What Could Be Prabhas’s Remuneration?

Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan said to be getting abovde 25 crores in remuneration per film. Pawan Kalyan is not in the mood to come back yet but he may do one or two next year, say some sources.Mahesh after Maharshi, took a percentage in Sarileru Nekevvaru and hence, became a producer. He could be getting more than 40 to 45 crores as his remuneration for doing the film say sources.

Allu Arjun made his home production a state holder in his next #AA19 and that will make him one of the producers. So, a 33 to 35% of the pre-release business amount could go to him out of the share that Geetha Arts get in the film’s business. This could amount to more than Rs. 20 crores as remuneration say sources.

Nani is also thinking about taking a stake pre-release business and Jr. NTR, Ram Charan will be given 20% above their previous films for #RRR for accepting yo work exclusively for the film till the shoot is over and for also working in a multi-starrer for the first time for SS Rajamouli.

With most of the stars looking to become producers or take a percentage in pre-release business which happens in their name, all big star heroes remunerations are close to Rs. 20 crores mark and Nani’s remuneration is close to 8-10 crores per film say trade sources.

But what about Prabhas? Well, the actor recently in an interview said that his friends and family are producing his Saaho, next after that. So, he will take whatever they give him as he cannot demand.

Actually, they have decided to offer him 50% stake in both films pre-release business it seems. Trade sources say that as Baahubali success made Prabhas a Pan-India actor and big star, the remuneration would be biggest in the market.

We would like to confirm one thing for you, all the above details are little foggy and vague because they are said by multiple sources but not by actors or their team. Hence, they could just be rumours too!

Vithika Insults Varun Sandesh In Bigg Boss House

To cash the craze that the couple enjoys in the public, the organizers of Bigg Boss TV show have got them on board as the housemates in the third season. Box Office: Saaho In Safe Zone Already?

Saaho is made on a budget of more than 350 crores say trade sources. Movie being the next film of Prabhas after Baahubali-2, makers did not think about expenditure but quality it seems.So, the budget recovery as become a talking point for the trade pundits. Many thought that the pre-release estimations are not upto the level of the budget.

Now, we hear that with deals from Dubai based distributor for Overseas markets, deal with T-Series in North India and deals in Kerala and Tamil Nadu have recovered close to 280 crores already.

OTT platform digital streaming rights, audio streaming rights for Tamil and Malayalam songs on different platforms have covered Rs. 40 crores for the film, it seems.

So, a total of 320 crores was recovered already and they have stakes in different distributors and they are planning for own distribution in few areas too.

But UV Creations still are facing 30 crores deficit say trade pundits and that is to be recovered as Satellite rights and auxillary rights it seems.T-Series has digital streaming rights for songs and song videos in Hindi, Telugu on YouTube but they don’t have streaming rights for complete movie streaming.

We heard that Amazon Prime paid a big deal for those rights. In any case, Prabhas market is close to 300 crores comfortably say trade pundits after looking at Saaho pre-release business.The other 30 crores will also be recovered soon, estimate trade sources and totally, movie is in safe zone prior to theatrical release say the sources. Even as the excitement around the making video intensifies, the latest is that the teaser of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited film SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy is set to release on August 20!

What’s more, the teaser is set to get s major value addition in the form of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s voiceover.

Apparently, the actor was very excited when approached to give his voice for his elder brother’s prestigious flick, wherein he will be introducing the subject of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

Our sources informed, “There are many legends who are recognized. But there is one warrior who is not recognized by anybody. This story is about Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy”, is the dialogue that Pawan said in the teaser.

All set to have a massive release across languages, the film is directed by Surender Reddy and is a production of Ram Charan on his Konidela Production Company banner.

The film releases on October 2.

Farhan Akhtar and his business partner Ritesh Sidhvani seem to have hit on a goldmine, literally.After making more money on the Hindi dubbed version of Kolar Goldmine Films(KGF) than they made on all their productions so far (just for the record, Farhan and Ritesh’s cult film Dil Chahta Hai was a boxoffice flop) Akhtar and Sidhwani have now gone and bought the Hindi rights of the big Telugu historical bio-pic Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which has Chiranjeevi playing the title role.

The film also boasts of a stellar cast that includes Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan.Interestingly Mr Bachchan who has only a guest appearance in this ambitious wannabe epic is mentioned right on top of the credit titles in the Hindi announcement of the Telugu magnum opus.

However the endeavour to woo Hindi audiences into a Telugu-language period drama may not work the same magic for Akhtar and Sidhwani as KGF.KGF worked mainly because of the action scenes, never seen before in Indian cinema. On the otherhand Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy with its heavily colloquial dialogue-oriented format of presentation is another ballgame altogether.

This time trade experts in Bollywood feel Farhan Akhtar and his partner may have bitten more than they can chew.For one, this is a vehicle primarily to aggrandize and amplify Chiranjeevi’s star power. All the other stalwarts including Amitabh Bachchan who have agreed to be part of the film have done so only on the behest of Chiranjeevi.

Secondly, unlike KGF this time the action will NOT speak louder than words. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will be a verbose film with extreme culture-specificity in the dialogues. This time there won’t be the same visceral connect as an Baahubali or KGF.

Lastly, the director Surender Reddy has no experience in making historicals. How do we know he is capable of ‘making history’?

Krishna forcing Naidu to vacate Undavalli House!

TDP president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu continues to stay at Undavalli House constructed on the banks of river Krishna in Amaravathi.Naidu has been staying in this house since 2016, when he was CM of AP and shifted AP administration from Hyderabad to Amaravathi.

The YSRCP government termed this house as an ‘illegal structure’ and threatened to demolish the house as it was constructed encroaching the river bed.The government issued notices to Naidu asking him to vacate the house.

To create a sense of fear in Naidu, the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy even demolished Praja Vedika recently, a convention hall constructed by Naidu when he was CM to hold government meetings, adjacent to his Undavalli house, terming it as ‘illegal structure’ built on river bed.

Despite all this, Naidu did not vacate the house and continues to stay in it. However, Krishna river is now forcing Naidu to vacate the house.The huge floods in Krishna river for the past one week has flooded the entire area of Naidu’s house in Undavalli.

The floodwater almost touched the walls and steps of Naidu’s house after officials opened 70 gates of Krishna barrage to release water downstream with huge inflows coming into the barrage following heavy rains in upstream Karnataka.Feared by heavy floods, the security officials already shifted Naidu’s convoy and other vehicles to a safer place.

If the floods do not recede in the next few hours, there is a threat of Naidu’s house completely getting inundated and washed away in floods.If that happens, Naidu will be forced to vacate his house and move to a safer place.

If that happens, it will also send a message that what YSRCP government cannot do to vacate Naidu’s house has been done by river Krishna and also send a strong message that nobody is powerful before Mother Nature.

Opinion: Ignore at your peril

Is it an irony or the outcome of a well-thought plan? KCR’s daughter Kavitha after becoming an MP in 2014 spoke on issues of national importance such as India’s defence budget, LOC and Kashmir.Needless to say, those comments were highly contrarian to prevailing sentiment and angered the nationalists.

For instance, Kavitha said that Kashmir and Telangana were happy, independent nations before being forcibly annexed to the Indian Union.For that matter, the whole of India was divided then into separate kingdoms before Sardar Patel integrated them all into the motherland.

Similarly, Kavitha said the money being spent on the defence budget of Kashmir should be diverted to other development activities and LOC should be made a permanent border. This might be practical advice to some but is not consistent with the self-respect of the nation.

Will a person abandon his parents and divert the money being spent on them to buy a new washing machine or air conditioner? Practical, isn’t it?Five years down the line since she made those comments, is it a surprise that Kavitha was defeated in her own constituency of Nizamabad by a BJP candidate?

The poor thing is apparently so shell-shocked at her defeat that she is hardly making any public appearances nowadays. Her last appearance was when she offered Bonalu at the Mahankali temple.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t play the ‘anti-Andhra card’ again, five years after Telangana was created.

In 2019, had Chandrababu Naidu not made an appearance in Telangana, one wonders what the outcome might have been? In 2024, though, it will only be the plank of ‘development’ that KCR can bank on.The Congress and Kodandaram have proved to be unsuccessful in exposing the limitation of KCR’s reign to the Telangana public. The major challenge will therefore be from the BJP.

KCR got TV9 and Andhra Jyothi banned and his son speaks about ‘freedom of speech’ and other nonsense.
KCR said that BJP is not a force to reckon with; an idiotic statement given that his own daughter was routed in her constituency.

The BJP’s ideology of Hindutva cut across regional lines and appeals to the Hindu voter directly.
The MIM keeps making derogatory statements regularly and not a single TRS leader speaks out against them.The BJP on the other hand has been quick to retaliate and threaten the MIM brigade and Akbaruddin with dire consequences.

Yogi Adityanath even went to the extent of saying that the Owaisi brothers will have to flee Hyderabad like the Nizam if the BJP comes to power in the State. Naturally, all this is appealing to the Hindu population.Therefore, if the TRS think that Amit Shah and Modi are not a force to be taken seriously, it will be doing so at its own peril.

After all, this is a Party which formed the government in Kashmir and Tripura, of all places.

Story Behind Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikuntapuramlo

Trivikram picks up titles that are different from the regular trend, be it “Attarintiki Daaredi” or “Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava”. He has done it again.

As GreatAndhra.com broke the news yesterday, Allu Arjun and Trivikram’s film has been titled “Ala Vaikunthapuramlo”. Since then fans have been wondering what the title stands for.

In “Attarintiki Daaredi” we have seen Nadiya’s character changing the dynamics of the movie. The film entirely revolved around Naditya and her house. The residence is a recurrent theme that we see in Trivikram’s movies.

In this film as well, there is a female character who is being played by Tabu. She resides in a house named “Vaikuntha Puram”. In Pawan Kalyan’s “Jalsa”, the house’s name is Jalsa. Here “Vaikuntha Puram” is the name of the residence of Tabu.

The house set is being built with a whopping Rs 5 crores.

Entire story revolves around this house. That is why Trivikram fixed this title.

And of course, “Ala Vaikunthapuramlo” is also the famous line from the verse in Gajendra Moksham of Pothana’s “Bhagavatam”.

Ranarangam Director Sets New Trend

Ram Charan Finalizing Deals for Sye Raa

Ram Charan recently went to Mumbai to close a deal for the Hindi version of “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy”.
He convinced Anil Tadani of ‘AA Arts’ to buy the rights for the Hindi version. Anil Tadani is the one who bought the rights of “Baahubali” movies in association with Karan Johar.

Now he has bagged the rights and is releasing the film with Faran Akthar’s Excel Movies.Similarly, Ram Charan is also closing the deals for other languages. He is personally involving in the business and promotion of “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy”.

He has already spoken to Karan Johar to introduce “Sye Raa” to the Mumbai press. An event will be held next week in Mumbai.He is also trying to invite Rajinikanth for the Tamil version’s event in Chennai.

“Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” is produced by Ram Charan on Konidela Productions banner with whopping Rs 250 Cr. The movie’s overseas business has already been finalized.
