Rakul Signed A Film Only for Pocket Money
Rakul Preet Singh is now one of the top five actresses we have in Tollywood and no one can deny it. The actress has recently spoken on how and why she entered the film industry.
Rakul is a known face in Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil, apart from Tollywood and the actress revealed that she signed her first film ever only to earn extra bucks as her pocket money. She said she was also unaware of how big South films were then. Recalling her first film in Kannada, Rakul shared that she used to get Rs 2000 as pocket money from her parents and doing her first film, the actress thought she could increase the pocket money and also show off in front of her friends in the college.
Her recent film, NGK, with Suriya, gave her many hopes and expectations. However, the film did not reach up to people’s expectations and this has reportedly disappointed the actress. Rakul said that she got two reasons behind doing NGK. ‘Doing a film under Selva Raghavan will be a plus in my career as I loved his previous films and another reason is obviously, Suriya. It’s dream come true,’ she said.
Jagan’s Uncle As TTD Chairman
Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan has reportedly finalized his uncle YV Subba Reddy’s name for Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) chairman post. An official announcement is only left and we might expect it in another couple of days.
YV Subba Reddy was denied ticket by Jagan in the recent elections but the latter assured of a suitable position in the future. The other day there were reports from the YSRCP circles that Jagan will send Subba Reddy to Rajya Sabha but the Upper House elections will take their own time.
Meanwhile the current body of TTD is reluctant to step down. Putta Sudhakar Yadav is the current chairman of TTD and few days back the general body meeting of TTD was held amidst uproar from YSRCP.
As the Putta Sudhakar clarified his stand, CM Jagan is planning to bring an ordinance for the appointment of new TTD chairman and panel. This ordinance will be sent to Governor for his consent and if approved, the current TTD panel has to vacate their place.
The most-awaited India’s first WC match is today
Now that the Cricket World Cup is in full swing and everyone sticking to their TV screens, the question on why the Indian team has not played a single match yet is on everyone’s mind. Today, on June 5, India will be playing its first match opposite South Africa. On the other hand, SA is already playing it third match today, after playing with England and Bangladesh on May 3 and June 2 respectively.
As per the earlier reports, the Indian team was supposed to play its first match on June 2 against Bangladesh. But ICC changed its schedule at the request of BCCI and this answer has, however, raised a few eyebrows. For selective matches, like against England on June 30, Virat and the team are likely to sport the new Orange jerseys, which is predominantly orange with a tint of blue. It is to avoid a colour clash with England’s blue jersey.
Today’s India vs SA match will be played at Trent Bridge, Nottingham and will begin at 1500 HRS IST. 2.0 to release in China in 56000 screens
Ace director Shanker’s prestigious project 2.0, featuring superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, is all set to release in China on July 12. This multi-lingual film has been released in India on November 29, 2018. Being a sequel to 2010 blockbuster film Enthiran, Akshay Kumar tweeted: “Get ready for the ultimate face-off, 2.0 releasing in China this July 12, 2019!”
The film will have Akshay Kumar as the main villain named Dr Richards and Rajinikanth playing the protagonist. He is said to be a saviour of mankind facing the ornithologist’s wrath. 2.0 mesmerized the Indian audience for its beautiful VFX and computer graphics. For China’s release, the makers have teamed up with HY Media to release the film in 56,000 screens including 47,000 3D screens. AR Rahman also tweeted that the film will have premiere shows on June 28.
This film had many plus points like an interesting storyline and the rich production value, with an extravagant budget of Rs 543 crore. Touted as one of the biggest and the most expensive films in 2018, this film is now getting ready to impress China audience as well. A new poster has also been unveiled with the new release date and title written in Chinese.
Viral Video – Salman Slaps Security Guard
The most-awaited Bollywood film, Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has been released today and fans are majorly relieved to see their Bhai at last on big screens. Adivi Sesh’s Film Is Official Remake? Or Freemake?
Apparently hero Adivi Sesh has announced his upcoming film “Evaru?”, which according to him was film quite secretly as he wanted to maintain the suspense. And here comes an interesting snippet about it.
Reports are coming that “Evaru?” is based on the Spanish movie “The Invisible Guest”, which is about a murder and finding out the real killer. This blockbuster was recently remade in Bollywood officially as Badla that stars Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee in the leads. And now, the question is, if Evaru? is the remake of that film, is it an official remake or a freemake?
In the past, producer PVP has this bad experience of freemaking the French film The Intouchables and later he has settled the legal issues with a Bollywood filmmaker who owns the remake rights. Given that there are more chances of legal action now, probably PVP would have remade it officially only.
For the now, Adivi Sesh is not revealing a bit about this film’s story and only after the trailer releases, we might know about the connection.
Jana Sena chief arriving Amaravati tomorrow
For the first time after election results, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will be arriving in Amaravati. At around 9:30 AM, Pawan will land in Gannavaram airport and will straight away go to his residence in Patamatalanka. Then Pawan will relax for some time.
At 2 PM, Pawan will hold a meeting with West Godavari and Krishna district Jana Sena leaders at Party office in Mangalagiri. Pawan has directed all the important leaders to attend this meeting as the Jana Sena chief wants to analyse the results of assembly and Lok Sabha polls. He will also discuss about the upcoming Panchayatraj elections in the state.

Chandrababu writes to AP CM over Praja Vedika
In first, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter to Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan. In the letter Naidu mentioned about Praja Vedika which he used earlier as CM to address the media.
Chandrababu has requested CM Jagan to declare Praja Vedika as residence annexe of the leader of the opposition as Praja Vedika’s locations happens to be close to Chandrababu’s residence in Undavalli and in order to meet visitors like MLAs, common public and others regularly, he put this request forward before the government. Further the TDP boss mentioned that the owner of Praja Vedika is a private person and he had held talks with him.
Lastly Chandrababu appealed to the CM to instruct the concerned officials to allocate Praja Vedika to him, so that he may continue to use it like before. We have to see how CM Jagan responds.
