After a gap, Jana Sena party and its chief Pawan Kalyan is looking to be back in business. The actor turned politician has, on Monday, held a meeting with Party Political Affairs Committee team to discuss various key issues. Revealing the details of this meeting, senior leader Nadendla Manohar spoke to media and said that Jana Sena will always stay connected with AP people and continue to work on public issues. Party leaders who took part in press meet include Nadendla Manohar, MLA Rapaka Vara Prasad and Naga Babu.
The meeting with PAC team, which took place in Vijayawada party office, was conducted for the first time after the polls. The former speaker of united AP said: “With a view to strengthen our party from the ground level, we are considering suggestions from everyone. Pawan Kalyan has complimented party workers who have put in all their efforts in electioneering and gave us a call to work for party building from field level.”
In the first week of August, Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan will pay condolence visit to family members of a staunch JSP supporter who lost his life working for the party in Bhimavaram, Nadendla Manohar has disclosed it speaking to the media.
Kajal Drops Off As Producer!
Other day after looking at the ‘Pilla Picture Perfect’ song from Ranarangam movie, there are a couple of things anyone could notice. Firstly Kajal Aggarwal is not looking as ravishing as she used to be, and then she’s stuck between going too glamorous and going de-glam. This has after-effects too.
Actually, Kajal wants to turn producer and make director Prashant Varma’s Awe! in Hindi as well. After dropping that idea, she has become a producer for the same director’s next film in Telugu which will feature her in the lead. Though Kajal thought that she will join as a sleeping partner with Pellichoopulu fame Raj Kandukuri’s production house, the latest buzz is that she dropped that idea too.
To be honest, if one has to turn a producer, they have to take up lots of responsibility including that of investing money into the project. Or simply you have to wait until the end of the film and make the sales happen, in order to take your cut. But Kajal’s father is said to have advised her not to involve in all this stuff, rather taking her remuneration and walk out of the film once shooting is done.
Also if Kajal starts producing, surely other producers might not offer her big remunerations, and they might ask her to work on a share basis. And to promote the film rigorously, she has to work harder than what she is doing now. Stuck between all these things, we hear Kajal dropped off from being the backbone of a movie.
Another side, she will continue as a lead girl in the movie, says a source.

Apparently, one blockbuster is going to change the mindset of a leading actor forever. Some start to behave like superstar and end up in a disastrous route, while few go slow by understanding the process and hype, and slowly build a successful career.
The super success of RX100 has made her Karthikeya so excited that he has signed films back to back. First, he has come up with Hippi movie, saying that he got upset with people calling him as a love-failure hero and hence did the playboy stuff. He went on parading his six pack body sans the shirt at pre-release event, but nothing backed his antics, as the film flopped big time.
Now it seems like the first taste of a bitter flop after scoring a super blockbuster has hit Karthikeya quite enough. At the pre-release event of his latest movie Guna 369, he has toned town all these antics, appearing composed and decent in a ‘silk’ shirt and lungi. Staying simple and humble all the way, he has presented himself in a new way.
Seems like the change in body language is something learnt from the previous flop and such introspection will surely help him big time down the road.
Rumour: Complaint On Prabhas Taken Lightly
There will be issues popping up between directors, actors and producers at various times, and to facilitate the discussion we have unions like Movie Artists Association, Directors Association and Producers Union. There are many other unions too, but sometimes these unions simply cover up some major news too.
A week ago, we hear that a couple of assistant directors who are working on Prabhas’ Saaho are said to have approached the Telugu Film Directors Association with a unique complaint. As per the word, Saaho makers under the instructions of Prabhas are said to have roped in more Assistant Directors (ADs) from Mumbai but not from Tollywood.
Complaining that they are losing livelihood if ADs are also imported from Bollywood, like how they get heroines and character artists, couple of persons are said to have turned up with proofs. But the Chief Members of the association have pacified them by saying that Saaho is a big film and Prabhas is trying to take it to a national level with all the might. And they have asked these Telugu ADs to cool down.
Well, acquiring talents from various languages will not be an issue for sure, but local talents should be equally encouraged. Hope that is happening.
#BiggBoss S03 E09: All The Big Fish Nominated
The real game of Bigg Boss stars when the contestants open in the confession room about other contestants. And when they nominate, though the contestant’s voice is not known to others, the crores of audiences And this sets the game in motion, because the audience will now take sides based on the inner-self of these contestants.
Some contestants sounded cruel, some genuine and some innocent, but they are all having their own reasons to nominate someone from the house. Before nominating, most of them said, Himaja is moody, Varun Sandesh is aggressive, Jaffer is silent, Sreemukhi is dominating, Vithika and Mahesh are egoistic, Punarnavi has no self-control.
While everyone has nominated two others, Baba Bhaskar has created a scene by not nominating any and prolonged the discussion until Bigg Boss threatened him to nominate the whole house for the vote out. And that led to the choreographer nominating both Vithika and Rahul for the same.
With that, who was thought off as the big fish of the house including Sreemukhi, Himaja, Jaffer, Mahesh, Varun Sandesh, Vithika, Punarnavi and Rahul Sipligunj got nominated for eviction this week. We have to see whose fate gets scrapped off and who gets saved.

Puri Jagannadh is back in limelight. He has bounced back with “iSmart Shankar” which is a resounding success.He once ruled the Telugu film industry as the number one director. But his last films bombed and his career and financial status were in danger.“iSmart Shankar” has changed his fortunes and all the leading stars from Tollywood called him and congratulated him.
He says, “I got calls from all the stars. Ram Charan praised me and my work. He called personally. Rana, Chaitanya, Akhil, and Sumanth too called me and congratulated me. Even though Prabhas didn’t watch the film, he made a call to my phone to express how happy he is with the success I got. After a long time, I have got so many calls from the leading stars.”
However, he didn’t mention Mahesh Babu’s name. Mahesh Babu didn’t call him or congratulate.Puri recently made comments against Mahesh saying that the superstar works with the directors who deliver hits.
He also said that he would not work with Mahesh Babu again as he has a character. This has created a furor.

Sivaji is a name that is quite familiar now to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
As an actor, he had a decent run before taking the plunge into politics. Yet, people were surprised to see the kind of media space he got in prime channels such as TV9.It was then revealed that Sivaji was nothing but a stooge of Ravi Prakash and both of them were trying to bring the TDP back to power because of caste-affiliation.
On the eve of elections, Sivaji invited the media and gave a ‘power point’ presentation; the gist of which was this: ‘TDP rule is the only option for Telugus and voting for YSRCP is to be avoided at all costs’.It was a presentation packed with complete lies and earned the wrath of both the media and the public.
Recently, speaking on a pro-Kamma channel, Sivaji said he was being harassed because of political motives.
And here’s what he said, “Ravi Prakash (TV9) and I are good friends. Out of friendship, he transferred 40,000 shares in TV9 to me. But I did not want to take those shares free of cost. So, I paid Rs 20 lakh to Ravi Prakash.”
This means the great actor Sivaji got shares in TV9 at the price of Rs 50 a share. The proper word would have been ‘benami’. That would lend authenticity to his ‘fairy tales’.Otherwise, what kind of friendship would make Ravi Prakash offer 40,000 shares free of cost to this joker?
But it now seems as if this man will continue to irritate us on the small screen because the ‘yellow media’ have adopted him.
Rakul’s Career Heading towards Climax?
Rakul Preet Singh is nos making all the noise thanks to the teasers and trailers of Nagarjuna starrer “Manmadhudu 2” in which she appeared in a bold avatar. This is her big-ticket movie in Tollywood.
Even if this romantic entertainer turns out to be a hit, she is unlikely to see her career zooming ahead in Telugu films. Especially top young stars are not showing much interest to pair up with her.
Her choice of films is one of the reasons.
She committed blunder mistake of pairing up with senior stars like Ajay Devgn (“De De Pyaar De”) and Nagarjuna (“Manmadhudu 2”) who are in their 50’s and 60’s respectively.She has now been branded as an actress ideally suited for senior stars.
The other mistake she has committed in the recent past is signing up Shankar’s “Indian 2”. She will pair up with Siddharth who himself is struggling in his career. All these decisions are affecting her prospects. Adding misery to her woes, the new actresses are giving tough competition.
For Allu Arjun’s next film “Icon”, the makers are looking for several other actresses but not considering Rakul Preet Singh at all. They have almost finalized Raashi Khanna as other leading actresses are busy.
At present, she doesn’t have any big hero movies in her kitty as far as Tollywood is concerned.
Maybe she would become another Shriya who regularly gets to pair up with senior actors like Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, and Balakrishna.

Dear Comrade may not have lived up to expectations and might as well go down as an average grosser at the box office.But this film has put Vijay Deverakonda up there amongst the highest paid actors of Telugu Cinema.
According to sources, Vijay Deverakonda was paid Rs. 10 crore as remuneration for Dear Comrade.Producers were happy to shell out big bucks to Vijay after witnessing the mega success of Geetha Govindam.
Later when Vijay was sceptical about completing the film, they had offered thirty percent share in the profits in addition to the promised remuneration.Vijay took over the reins of Dear Comrade and decided to release it in four languages and also has taken care of promotional campaign.
The film has been a profitable one to its makers as the making cost was estimated to be around Rs. 30 crore including Vijay’s remuneration.Making costs were recovered through theatrical rights of all four languages and it fetched superb deals for digital and satellite rights too.
Hence, irrespective of its box office outcome, Dear Comrade will remain closer to Vijay’s heart as it made him richer than ever.
Bigg Boss 3: Tamanna Creates Rifts Right Away!
Bigg Boss didn’t waste any time to introduce his ‘special’ wild card contestant in the house.Transwoman Tamanna Simhadri entered the show right on the Monday morning when the contestants are happily dancing to the early morning song.
They were visibly shocked to see Tamanna Simhadri join the party, but they have quickly recovered from it and welcomed her in the house. Tamanna also didn’t waste to mark her territory.
After keenly watching the first week episodes she realized that Baba Bhaskar, Mahesh Vitta and Jaffar are the crowd’s favorites.
Tamanna tried to create rifts in the house by saying that Mahesh Vitta wasn’t supposed to apologize when Vithika and Varun Sandesh were at fault.
The housemates had put the fight behind and are back to being friends until Tamanna reignited it.
Mahesh Vitta who said that he would have reacted the same as Varun Sandesh if he was in his place and apologized to him has nominated Varun and Vithika for the same reason.

Srimukhi and Himaja seem to be the main targets as they got five votes against them. Although the group looks to have become friends, inputs from Tamanna might cause the trouble.
YSRCP MLA’s son hits traffic inspector
Hyderabad: Jaggayyapet constituency YSRCP MLA Samineni Udaya Bhanu’s son, Samineni Prasad was booked in a case by Madhapur police for misbehaving and allegedly kicking Madhapur traffic inspector on Monday night.
The incident is said to have happened following an argument at the Hitex traffic signal when the vehicle in which Prasad was travelling was stopped by a traffic constable.
Traffic inspector B Rajagopal Reddy who was also at the spot intervened when Prasad got enraged and kicked him.
Following a complaint from the traffic police personnel, a case was booked against Prasad and he was taken into custody.
Madhapur inspector S Venkat Reddy said that Prasad misbehaved with the traffic police and a case has been booked against him.
Cafe Coffee Day Founder And Krishna’s S-I-L Missing
BENGALURU: VG Siddhartha, the founder of the popular chain Cafe Coffee Day and son-in-law of former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna, has gone missing from near a river in Mangaluru in Karnataka, the police say. He was last seen on a bridge over the Netravati river in the coastal town, according to reports.
The police have launched a massive search operation near the 1-km-long bridge; divers are scanning the muddy river. Cops on inflatable boats have joined the search.
Mr Siddhartha’s driver claims that the businessman got off the bridge and walked away.
Karnataka BJP leader Jnanendra told reporters the businessman asked the driver to wait but when he didn’t return for an hour, the driver got anxious and informed the police.
The BJP leader said Mr Siddhartha’s father is unwell and is in a hospital in Mysuru.
“I am very shocked that our friend, a very good man, who has given so thousands of jobs, is missing since yesterday night. All sorts of possibilities are there – might have got into another car, accidentally fell into water. We pray for his safety,” said former Congress minister UT Khader, who had gone to the bridge over the Netravati river to see the search operation.
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa visited the Bengaluru home of BJP leader SM Krishna this morning. Top leaders DK Shivakumar and BL Shankar from Mr Krishna’s former party, the Congress, also visited him. A large number of leaders and well-wishers have also gathered at his home.

His family has been in the coffee-growing business for more than 130 years, according to his profile page on the website of consultancy firm Mindtree, where he is a non-executive director.
