Tamannah Bought Luxury Flat for Wedding?

Tamannah recently bought a luxury flat in Versova in Mumbai that costed her whopping Rs 16 Cr. This is double the amount for a 2200 sft flat in that area.

Why did she pay such hefty amount? Is there any special reason?

From the past few days, social media is abuzz that she is getting to tie the knots with a businessman.

According to these reports, her parents have brought an alliance and she agreed to get married to him.

Hence, she bought this flat with a great sea view paying double the amount in order to make this her permanent home after the wedding.

However, Tamannah has laughed off the speculations. She said there is no truth in paying such huge amount. Second, she has no plans of getting married this year as media has been speculating.

Tamannah has earlier been linked with actor-director Prabhudeva.

Dorasani that marks the debut of Shivatmika Rajasekhar and Anand Deverakonda is a period love story set in rural Telangana.There is Rajdooth, which is the debut film of Late Srihari’s son Megamsh Srihari. It is a commercial entertainer that revolves around a bike.

All three films are different in their own way, but with World Cup fever at a high, these films need to get superb reports to get the desired attention.

Ram Charan to Promote Sye Raa Personally

Ram Charan who will be busy shooting for Rajamouli’s “RRR” until early next year will be coming in front of the media to promote a film.

The movie that he’s going to promote doesn’t feature him in it but he will be doing this as he is the producer.

Buzz in the industry is that he personally requested Rajamouli to grant leave for few days so that he would participate in the promotions of “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” that stars his father Megastar Chiranjeevi in the titular role.

“Sye Raa” that is being produced by Ram Charan with the whopping Rs 250 Cr budget will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages.

The period drama was recently bought by a Kannada producer for staggering Rs 30 Cr for Karnataka region.

Its Hindi rights were given to Farhan Akhtar’s distribution company. Ram Charan is selling it at exorbitant prices. So, distributors expect him to promote it aggressively.

Ram Charan has already informed his team to chalk out promotional strategy from August 22nd. The trailer will be released on this date on the eve of Megastar’s birthday.

The movie will hit the screens on October 2nd. Charan has to promote the movie in September.

Gang Leader Postponed to September

Nani has been working nonstop for Vikram Kumar’s “Gang Leader” despite not fully recovering from his leg injury.Nani has already commenced the shoot of this thriller to finish it on schedule but despite his best efforts the film will not make it to August 30 release as announced earlier.

The makers have now pushed the film to September. New release date is yet to be locked.“Gang Leader” is a thriller that features ‘RX100’ fame Kartikeya in the negative role. Nani is playing the role of a crime novel writer.

It has several actresses but Priya Mohan is debuting as the main heroine.

The hardworking star also has chalked out good strategy for his career. He not only completed dubbing for Hollywood flick ‘The Lion King’ recently, he is also finalizing several movies to act in as well as to produce.He has huge plans for movies next year. Nani will produce films in serious manner.

CBI books ex-ED official who probed Jagan case!

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday registered a case of disproportionate assets against Bollineni Sreenivasa Gandhi, superintendent of GST Anti-Evasion wing, following simultaneous raids on his residence and properties in Hyderabad and Vijayawada.

According to reliable sources, the CBI had found disproportionate assets worth Rs 3.75 crore in the searches in the afternoon. However, it is learnt Gandhi had amassed assets worth over Rs 500 crore. He is also expecting promotion this month.

Ironically, this “gentleman” had worked as assistant director in the Enforcement Directorate and investigated the disproportionate assets case of YSR Congress Party president and present Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. He had reportedly attached several properties of Jagan during the ED probe.

In February 2018, Jagan lodged complained with Prime Minister Narendra Modi against Gandhi stating that the official was acting in a vindictive manner at the behest of Telugu Desam Party president and then chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Needless to say Gandhi belonged to the same community of Naidu. He was also charged with helping former TDP MP Y S Chowdary of Sujana group of companies by diluting the tax evasion cases.

After his term in the Enforcement Directorate, Gandhi was transferred to the GST department and posted in the Anti-Evasion wing at GST commissioner’s office in Hyderabad.

No special status, Centre clarifies again!

For yet another time, the Narendra Modi government at the Centre made it clear that there was no question of granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh under any circumstances.

Union minister of state for home Nityananda Rai, in his written reply to YSR Congress party MP Balli Durgaprasad on Tuesday, asserted that the Centre had already explained its stand on the special category status to AP. “We have already announced a special package to the state and hence, there is no way we can give special category status,” he said.

The minister reiterated that the issue of special status had been a closed chapter following the suggestions of the 14th finance commission. “We are now focussing on other issues mentioned in the reorganisation act,” he said.

He pointed out that there were still some contentious issues between two Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. “We shall make efforts to resolve all these issues at the earliest,” he said.

Now that the Centre has clarified its position on special status, it remains to be seen what stand the Jagan Mohan Reddy government would take hereafter.

Kapus Voted For Jagan, Says Mudragada!

After keeping silent for a long time, former minister and Kapu strongman Mudragada Padmanabham is back in the news again.

Known for creating embarrassing situations to the governments of the day by dashing off letters, Mudragada on Tuesday wrote a letter to YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking justice to the Kapu community.

Mudragada claimed that Kapus had voted en masse, except in a few places, in favour of YSR Congress in the recent assembly elections hoping that at least Jagan Mohan Reddy would be able to provide solution to the long-pending demand of the community for reservations in education and employment.

“We, Kapus, set aside even our own party (read: Jana Sena Party headed by Pawan Kalyan, a Kapu leader) and voted for the YSRC. Now, it is the time for you to reciprocate our support by fulfilling the demand for reservations,” he said.

Mudragada pointed out how the previous TDP government headed by N Chandrababu Naidu had betrayed the Kapu community by not fulfilling the demand.

“I request you to complete the Kapu reservation process which was left unsolved by Naidu,” he said.

He expressed confidence that YS Jagan’s government can do justice to the Kapu community. He requested CM to consider this issue and do justice to the Kapu.

“If you feel the issues raised by me are genuine, please implement the reservations for Kapus,” he said.
