Mythri Movie Makers Locked Talented Director
Usually, top production houses lock big heroes and acquire their dates by giving them huge advance amounts. But now the trend has come to a point where they are locking talented directors and other technicians.
The whole of south film industry got stunned when KGF became such a stupendous blockbuster at the box office. More than hero Yash, director Prashanth Neel got immense attention for the movie and various big heroes ran after him. Both Namrata Shirodkar on behalf of Mahesh and UV Creations on behalf of Prabhas has held consultations with him for a movie. But nothing materialised.
At a time when Prashanth is busy canning KGF 2 with Yash, popular Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers is said to have locked him for his next. They have signed the director’s next film by giving huge advance and whoever may be the hero, they will be working with Mythri Movie Makers for that film, a source revealed.
That’s an awesome move, and we have to see which Telugu hero gets to act in KGF director’s next.
Mohan Babu Clarifies On TTD Chairman Post
After the YS Jagan led YSRC government took the power in Andhra Pradesh, all the nominated posts filled by Telugudesam party get replaced naturally. Though TTD chairman Sudhakar Yadav refused to quit the post, soon the YS Jagan government will appoint a new chairman and board members.
In the wake of these reports, it is heard that film actor, producer Mohan Babu is likely to be inducted as the new chairman of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Trust Board. Though there are many other names vying for this post, Mohan Babu’s proximity to Jagan and his connection with the temple town of Tirupathi made him a frontrunner. However, the actor has different views on this.
“I have been reading the news & getting calls that I am in the race for TTD Chairman post. My ambition was to see Shri. Jagan as the CM & worked towards it &contributed my bit. I came back to politics because of my belief in Jagan as people’s CM ¬ for any posts or nominations” tweeted Mohan Babu a while ago.
That clarifies the rumour and sheds light on TTD chairman post, however, sources in YSR Congress stated that if not chairman he will be at least a Special Invitee Member like K Raghavendra Rao.
Will Hero And Heroine’s Exposing Save This Film?
Not just heroines, but now heroes are also indulging in a good amount of skin show, hoping that their lady fanbases will ogle at their six pack abs. And recently this young hero felt proud about that skin show at the film’s pre-release event as well.
Upcoming film ‘Hippi’, which is hitting cinemas tomorrow (June 6th), features RX100 fame hero Karthikeya Reddy and Bollywood TV serial girl Digangana Suryavanshi in the leads. While the hero is almost shirtless in many scenes and songs, even Digangana is appearing too hot in her skimpy outfits and also bikinis. It looks like the two competed with each other to showcase the best of their skin.
Going by this ultimate skin show put on by the hero and heroine, definitely one feels that they want to save Hippi at least with this, as the trailer of the film is lesser impressive. We have to see what happens at the box office as the hero also wants to rewrite his love-failure guy image with these casanova acts inside Hippi. Wait and watch.
Jagan’s crackdown on corruption impresses all, even his critics!
When YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy talked about curbing corruption at all levels in government after winning Assembly polls with a landslide majority and before taking oath as CM, everyone laughed and mocked at him.
This is because a strong image has been created in the minds of all by ‘yellow media’ and YSR critics that Jagan is ‘most corrupt’ due to which he is facing CBI cases and also spent in Chanchalguda jail for 16 months.
But when people started looking at Jagan from Day-1 of him becoming CM on May 30 and his style of functioning as CM, they now started to realise how yellow media and YSR critics have created a ‘fake and false image’ of Jagan and branded him as “corrupt”.
Not only people, even IAS, IPS officials, senior officials in government besides YSRCP’s own MLAs and MPs are left shell shocked at Jagan seriously targetting corruption at all levels and telling on their face that he may tolerate anything but will not tolerate corruption at any cost.
YSRCP leaders and officials who dreamt of making some big money in Jagan’s rule are now slowly losing their hopes and started realising that it’s not possible to amass wealth in the next five years.
In the review meetings being held by CM Jagan for the past three days on various departments, he has been exposing the corruption and how public money was looted left, right and centre by TDP government led by Chandrababu Naidu but still projected as “Anna Hazare” by yellow media.
This corruption is being exposed through Sakshi media everyday with ample proofs leaving public shocked over how TDP leaders drained taxpayers money for their lavish lifestyle, personal gains and for their family members.
In AP State Council of Higher Education, minister Ghanta Srinivasa Rao appointed his henchmen, who claimed bills worth Rs 40 lakh just for consuming dry fruits as evening snacks besides spending another Rs 5 crore to tour various countries and enjoy holidays under the guise of scouting foreign universities for collaborations with AP universities.
Not even a single foreign university entered into MoU with any AP university but Rs 5 crore went down the drain.
This was exposed by Jagan in his review meeting on education department.
Jagan also exposed how former Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad minted crores in the name of ‘KST’ (Kodela Service Tax) where contractors were forced to pay bribes to Kodela as commission for getting contracts from government.
ABN Andhrajyothy owner, a strong critic of YSR family and Jagan and ‘aatma’ of Chandrababu Naidu, too admitted Jagan’s sincerity in curbing corruption in his weekly column “Kotha Paluku” saying that by doing so Jagan is shedding ‘corrupt image’ that was falsely imposed on him by his critics.
Though none of the corruption cases were proved by CBI even after seven years, the yellow media and YSR critics branded Jagan as ‘corrupt’ in the public but the same Jagan as CM is now being seen as a crusader against corruption by public, officials and media.
New Andhra CM continues rejig, transfers 47 officials
Amaravati: Over 45 IAS and IPS officers were transferred in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday in continuing rejig in administration by new Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Several bureaucrats considered close to previous government of N. Chandrababu Naidu were either shunted to insignificant posts or asked to report to General Administration Department for further postings.
Chief Secretary L. V. Subrahmanyam issued four different orders, transferring 41 IAS, four IPS and two IFS officers.
This is the largest number of officials transferred since Jagan Reddy took over as the Chief Minister on May 30, following massive victory of his YSR Congress Party in the Assembly elections.
D. Gautam Sawang, Director General, Vigilance and Enforcement & Ex-officio Principal Secretary, was transferred and posted as Chairman, A.P. Road Safety Authority. He will continue in full additional charge of the post of Director General of Police.
Immediately after assuming office, Jagan Reddy had shunted out DGP R. P. Thakur and in his place appointed Gautam Sawang as the police chief. He had also shunted out four key officials from Chief Minister’s Office and they are still waiting for new postings.
Ajay Jain, Principal Secretary, Energy, Infrastructure and Investment Department was transferred and directed to report to the General Administration Department for further posting. He was one of the key officials considered close to Naidu.
The government appointed Ram Prakash Sisodia, Principal Secretary, Tribal Welfare as Principal Secretary, (Political), General Administration Department in place of Srikant Nagulapalli.
K. Vijayanand, Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO), was transferred and directed to report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
Mukesh Kumar Meena, Commissioner, Prohibition & Excise and M.D, A.P. Beverages Corporation Ltd, was also transferred and posted as Secretary, Social Welfare Department.
In other key transfer, Dr. P.Lakshminarasimham, Secretary, Services & HRM, General Administration Department, was transferred and posted as the Commissioner, Capital Region Development Authority. Dr C. Sridhar, who was holding the post, was directed to report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
Peeyush Kumar, Secretary, Finance Department was posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes.
Barring Krishna, Kadapa, Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram, collectors of remaining seven districts were also transferred.

Lip Locks – Live In – Sex And Six Pack, Yet Zero Buzz
Karthikeya Gummakonda of RX 100 fame has once again banked upon steamy lip locks, sex and sleaze in his latest film Hippi.
Despite giving a lot of hints about the steamy content in Hippi, it couldn’t generate enough pre-release buzz.
The film’s trailer got very ordinary response compared to RX 100’s trailer, which played a major role in pulling audiences in big numbers to the theaters.
The makers released yet another trailer few days ago, but that too couldn’t add to the buzz.
Pre bookings for Hippi are almost negligible compared to that of RX 100 that has opened to packed screens all over.
Hippi too has Karthikeya locking lips with the female lead and roaming around shirtless like he did in RX 100. The film’s plot is based upon live in relationships.
Hippi has all the elements that are essential for a film to grab the attention of youth. In fact it seems to have overdose of such elements, which is why Karthikeya is hoping that it will be ten times bigger hit than RX 100.
But does Hippi have that shock value and the incredible plot twist that eventually made it a blockbuster?
Local body polls: TRS defeated in KCR’s adopted village
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) suffered defeat in Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s adopted village and her daughter K. Kavitha’s own village but the ruling party was way ahead of others in the rest of the state in the rural local body elections.
The TRS candidate was defeated in Chinna Mulkanoor village in Karimnagar district, which was adopted by Chandrashekhar Rao in 2016. Independent candidate Rajesham won Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) election.
In Nizamabad district too, the TRS was defeated in Pothangal village of Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter K. Kavitha.
It came as another setback to Kavitha, who was defeated in the recent Lok Sabha elections in Nizamabad constituency.
Kavitha is enrolled as a voter in Pothangal, which is the village of her in-laws. The TRS candidate in MPTC election lost to his BJP rival.
Counting of votes polled in MPTCs and Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTCs) was taken up across the state on Tuesday.
According to the results declared by the state Election Commission so far, the TRS won 3,042 MPTC and 44 ZPTC seats, the main opposition Congress bagged 1,101 MPTC and 3 ZPTC while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 184 TMC and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) 20 MPTC seats. Others were elected in 487 seats.
Elections to 5,659 MPTCs and 534 ZPTCs across 32 districts were held in three phases last month. According to the State Election Commission, 2,426 candidates were in fray for the MPTC and 18,930 for the ZPTC elections.
Elections to 158 MPTCs and 4 ZPTCs were unanimous.
All the elected MPTCs will in turn chose Mandal Parishad presidents while elected ZPTCs will elect Zilla Parishad chairpersons.
Elections for Mandal Parishad presidents will be held on June 7 while Zilla Parishad chairpersons will be elected the next day.
Venkatesh’s Next With Pelli Choopulu Director
We have been hearing lot of speculations about Veteran Superstar Venkatesh’s next film as solo lead.
Putting all the rumors to rest, the veteran is teaming up with young director Tharun Bhascker who made debut with blockbuster Pelli Choopulu.
Tharun’s second film Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi impressed a section of audience, but couldn’t succeed like Pelli Choopulu.
He has taken a brief break post ENE and penned a script that suits Venkatesh. Both Venky and Suresh Babu liked Tharun’s script and have given their nod.
The film will be announced officially tomorrow. Of late, Venkatesh has been doing multi-starrers as he couldn’t find scripts that suit his age and image.
Finally, Tharun has come up with what Venky has been looking for. The veteran is currently doing a multi-starrer called Venky Mama with Naga Chaitanya.
Ravi Shastri trolled over pic with two women
A self-proclaimed Pakistan cricket team fan, Australias famous Twitter personality Dennis Freedman has trolled India chief coach Ravi Shastri on the eve of their opening World Cup game against South Africa by posting a picture of Shastri with two women who seem to be excited to be sharing the frame with the coach. There is another person in the frame, but he is not associated with the Indian team.
Taking to Twitter, Freedman wrote: “India’s World Cup preparations appear to be going well.”
Shastri’s photo hasn’t gone down well with fans who commented on Freedman’s post. One fan wrote: “Fielding at fine leg.” Another one wrote: “We’re playing both on and off the field.”
Another user wrote: “They are so anxious to gel in with gori’s in UK. This is Indians very natural complex (sic).” One Pakistani fan wrote: “Dear girls watch Azhar movie again if you dont know who is R shastri (sic).”
An Indian fan was clearly not impressed with the photo as the comment read: “He is better than play boy Warne who got his mms with 2 girls leaked (sic).”
Dennis also posted the photo on Facebook and the reaction of the fans isn’t something that augurs well for the team. One fan wrote: “Hope he creates something better than Jayasuriya.” Another one wrote: “Keep it up dude, you are doing well.”
Earlier, the Indian team had a tiff with the media on Monday after the team management decided to send in net bowlers Deepak Chahar and Avesh Khan for media interaction. The move didn’t go down with the travelling media as they felt that they deserved better treatment two days before Virat Kohli and boys play their opening game of the World Cup against South Africa.
GVL’s Next Target Is Jagan?
When Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh till recently, Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesman and Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao used to attack him with strong words day in and day out.
After Naidu faced a humiliating defeat in the hands of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, GVL went silent except on the day of results when he said Naidu had paid penalty for his misrule.
Now that he is habituated to making sharp criticism against others, GVL seems to have set Jagan as his next target. It appears he is closely watching the new chief minister’s moves and looking for an opportunity to attack.
On Tuesday, GVL made some critical comments against Jagan for hosting Iftar for Muslims at Guntur on Monday.
He said being the chief minister of a secular state, it was not appropriate for Jagan to host Iftar party for Muslims at the expense of public money.
He was reacting to some reports that the government had spent Rs 1.1 crore on the Iftar party at Guntur.
“It is not correct on the part of Jagan to spend so much public money on religious events. Andhra Pradesh has already been facing huge revenue loss. And the previous chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had wasted crores of rupees of public money on his “luxurious” agitations and pushed the state into a deep financial crisis,” he pointed out.
“It is not proper to host religious festivals with public expenses in a secular government. I hope the new chief minister Jagan will not give scope for such unhealthy practices in future,” GVL commented on twitter.
Well, he has not made a comment on Jagan flying to Visakhapatnam in a special flight to take the blessings of Swamy Swaroopanandendra of Visakha Sarada Peetham.

Pic Talk: Mahanati joins Manmadhudu
It was earlier reported that actress Keerthy Suresh will be seen in an important role in ‘Manmadhudu 2.’ Now this ‘Mahanati’ has joined the shooting.
The current schedule is taking place in Hyderabad and Keerthy was spotted on the sets.
Actor Rahul Ravindran who is the director of the film took to his official Twitter handle and is delighted having Keerthy in ‘Manmandhudu 2.’
This is a fun filled entertainer inspired from the original and Rakul Preet Singh is playing the main female lead.
