Eliminated Bigg Boss Contestant Kept In Star Hotel?

People associated with Bigg Boss and those who closely follow the making of this reality show, do know that the episodes of Saturday and Sunday are filmed on Saturday itself. And the contestants and host will make choosing different costumes for the two episodes, in order to make it look like they were shot on different days.

Guess what, after shooting the two episodes, surely the eliminated contestant has to walk out of the Bigg Boss set in Annapurna Studios and by Sunday morning, the name of eliminated contestant used to get leaked. But now, to avoid such leakages, the organisers of the show are taking a special measure, to make sure that they will hide the eliminated contestant.

After Saturday night’s episode, the face and body of the eliminated contestant will be covered up and they will be moved to a car. Later they will be taken to a star hotel in Hyderabad to spend their entire Saturday night and Sunday. Only family members will be allowed to speak to them, but others will not be allowed. After the show starts getting aired on Sunday, this contestant will be relieved.

As leakages are feeding trolls big time, Star MAA and their Bigg Boss producers are said to have taken this step.

VP Naidu breaks down remembering Jaipal Reddy

New Delhi: Remembering 40 years of personal association with late Congress leader S. Jaipal Reddy, Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu broke down as he made obituary reference on the passing away of the former member of the House.

“For 40 years, he had been a friend, a senior and also at times he used to guide me because I am six years younger to him,” Naidu recalled time spent with him and said that his knowledge, depth of understanding and mastery over various languages were remarkable.

Former Union Minister and Congress leader from Telangana, Jaipal Reddy passed away at the age of 77 early on Sunday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad.

Reddy was a member of the Lok Sabha five times, four-time MLA and two-time Rajya Sabha member.

The House mourned the death of Reddy and observed silence as a mark of respect.

The Chairman remembered his days in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly when he shared bench with Jaipal Reddy and raised people’s cause. The two used to discuss various issues over breakfast before the sittings of the House started.

Naidu said that in the passing away of Jaipal Reddy, the country has lost a veteran parliamentarian and an outstanding orator, and also an able administrator.

Jagan’s liquor shops closure didn’t stop ‘drinking’!

If Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy believes that he can stop people from consuming alcohol if he shuts down liquor shops in state, better think twice.This is because the liquor consumption in AP has only increased instead of decreasing after Jagan closed 700 liquor shops after he became CM.

Prior to Jagan became CM, the AP had 4,380 shops. After Jagan became CM, he announced to implement ‘liquor ban’ in AP in a phased manner.With this, 700 liquor shops downed shutters after they did not apply for renewal of their licences.Moreover, Jagan also launched a crackdown against belt shops (illegal liquor outlets) in AP.

With this, everyone thought that the liquor consumption will come down in AP. But, it turned out to be otherwise as the liquor sales increased by 5% in July 2019 when compared with July 2018.Beer sales increased by 26%, only whisky/ brand sales decreased by 8 per cent. This data has been officially released by AP excise department.

Overall liquor sales in AP increased to Rs 1,670 crore in July 2019 against Rs 1,453 crore in July 2018, a rise of 14.93%.This shows that the closing down of liquor shops in a phased manner over the next four years to implement complete liquor ban in AP, will not prevent AP people from consuming alcohol.

They will purchase even more liquor from available shops in AP for the next four years and purchase liquor from neighbouring states after total prohibition is implemented by Jagan in the fifth year of his term.

Jagan’s move will only deny liquor income to AP government while fetching additional revenue to Telangana and other neighbouring states as AP people will not stop drinking just because Jagan had imposed liquor ban.

Then what Jagan will achieve with his liquor ban has now become a million-dollar question.

The actress’ last couple of months at the fitness center have been anything but easy.According to a recent report by a Mumbai tabloid, Janhvi, who has been juggling between the shoots of Kargil Girl and RoohiAfza, is underdoing significant weight changes for the two films.

While the actress gained six kilos for the Gunjan Saxena biopic as the film demands her to look “slightly plump,” she had to shed almost 10 kilos for the Rajkummar Rao-starrer horror comedy. And guess what! Before beginning the Georgia schedule of Kargil Girl, the 22-year-old will have to gain muscle again.

“She is working out six days a week, for two to three hours daily. For the first two days, she does EMS [Electrical Muscle Stimulation] and the remaining four days are dedicated to pilates. She has a back injury because of which her training has to be monitored,” Janhvi’s trainer Namrata Purohit has been quoted in the report as saying.

“Janhvi has a sweet tooth. So, my mother makes these healthy laddoos with jaggery and nuts. Ideally, she is allowed one a day, but she gulps down three of them,” she added.

The premiere day collection of Vijay Deverakonda’s “Dear Comrade” has surprised all. It took more than 300k dollars from the premiere shows at a time when Telugu films are struggling to get even decent openings in the USA.

Of late, the market is in recession mode. Given such massive opening on the premiere day, one expected that the film would easily cross $1 million mark in its first weekend.

But the Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika starrer saw a steep fall on Friday after the reviews came out. Reviews and mixed talk have affected the film.

The Saturday collection was too low and the Sunday’s trend was also similar. Thus the romantic drama closed its weekend gross under $700k. Had the film got positive talk and the good reviews, it would have touched $1.2 million.
