Naidu spent Rs 39 cr on foreign trips, Jagan orders inquiry!
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered yet another inquiry on former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
This time on Naidu wasting Rs 39 crore public money on his foreign trips during his five year term as CM between 2014 and 2019.
Industries minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy informed Leglslative Assembly today that Naidu, his family members and his coterie of officials have enjoyed foreign trips by spending public money in the name of ‘official meetings’ to meet investors and seek investments into AP.
He said their visit was aimed to enjoy vacation at the cost of public money and their visits fetched nothing to AP.
Gautam Reddy said a cabinet sub committee is already probing Naidu’s foreign trips and the government will also order an independent inquiry into the issue.
However, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who was present in the Assembly strongly condemned the allegations levelled by YSRCP government that he wasted public money on foreign trips.
“I worked every day from morning 7 am till night 11 pm to develop AP. My foreign visits were aimed to build ‘brand AP’ and attract investments. I could attract lakhs of crores of rupees of investments globally into AP in the last five years. I could develop a goodwill for AP among national and international investors with my foreign trips,” Naidu remarked.
Naidu argued that if spending Rs 39 crore for foreign visits was wrong, what about PM Modi spending thousands of crores of rupees on his foreign trips during the past five years.
Gautam Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu created a record in the country of visting maximum countries by any CM so far.
The Power Of ‘Horror-Comedy’

On Monday, a hit film like Oh Baby collected Rs 53,712 at a small town in Andhra region, while all other films including Brochevarevaru Ra, Spider-Man Telugu, Kalki, Dorasani and Rajdooth made money between Rs 16-17 thousand. Shockingly, Ninu Veedanu Needanu Nenu beats them all, as the film makes Rs 63,684 thousand. How is this even possible?
While Sandeep Kishan’s Ninu Veedani Needanu Nenu garnered only negative reviews, the film is doing good at the box office because of its horror content, say trade analysts. Lack of any other movies and horror comedy being the best entertainment compared to other average-talk films, made Sandeep’s film ring registers. Hope the talented hero is not reading this happening as a true box office success taking that the film is a classic in its own way.

Finally, Samantha bid goodbye to Oh Baby!
Two weeks before the release of the film, from meeting YouTube channels to TV channels, attending TV shows to live events, no big starlet would do it just like that in Tollywood, though Bollywood is following that from a very long time.
We have to say that Samantha has changed the notion of marketing a film once again as she did hefty promotions for her ‘Oh Baby’. Ram’s Absence From iSmart Promotions Raises Eyebrows
Ram is not seen anywhere in media as iSmart Shankar gets ready for release on Thursday. The actor is said to have left for a holiday without promoting his film.
Every actor takes a brief break after each film, but they make sure to promote the movie well at least until the first weekend. But Ram is missing at the key moment of a movie’s promotional campaign.
The film got delayed a bit, which might have clashed with Ram’s Holiday plans, but he could have made time for promoting the film as it is an important movie for him.
He is going through a bad phase now and Ram is in dire need of a hit like his director Puri Jagannadh.
Luckily, the film has created enough buzz to make the film buffs book the tickets in advance even before the verdict is out.
However, iSmart Shankar must open to good word of mouth why because any negative feedback will affect the film’s prospects given Puri’s horrendous recent track record.
Ram’s absence is already raising eyebrows, but Puri and Charmi are flaunting big smiles as if they are pretty confident about the movie’s result.
Who Is Behind Nani?
Beleaguered TDP is going through one of its worst phases. It is receiving a set back after set back. First, it lost its crucial Rajya Sabha MPs to the BJP. Even as BJP claiming that as many as 18 of TDP MLAs are in touch with the party, an internal war within TDP has been unleashed leaving many shocked.
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani had first turned down Chandrababu Naidu’s offer to be the TDP whip post in parliament. He didn’t stop there. He took to social media to announce it and kept taking potshots over the issues in the party. He also credited Devineni Uma for Kodali Nani’s ministry. Indirectly, Nani had blamed Devineni Uma for TDP’s defeat in Krishna district. Nani’s social media shocks continued to scare the party workers and leaders.
Nani has been raising his strong voice publicly against the own leaders in the party. His Tweet attack on MLC Budha Venkanna and calling him Chandrababu’s “Pet Dog”, Nani has also indirectly criticized Chandrababu. Even Chandrababu’s request to Nani to remain silent has gone vain as Nani continued to attack the party’s own leaders.
Amidst this, Kesineni Nani has been nominated by the Union Government as the Member of the Estimates Committee which plays a crucial role in the functioning of Parliament. Nani’s proximity with BJP’s top leaders like Nitin Gadkari, Venkaiah Naidu is now fueling to the ongoing speculations about Nani’s next political move.
While Nani’s exit from TDP seems to be confirmed, BJP reportedly wants Nani to create unrest in TDP and defame the party, Chandrababu and thus weaken the Opposition in AP before strengthening BJP in AP. Political analysts suspect the foul play of BJP for the Antaryudham in TDP.
Kia Motors letter to Jagan gets trolled
As the bookings for ‘Kia Seltos’ is ready to begin from 16th July in India, a letter from the CEO of Korean carmaker is now drawing huge criticism and trolling from the netizens of Telugu states.
Speaking in the assembly, AP Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy countered Nara Chandrababu Naidu by reading out a letter from Kia Motors CEO and claimed credit for YS Rajasekhar Reddy in setting up the Kia Motors manufacturing unit in Amaravati. An excerpt from the letter,
‘the highly respected Reddy surname and your honorable position as Chief Minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh remind my of old memories dating back to around 2007, when I was leading the establishment of the Hyundai Motors in Hyderabad. At that time, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, your late father and then CM of Andhra who requested me to invest in an automobile factory in state. I promised we would do so if we have any additional plans in India.’
This attempt to take away the credit from former CM Chandrababu has become a subject of discussion on social media. For Netizens and TDP supporters, It did not take long time to dig into the details and they soon began to troll him. Also, the memes haven’t excluded late YSR, CEO of Kia Motors and present CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The previous clip of Buggana, during he was in opposition, went viral on social media with jokes and memes on his recent claim and few netizens are referring to the letter as a ‘fake one’.

Did Vijay Expect Anand’s Failure In Prior?
Right from the moment an elder emerges as a huge star, the younger also will begin to flaunt his interest to act in films and we have seen in many filmy families. Controversies are not new to Bigg Boss team, as this reality show always got soaked in one. And now when it comes to the Third Edition of the show, the likes of Swetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta are already accusing in the media that they are harassed by the team that approached them.
In the lines of Swetha Reddy, Fidaa fame actress Gayatri Gupta alleged that a person from Bigg Boss team asked her if she could survive inside the house for 100 days without sex. She lamented for Big Boss team treating women like sex objects and filed a police case too. She mentioned that Big Boss team confirmed her in March itself, but never they gave her an agreement to sign.
Earlier, we have Swetha Reddy accusing that Big Boss team has body shammed her and one of the people from Star Maa is said to have asked her what she will be doing to satisfy his boss. She lodged a complaint with police, giving them all the details and also included Nagarjuna’s name in that.

Krish Struggling to Roll Next
Director Krish has agreed to direct a portion of veteran director K Raghavendra Rao’s love anthology starring Naga Shaurya.
The film will have three love stories and each episode will be handled by a director and the overall project will be supervised by Raghavendra Rao.
Krish being part of Raghavendra Rao’s close circle has agreed to direct one episode.
On the other hand, he is trying to convince a big star for his next film but it would be tough for him to start rolling this.
All big stars are fearing to work with him after the colossal failure of NTR Biopic movies. He has utterly failed with those two movies.
Krish now has to prove himself again with a medium-range movie. Although he also does have offers from Bollywood, the director wants to prove himself with a concept-based movie.
Sandeep Vanga to Buy Office in Mumbai
Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the man of the moment in Bollywood.While critics are up in arms against him after his controversial remarks against a couple of top-line critics, he is being chased by the producers to snap him for their productions.
“Kabir Singh” is all set to cross Rs 275 Cr in India. This is one of the all-time biggest hits in India.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who hails from Warangal, is now planning to change to his main base to Mumbai.
He owns a house and flat in Hyderabad but his well-wishers have advised him to concentrate on Bollywood and use all the fame that he got with the success of “Kabir Singh”.
After Ram Gopal Varma, who ruled the Bollywood industry for more than 15 years, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the only Telugu filmmaker who created such a huge sensation in Mumbai.
“Yes, I have plans for Bollywood. I am looking for a big office and residence in Mumbai,” he confirmed the reports. Sandeep Vanga is now writing a crime drama.
He has signed to do films for two Telugu producers and he also has to do a movie for Mahesh Babu. But his next film will mostly be made in Hindi.
Ram asked me to make him bad boy: Puri Jagannadh
Director Puri Jagannadh said there is loads and loads of energy in Ram and probably he is waiting for a hyper role like ‘iSmart Shankar.’
Compliment Ram further Puri said, “I was looking to work with Ram since long. Even media reported some time about our combination. One day we both met and he said he is bored of doing good boy roles and asked to make him bad boy. That moment I did not have any story for him and after couple of days, I penned this ‘iSmart Shankar’ script.”
Giving the credit to Ram for the styling, Puri said, “One day I noticed his new hair style. I liked it and asked him to continue for the title role. Costumes were also his choice. I did nothing and Ram has double the energy.”
About ‘iSmart Shankar’ plot, Puri said we take many inspirations from Hollywood film, so idea too came from there and about the Telangana slang in the film, Puri added, that did not happen something deliberately. As hero is a Hyderabadi, the language should sound authentic and so they used Hyderabadi diction.
“Both heroines Nabha and Nidhhi did a terrific job. Nabha will be seen in a complete mass avatar while Nidhhi’s role is soft,” stated Puri about the heroines.
