Bachhan and Surender Reddy all the very best, as he concluded, “great work!!! Looking forward to Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy!”.
It could be noted that Mahesh heaped praises on Sye Raa teaser at a cinema event to which he attended as Chief guest along with Megastar Chiru.
Coming to Aamir Khan, the Mr Perfect of India has not only tweeted about the trailer, but he made sure that the link of the trailer will be kept in his profile on Instagram. “Just saw the trailer of Syeraa! HUGE scale! I am a big fan of Chiranjeevi Garu, and I can’t wait to see the film! All the very best to Chiranjeevi Sir, Ram Charan, and the entire team!” he tweeted.
Needless to say, the Bollywood views of Sye Raa trailer are zooming past Telugu trailer with big superstars like Salman and Aamir tweeting about it.
Meanwhile, there is no stopping for the celebrations of Mega fans after tweets started flowing from such big superstars.
Valmiki Banned In Two Districts; Producers Changed Title?
Without any speck of respect for the Censor Certificate issued by the CBFC, Andhra Pradesh government felt that the law and order situation in AP and Telangana will be troubled by this movie.
Worried about the film’s title “Valmiki” regarding which the Boya community is staging some protests saying that their sentiments are hurt as a villain is named with a great sage’s name, AP government issued orders to ban the film in Kurnool and Anantapur districts of the state. None would have expected such a step by AP government just a day before the film’s release.
Shocked by this decision, now director Harish Shankar and producers 14 Reels Plus are said to have taken a decision to change the title of the film to “Gaddalakonda Ganesh”. While the official press meet regarding this title change is yet to happen, sources have confirmed that already new designs are being made and posters with the new title will be printed by the night.
Also, the makers are doing change to film’s title motion graphics as well before sending the final harddisks.
Sand mafia accused is TTD special invitee?
The YSR Congress party government headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday appointed a seven-member panel of special invitees for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, in continuation of the appointment of a 28-member trust board.
The special invitee include, Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, MP Raksh Sinha and advisory committee presidents Sekhar AJ from Chennai, Kupender Reddy from Bengaluru, Govinda Hari from Hyderabad, Dusmanth Kumar Das from Bhubhaneswar and Amor Kale from Mumbai.
These special invitees to the TTD will have all protocol facilities given to the regular TTD trust board members, but will not have any voting right while passing resolutions in the Board.
While there is no controversy with regard to the appointment of these special invitees, the presence of the name of Sekhar A J from Chennai in the list evoked curiosity in a section of media is.
Even before making enquiries about this person, some media started assuming that he is none other sand mining baron Sekhar Reddy, who was allegedly caught red-handed by the Income Tax authorities during the demonetisation period a couple of years ago, while possessing huge wealth disproportionate to his income in brand Rs 2,000 currency notes.
Sekhar Reddy was then a member of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and the YSR Congress leaders then alleged that he had close links with the TDP bosses. Then chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu immediately removed him from the TTD board following allegations.
It is not exactly known whether the same person is back into the TTD as special invitee, since the list released by the government nowhere says he is Sekhar Reddy, but just Sekhar AJ.
In any case, the sooner the government clarifies the issue, the better.
Boat mishap: Why so wild allegations from ex-MP?
It has been nearly five days since the tragic boat accident occurred in Godavari river near Katchuluru village of Devipatnam mandal in East Godavari district and so far, 38 bodies were found.
Luckily, the tragedy has not been politicised by the opposition Telugu Desam Party leaders much, mainly because they were preoccupied in gaining political mileage from the suicide of former assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.
Moreover, it was a tragedy which would not fetch any big political benefits to any political party and any such attempt would have only boomeranged on them.
But surprisingly, former MP from Amalapuram G V Harsha Kumar surfaced from nowhere on Thursday, after keeping silent all these days, and started making wild allegations.
God knows who told him, but the ex-MP said there were 93 members on board of the ill-fated boat, not 73 as claimed by the officials.
Harsha Kumar went on to say that though Devipatnam sub-inspector had objected to running of the boats when the flood was on, he was forced to give permission after getting a phone call from the superintendent of police and district collector.
He said tourism minister Avanti Srinivas had called the SP and instructed him to allow the boat to be operated in the river.
What is more sensational was that the ex-MP alleged that there were illegal activities going on in the boat in the name of tourism.
Harsha Kumar also charged the authorities with deliberately delaying in retrieving the boat only to hush up the total number of deaths.
Stating that the officials were misleading the chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said several leaders and officials had illegitimate shares in the tourism operations.
The SP, however, strongly denied Harsha Kumar’s allegations, while Avanti Srinivas threatened to file defamation suit against the ex-MP for making such baseless allegations.
