A Big Party Is Pressuring Me To Dissolve Jana Sena: Pawan

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has once again claimed that a big political party is mounting pressure on him to dissolve Jana Sena in them and Pawan made it clear that he will not succumb to pressure. Pawan met Jana Sena leaders at party’s office in Vijayawada and in this meet, he made the above statements.

“For human values and national integration, Jana Sena was formed. I will not bow down to anyone,” said Pawan. He advised party leaders, workers and activists to express their opinion and inner thoughts directly to him instead of saying something on road and infront of media. “This is not Congress party and everyone should be careful using social media,” said Pawan.

“I know my strength and weakness. Like so every leader should get to know about their’s. All Jana Sena members should go and assist the flood hit areas in Andhra Pradesh,” appealed Pawan.

Probably this is for the umpteenth time that Pawan has opened about getting lucrative offers from national parties but he is not revealing the names as usual. It would be interesting if Pawan discloses the names and then it would lead to a huge debate.

‘The Invisible Guest’ is a Spanish movie that is remade in Hindi as “Badla” and “Evaru” in Telugu. The best part of this film is, it is being altered in every language and the alteration is what excites actually.

In the original Spanish film, a lady lawyer comes to extract the truth from the guy who was accused of killing his secret girlfriend. Hindi film Badla deals with a gent lawyer (Amitabh Bachchan) extracting the truth from a lady (Taapsee) who killed her secret boyfriend. In Telugu, we have a corrupt cop (Adivi Sesh) extracting the truth from a rich lady (Regina) regarding the murder. All these have actually a relationship with another character in the film.

In the end, the twist is that the person’s coming up as lawyers in Invisible Guest and Badla, and police in Evaru, are actually related to another death victim. While it is the mother in Spanish Movie, here in Badla it is the father and here in Evaru it is the son. Story is the same, but the relation is being changed.

This time, Bandla Ganesh will be seen in an out and out hilarious role in Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru that is being directed by Anil Ravipudi.

Recently actress Hariteja has shared a selfie she has taken with the ‘train journey’ partners of Sarileru Neekevvaru that corresponds to the 35-minute train episode in the movie. This is the scene where Rashmika Mandanna gets introduced to Mahesh and falls for him, while other fellow travellers make all the fun.

Here comes Bandla Ganesh as “Blade Babji” in this sequence, and his attire reflects his character in the movie. It looks like Anil Ravipudi and Ganesh are making use of the latter’s ‘blade tho neck kosukunta’ comments, and designed the role in the same way. Especially that funky urbane look of the actor with that ‘blade’ locket chain around his neck is giving all the laughs.

In all of his films, Anil Ravipudi makes sure that the comedy quotient never goes down, and hope this one also rallies on the same track.

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will be landing in the US to a tumultuous welcome in a few hours from now, but even before he arrived there, his tour has generated a lot of euphoria among the Telugu NRIs there.

While unprecedented arrangements are being made for his public rally at Dallas Convention Centre on Saturday, including cultural extravaganza and lavish dinner etc, what has sent the Telugu NRIs crazy was a promotional video on Jagan’s US tour.

The video comprising clippings depicting Jagan’s political career, especially the major events of his padayatra, his election campaign and his swearing-in-ceremony as the chief minister, is going viral among the NRIs.

Already, huge hoardings have been erected at vantage points across Dallas welcoming Jagan Mohan Reddy.

KCR to do away with village revenue officers?

If the reports coming from the Telangana government are to be believed, village revenue officers (VRO)s in the state would have to give up their present work and become part of either panchayat raj department or agriculture department.

According to sources, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to do away with the system of VROs, who had been doing all the revenue related work, including maintenance of land records, collection of revenues at the village level, distribution of pattas and overseeing of land transfers.

“In all probability, the VROs would have to move out of their present jobs in the next couple of months,” a source said.

KCR has already gave a hint to this effect during his Independence Day speech, announcing that his government was working on a new Revenue Act, which would be introduced in the coming budget session of the assembly.

He said good governance to people was possible through the administrative reforms only and the existing acts would not be sufficient to offer good governance without giving any opportunity to corruption.

“The archaic and obsolete Revenue Acts have inflicted immense damage to farmers and the people. We have to undo these damages. Hence the government is engrossed in preparing a new revenue Act, which will give no room for corruption or laxity and will offer hassle free services to people and farmers,” he said.

Flood Water Enters Naidu House!

Flood fury spares none and does not show discrimination of those who flout rules, even if it is the house of former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

As has been feared by the officials, water from Krishna river which has been swelling alarmingly due to huge inflows from upstream of the river, has entered the rented residence of the Telugu Desam Party president on the river banks at Vundavalli in Amaravati.

On Friday morning, the flood water inundated the backyard of Naidu’s residence, including the river view point and part of the garden, as the water level at Prakasam barrage has reached 15 feet, with close to 7 lakh cases arriving from the upper stream. Second danger signal was hoisted.

Naidu has already moved to Hyderabad, a safer zone, along with his family members, while the caretakers of his house vacated the groundfloor and shifted his belongings to the first floor.

His security and convoy moved out to Happy Resorts at Mangalagiri and sand bags were put in place to curtail the barrage of water-flow.

The inundated house was earlier served with a notice for vacating as it has flouted norms and did not maintain the maximum flood level (MFL) of 22.6 meters but was constructed at 19 meters which is easily prone for submergence, besides other violations of River Conservation Act, Environment, Green Tribunal laws and bylaws of Capital region master plan.

“Had there not been opening of 70 crest gates of Prakasam Barrage on time, Naidu’s house would have submerged completely. Imagine what would happen if the inflow would be 19 lakh cusecs as it happened a decade ago,” an official said.

“The house and the marooning of it with flood water is a standing testimony to the breach of rules by the building and the stand of the State Government is vindicated,” the official added.

Surprised With ‘Ranarangam’ Talk

Hero Sharwanand said ‘Ranarangam’ movie succeeded 200 percent on technical front and is happy the way the film is doing at the box office. Sharwa was surprised by the way, the film’s talk over the day.

“Generally my films get positive talk in A centers and it takes time to go for B and C centers. This time it happened in reverse. The mass audiences are liking the film and by the end of the day, class audiences too are appreciating the movie,” said Sharwa.

About the collections, Sharwa said he would not like to talk about them but is happy that ‘Ranarangam’ has emerged as the biggest opener in his career.

“We have been telling this is a screenplay oriented film and was made with high technical standards. I received the best and biggest compliments for this film. What else can I expect,” stated Sharwa.

The hero went on to be pleased about the works of cinematographer Divakar Mani and art director Raveendar. “Because of these guys, we got the best output and not to forget the grand production values of Sithara Entertainments,” summed up Sharwa.

Why Spreading Negative Talk On Sye Raa?

Ever since the news of ‘Sye Raa’ Hindi version bought by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Media and Anil Thadani’s AA Films got out, there is huge negativity being spread around this deal by some Telugu media houses. Especially they are writing off this deal, saying that Farhan’s move might misfire.

In the first place, these days every big Telugu film are being dubbed into Hindi at some point of time and planning a parallel release is also being considered. These folks are expressing doubts that KGF worked out for Excel Media due to action content, but Sye Raa might not work as the film is a patriotic drama with a lot of verbose. One wonders if these people have watched the making video of ‘Sye Raa’ or not, but the film promises to have high octane action scenes combined with drama as it happened in the case of Baahubali 1 and 2.

Given a proper number of theatres and placement, making huge from the theatrical release of Sye Raa is not at all a daunting task for the Bollywood distributors. Also, the Telugu media folks started spreading their hatred on the film’s content saying that Surender Reddy is a novice when it comes to canning war dramas.

Well, Rajamouli himself is a fresher to epic war dramas when he made Magadheera but it is a filmmaker’s conviction that actually works on the screen, not just experience alone. Who will anyway benefit from spreading negative talk on Sye Raa Hindi version is one thing they should ask themselves.
