King Nagarjuna and the vice-president of Telangana Badminton Association (TBA) Chamundeswarinath teamed up to gift a swanky luxury car to star Indian badminton pro PV Sindhu for her recent achievements.
On Saturday, the actor met PV Sindhu at Annapurna Studios and presented the car in the presence of her coach Pullela Gopichand.
Earlier, when PV Sindhu won silver medal at the Olympics, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar too had gifted her a luxury car of the same brand.
After her win at the Badminton World Championship, numerous TFI stars had taken to social media to congratulate her.
PV Sindhu is the first Indian to bag this win and she did so by beating Japan’s Nazoumi Okuhara in Switzerland. CMs of both the Telugu states and PM Modi have also congratulated the badminton star in person.
India Secured Independence in 1940: Pawan Kalyan
Actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan regularly lands in soup with his lack of knowledge on many basic aspects.
This time, however, he is getting trolled heavily as he mentioned in his recent speech that India got independence in 1940.
Yes, you have read it right! He said that India secured from freedom from the British rule in the year 1940.
The Jana Sena president caught on record making this blunder mistake.

— Controversy Mama ? (@ControversyMama) September 14, 2019
While slamming the 100 days rule of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Pawan Kalyan in his usual style dismissed the ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme as an achievement of this government.
He went to add that we already have the constitutional provision of the Right to Education since 1940, the day we got Independence.
He added that there is no need for the ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme that grants annual financial assistance of Rs.15000 to each mother who sends her wards to school or college.
Not only that he got the date of our Independence day, but he also erred about the Right to Education act. Article 21 (A) aka Right to Education came into force in 2010.
And we don’t need to mention when we got Independence. With such poor knowledge, Pawan Kalyan talks about all things in a lofty manner.
Pawan Kalyan discontinued his studies after failing in the intermediate examination.
So, trollers are referring to this saying that no wonder he had failed in class 12 with such brain. Social media is full of memes on this topic.
Overseas: Nani’s Gang Leader Doing Good
Hero Nani enjoys good patronage in overseas circuits as his films always have that clean comedy and good content that could be a nice watch on the weekends with family. For that reason, his “Gang Leader” is also expected to take off fantastically but the average reviews generated some doubts.
Including premieres, Nani’s “Gang Leader” has collected $349153 from 179 locations with few locations yet to report on its Day 1 in the USA. That is a huge number for sure as $350K is not a small number considering the no-holiday release.
Until Sye Raa arrives, there are no big films that could actually disrupt Gang leader’s run at the USA box office as Valmiki appears to be a typical mass film that doesn’t cater to the overseas audiences. Using all that advantage, the film might cross the 1 million mark, while $1.5 million mark is required for the breakeven. The film was sold for 6 crores to the overseas market.
Oops! None Will Do Such Scenes Except Nani
Time and again, hero Nani is proving that he is game for certain scenes which other heroes won’t even dare to touch. At a time when most of the star heroes are journeying over super safe projects and scenes that give them elevation all the time, Nani surprises them with his choices.
In the other day’s release Gang Leader, there is a role played by Vennela Kishore who is actually gay. And then Nani has to seduce him by acting gay, and he does that with elan. Oops! we have to say that he just rocked the scene with his dialogue delivery, expressions and moreover, the act didn’t look sleazy at any point of time.
Those who have seen Gang Leader are of the opinion that none other than Nani could pull off such scenes on the screen. Other than him, we also have Vijay Devarakonda able to pull off any such scenes easily as he has done something not similar but braving ones in Arjun Reddy.
On a whole, these scenes also give a thought that maybe films like Andhadun remake and Badai Ho remake should actually feature Nani in the lead. Give thought folks!!
Huge jolt to TRS, BJP breaks into Singareni
The BJP is pulling all the guns to dethrone the ruling TRS party in Telangana. In a fresh setback, the founder president of Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) Kengarla Mallaiah resigned and with this, the TRS-affiliate body TBGKS is split into two groups.
Singareni Collieries is TRS’s stronghold and to split the ruling party supported trade union is a big task. BJP managed to do it successfully.
Media reports inform that Mallaiah has already held talks with Telangana BJP leadership and got proper assurance from T’BJP president Laxman. Getting the support, Mallaiah is likely to join Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, the labour wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in another couple of days.
After resigning to TBGKS, Mallaiah said, he was insulted in the party and even when he complained to TRS high command, they did not bother. The term of current trade union will end in October 2019 and the upcoming elections are going to be a one-on-one battle between BJP backed and TRS backed unions.
Nallamala Issue – Facts & Fears
The ongoing uranium mining issue in and around the region of Nallamala forest is turning up into a debatable topic as it could dimish nearly 20,000 acres of forest land that incorporates both Amrabad Tiger Reserve in Telangana and Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailam tiger reserve in Andhra Pradesh as well. The proposal of exploration of uranium over 83 sq km (20k acres) in Amrabad Tiger reserve was given by the Ministry of Environment as in-principle to the Ministry of atomic energy.
The fear among locals: The permission by the Central government made locals worry and ended up panicked. Some of the tribal people like Chechu’s totally depend upon forest resources and they are in deep distress as this uranium mining could take away their land from them and put an end to their tribal life. The locals near Nallamala said that the government promised a lot while constructing a dam, but nothing has been done. Instead, they come up with uranium issue. The uncertainty of what is happening to their land bring tribes together out of fear.
A threat to wildlife and nature: Moreover, there is a grave danger for Tigers as the uranium mining process can harm them. The catastrophe caused by uranium mining can be labelled as – if Nallamala is gone, soon we all will be gone. The lives of Telangana and Andhra is at stake if uranium mining happens, leaving Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar reservoirs polluted. The mining can adversely affect the serenity and ecology of Nallamala forest ecosystem which happens to be the home for many animals like Tigers and various medicinal herb plants.
Anti-Uranium Campaign begins: Many environmentalists, social activists have joined hands with the locals of Amrabad to stop the disastrous action by the government. All of them, unanimously, planned for an anti-uranium movement followed by padayatras and educational awareness tours. Yesterday, the working president of the TRS, KTR tweeted and assured that he will discuss the issue with the Chief Minister KCR as many, including students, took part in the campaigns against uranium mining.
The government’s point of view: Since India has uranium deposits which are very few in number and also the small deposits cannot meet the electricity requirement, scientists have found new uranium deposits in satates of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The department fo Atomic Energy says that India is in need of using uranium deposits for producing 40,000 megawatts of nuclear power by 2030.
Export of Uranium: Currently India has nuclear agreements with Russia (since the 1990s), Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Canada, Namibia, Nigeria etc. The mentioned countries export uranium to India. From the past few months Australia has agreed to export Uranium to India as Australia is one of the largest uranium exports. Now, the higher deposit of Uranium found in Nallamala is leaving the government perplexed over the concerned issue of locals. Nallamala is spread to five districts of Andhra and two districts of Telangana.
Support from Film fraternity: Actors like Vijay Deverakona, Samantha, Jwala Gutta, Randeep Hooda, Sekhar Kammula and other leading celebrities have stepped forward to campaign against uranium mining. The actors have preached public about the adverse effects of the process on social media and made sure their voices are heard louder. In fact, our strong economy is nothing but a greater well-being of mankind. Protecting our nature is our responsibility. Let us save Nallamala and contribute to a strong economy.
KCR’s pet dog dies, case filed!
A pet dog at Pragathi Bhavan has died and blaming the doctors for this, the police case has been filed. Going into details, an 11 months old Husky which is said to be a pet in Pragathi Bhavan was unwell. On September 10th, dog behaved unfamiliarly and the next day a vet was called.
After examining the Husky, the vet said the dog is suffering with 101 degrees temperature and should be immediately admitted in hospital. On September 11th in the evening hours, the Husky was shifted to Animal Care Clinic in Banjara Hills. However unable to breathe the dog died in the clinic.
Blaming vet Dr. Ranjith and clinic operations Lakshmi, a case has been filed against these two in Banjara Hills police station under Section 429 and 11(4).
MP Revanth Reddy slammed the TRS government for this and added that KCR government is more worried about the dog at Pragathi Bhavan than people of Telangana. All across the state, viral fever cases such as Dengue, Typhoid are being reported in large number over the last few weeks. Though the government is denying, the hospitals run by the government are reporting numerous cases. The opposition blames that TRS sarkar did not take adequate measure to prevent the viral fevers.
Making Video: The Hard Work Behind Saaho
On one side, Saaho might be a loss venture for certain distributors and the film garnered only negative reviews. But the movie made 300+ crores nett from the box office and other rights got sold for 120+ crores, giving all the investment of UV Creations back into their pockets. So who should get the credit for this?
Recently the makers of Saaho have released a Behind The Scenes video of the movie where they have put up visuals of pre-production and the difficulties involved while making this film actually. Actually, the very immediate thought that comes to anyone’s mind after watching this video is how director Sujeeth should be thankful to his team.
He is seen explaining a highly talented team of more than 40 people including Hollywood action designers and skilled storyboard artists. At the same time, Prabhas is also seen giving so many inputs to them. All their hard work together has resulted in this massive movie which minted huge.
If the director is little cautious and has worked on the screenplay part, he would have made it much bigger it. When producers invested almost 300 crores on a young chap like him, surely things should have been dealt bit seriously.
Two Back To Back Cameos For Sukumar
Director Sukumar took almost a year and a half break already before he moves to Allu Arjun’s movie, which might hit cinemas only two years after Rangasthalam. But then, if his fans are missing out, here are his cameos on the silver screen that are enthralling them.
Other day Sukumar has thrown a surprise by making a cameo appearance in director Vikram K Kumar’s Gang Leader. He appeared in the Nani starrer as a film director who buys the novel written by Pencil Parthasarathy, seeking his autograph and later reveals that he actually wants to make this story into a movie.
Then comes Valmiki next Friday, as he is going to appear as a film director again in that Varun Tej starrer. Theory Sukumar will be actually appearing as a judge on a TV show where he gives awards to short filmmakers. Definitely, these appearances are giving those bouts of happiness to his fans.
Meanwhile, Sukumar is getting ready for the launch of his next with Allu Arjun, whose shooting is likely to start from November itself.
