Kesineni Nani Differs With Naidu’s Decision

TDP MP Kesineni Nani has voiced out a different opinion in contrast with party’s line on Kashmir issue. While TDP and party chief Chandrababu had supported the Centre’s move to revoke Article 370 and Article 35A and supported the bill in Parliament, Kesineni Nani took objection to the manner in which Jammu and Kashmir were bifurcated.

Taking to Twitter, Nani compared the bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir with the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that the voices of AP were suppressed then and now the voices of Kashmir were suppressed. He opined that the prominent Kashmir leaders Farooq Abdulla, Mehabooba, Azad, Omar Abdulla should have given an opportunity to put their argument over Kashmir issue.

Kesineni Nani recalled his bond with Kashmir. He said he was surprised by the way the people of Kashmir receive and shower their love, affection. Nani was all praise for Kashmiris obedience and politeness. He said Kashmir is heaven on earth. Nani concluded saying that the time will tell whether BJP’s decision on Kashmir is right or wrong. He said one has to wait and watch whether the decision would yield good results or bad results.

Overall, Nani’s frank opinions are irking TDP as Nani’s views are opposing Naidu’s decisions.

Bandla Turns Blade Ganesh For Sarileru Neekevvaru

People still haven’t forgotten actor-producer Bandla Ganesh’s antics during Telangana state elections last year. The then Congress leader infamously said, “Blade tho gonthu koskunta” (I’ll slit my throat) if the Congress-led Mahakootami lost in the elections. Needless to say, Ganesh was trolled heavily after Congress’ defeat and he eventually quit politics.

It’s already known that Bandla Ganesh is making his acting comeback after several years with Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru. Apparently, the comedian’s name in the movie is ‘Blade Ganesh’. It looks like director Anil Ravipudi is inspired by Bandla Ganesh’s blade episode.

The latest buzz is that Anil Ravipudi has penned a hilarious episode featuring Bandla Ganesh. The shooting for his scenes is underway already. Given the kind of sensation the ‘blade episode’ had created last year, one can be sure that the same will be repeated in the movie next Pongal.

Rakul’s Kiss Scene With Jhansi Blurred?

Manmadhudu 2 is making a buzz in Tollywood right now with the release setting its sight on this Friday. The film got certified with U/A today and Akkineni Nagarjuna explained that the bits of kisses in the movie have led to a little ‘A’ side of the Censor.

Of course, Nagarjuna being a lady perfumes maker in the movie, and for the kind of kisses he has done, the U/A is justified. But what wonders is that a ‘cut’ issued to the film is now raising the eyebrows. Apparently, the Censor Board has asked the makers of the movie to blur out the kiss scene of Rakul and Jhansi in the film. And that has shocked many now.

One wonders what kind of kiss that is, and why did it take place between Rakul and Jhansi. As the bits are asked to be blurred, it is creating more curiosity now. At the same time, there are lots of English cuss words like f*ck and b*tch that were extensively used in the movie, and they all got beeped now. Sorry, they are muted!!

On the other hand, we hear that Rakul’s glamour treat also led to this rating from the Censor Board.

Prabhas Entered The Scene To Stop The Big Clash?

Saaho makers announced nearly 8 months ago that their film will be released on August 15th, for the Independence Day weekend. This prompted all other producers to schedule their movie releases according to Saaho’s release.

However, Saaho has been delayed by 15 days and is now slated to be released on August 30th. This unexpected delay has disrupted the release plans of other movies, as Saaho makers didn’t consult the producers of all the movies that are locked for an August 30th release.

Naturally, several producers, whose movies were slated to release on August 30th, were very upset with Saaho makers. Apparently, they even approached the Film Chamber, asking it to convince Saaho makers to change the film’s release date.

Had the producers didn’t budge and the stalemate situation continued, Saaho would have moved to September 2nd. Noticing that the situation could lead to a big clash, Prabhas is said to have decided to enter the scene and pacify the upset producers.

Later, he took to Instagram and calmed down all the producers, actors and directors by thanking them for rescheduling their movies to accommodate Saaho. Well, just a ‘thank you’ post from Prabhas has averted a big clash.

Nannapaneni quits her post, finally!

It has been more than two months since the YSR Congress party under the leadership of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power in Andhra Pradesh.

Naturally, all the political appointments made by the previous Telugu Desam Party government headed by N Chandrababu Naidu would become defunct.

Almost all the leaders who had been appointed as chairpersons for various corporations, commissions and boards by the Naidu government had resigned from the posts.

Even Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav had no option but to resign though he tried to cling to his post for quite some time.

On Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari was perhaps the last person to relinquish her post.

She submitted her resignation letter to AP Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan along with a report of the commission’s functioning in the last three years.

She said she had done her best to do justice to the womenfolk and prevent atrocities against women.

“I stood by women in distress and came to their rescue. What I observed during my tenure is that if the women have the support of their families, they can resist the atrocities against them,” Nannapaneni said.

According to sources, YSRC official spokesperson Vasireddy Padma is most likely to be appointed as the new Mahila Commission chairperson soon.

Rakul Preet Singh takes belly dancing lessons

Actress Rakul Preet Singh is taking belly dancing lessons for her next film “Marjaavaan”. She says getting all the moves right for the intricate dance form is not easy.

“The moves are very rapid, so you need to be quick and yet make it look smooth. That is not easy,” Rakul said, of her preparations for a song in the movie.

Rakul says belly dancing has also become an additional form of workout because it helps keep her fit.

“At the end of the day, you get a well-toned sexy stomach, so it is worth the effort,” said the actress, adding that she tries to ensure she she gets time for belly dancing daily.

“Of course, it depends on my schedule, but I do it whenever I get free time. You never know enough (of any art), and if you can find time for it, you can always work on your skills and try to be a better version of yourself. That’s the idea,” she said.

Directed by Milap Zaveri, “Marjaavaan” is an action-thriller featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh.

Priyanka, Nick’ New house in LA to Cost Rs 141 Cr?

Actress Priyanka Chopra and her singer husband Nick Jonas are house hunting in Los Angeles’ Bel-Air and Beverly Hills areas as per a TMZ report.

The power couple have set a budget of whopping $20 million(Rs 141.83 crore) for their new home, of which $6.5 million Nick has already arranged through the sale of his luxurious home in the Beverly Hills Post Office area.

The TMZ report stated that Nick Jonas, who is worth a reported $25 million, sold his old place last month and it wasn’t even officially listed.

Nick’s old place, spread over 4,129 square feet, had five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms while the bonus amenities included an infinity pool and sweeping views of the hills and canyons, reports TMZ.

As of now, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are looking for a perfect place in the Bel-Air and Beverly Hills areas.

On the work front, Nick Jonas, who reunited with his brothers Kevin and Nick to reform their band, the Jonas Brothers.

Nick along with Kevin and Joe are looking forward to begin the Happiness Begins Tour in Miami on August 8, which will continue across the US, Canada, Mexico, England and various parts of Europe.

Priyanka Chopra is awaiting the world premiere of her film The Sky Is Pink at the Toronto International Film Festival come September.

The film, which she co-produced with Siddharth Roy Kapur, also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Shonali Bose-directed The Sky Is Pink will open in Indian cinemas in October.
