In Pics: Priyanka & Nick’s stylish appearance
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra can never disappoint you with their fashion sense. Their recent appearance at the red carpet of Chasing Happiness- The Jonas Brothers documentary is the present highlight. Earlier too, the stylish couple grabbed everyone’s attention with MET GALA and Cannes festival’s spellbound appearances.
Priyanka went along with her husband Nick at the Red carpet, cheering and supporting him as the documentary is based on the life of Jonas Brothers. The actress looked ravishing in a black gown and a long side slit. She accessorized it with a pair of heels and a silver netted cloth on her exposed thigh. Also, her neckpiece and sleeky hair made her look more gorgeous.
Nick wore a suede wine coloured jacket and pants, with same coloured footwear. He pulled it off brilliantly and looked handsome. No matter what, the duo always make public appearances hand in hand and Priyanka made sure that the limelight was on her hubby. When a journalist asked Jonas brothers about their wives being present on their big day, Nick Jonas said “It’s a dream come true. They’re all so busy that the fact that they get to come here and support us means the world.”
Swaroopanandendra Swamy kisses YS Jagan

AP CM YS Jagan has turned religious like Telangana CM KCR. In the recent times he visited many shrines and met many swamiji’s like never before. His near and dear sources partly give credit to Jagan’s spiritual tours for the win in elections. After the landslide victory, Jagan met consulted Swaroopanandendra Swamy to fix a time for the swearing-in ceremony and as per the Swamy’s suggestion, Jagan did so.
Once again Jagan had approached Swaroopanandendra Swamy and this time it is for the expansion of cabinet. Though the date and time are already out, Jagan on Tuesday visited Sree Sharada Peetham in Vizag and met Swaroopanandendra Swamy. The AP CM wore traditional white Panche and shirt to see Swaroopanandendra Swamy. He formally greeted the swamy with special gifts. Then the Swaroopanandendra Swamy took Jagan close to him and kissed on his cheek and blessed him. Later Jagan reportedly informed about the ministers’ oath ceremony.
Being religious is an individual’s personal choice but Jagan’s complete transformation has the hand of KCR as he is the one who suggested Jagan to approach Swaroopanandendra Swamy for a growth in political career. Wonder how long this will work.

These Secret Projects Led To Delay Of Her Debut

The issue of the Telugu remake of ‘2 States’ is not yet resolved as director Venkat Reddy approached the court and hero Adivi Sesh is said to be not interested in a settlement with him. The film features Sesh and debutant Sivani Rajaeskhar in the lead roles.
Other day while sharing his thoughts on his upcoming movies like ‘Yevaru?’, Sesh revealed that he has filmed this complete project secretly in order to maintain the surprise element. Apart from this ‘secret project’, he is also filming for Mahesh Babu’s production Major that will narrate the story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Well, all these revelations gave another clue.
When Sesh is focused on his own production ventures or the ones where he has bigger names associated with, one wonders why would he show interest on 2 States. Reports are coming that his secret projects and working on multiple projects at the same time are the ones responsible for the delay of that love story.
Anyway, despite the fact that Sesh’s next films are releasing, there is no progression on 2 States in any manner.
Finally Ravi Prakash Appears Before The Police

Sacked TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash has appeared before the Cyber-Crime police on Tuesday. Since over a month or so Ravi Prakash is hiding from the cops. Three cases were filed against Ravi Prakash in connection with ABCL and Alandha Media group financial transaction. Ravi Prakash had allegedly involved in data theft, forgery and in one more case.
Ravi Prakash had approached High Court of Telangana for anticipatory bail. But as the court declined, he approached the Supreme Court. The same happened as the apex court advised Ravi Prakash to sort out things in High court and declined to give anticipatory bail. So all the ways have closed for Ravi Prakash and as the police have issued lookout notices on him, he appeared before them to avoid arrest.
Actor Sivaji was also allegedly involved in this case. The police have issued notices on him as well but he did not appear before the police. Reports have come out that Ravi Prakash deliberately involved Sivaji in TV9 management row and claimed that Sivaji too has shares and so Alandha Media group can’t take over the management of ABCL.
June 12, yet another historic day for Jagan!
June 12 is going to be yet another historic day for YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
On this day, Jagan is going to enter the state legislative assembly for the first time in the capacity of chief minister and would occupy the chair of leader of the House, on the right side of the podium.
In fact, when the new state assembly building was inaugurated in 2017, Jagan vowed that he would enter the House from the right side one day.
And his dream would be coming true on June 12, when the state assembly session will commence to meet for a brief period.
In the recent elections, the YSRCP registered a landslide victory by winning 151 MLA and 22 MP seats. The assembly sessions are the first meetings after the election results.
The session will continue for five days. During the meetings, the elected MLA’s of ruling and opposition will be sworn-in to their post.
For Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, entering the assembly from the left side and occupying the opposition benches is not new.
Yet, he will face the embarrassment of sitting opposite to the leader, who is as young as his son.
Now, Naidu has to sit the chambers of opposition leader which was leaking every monsoon. Let us see how he will face the situation.
Vijayashanti Quells Rumors of Political Retirement
Lady Amitabh Vijayashanti who is making comeback after a gap of 15 years to the cinema field has slammed reports that she is taking retirement from politics to continue in films.
Vijayashanti is unlucky in politics as she jumped from one party to the other without ever enjoying power or positions.
She moved from BJP to Talli Telangana to TRS to Congress. She is currently holding the position of star campaigner in Congress party.
But future looks bleak for the congress party as it is routed in Lok Sabha polls as well as in Telangana assembly polls. Given this fact Vijayashanti is contemplating to retire from politics, some reports said.
Reacting to these speculations, Vijayashanti made it clear that she will take up any work whenever party’s high command asks her to do.
“I am taking up the role in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ because there is nothing much to do right now as both the central and state governments returned to power just recently and the opposition parties will not have much role to play at least for another year,” she clarified.
She is playing key role in Mahesh Babu’s “Sarileru Neekevvaru” which is directed by Anil Ravipudi.
Vijayashanti has played the role of mother when Mahesh was kid. She is now returning to films in his movie after a long hiatus.
Vijayashanti will continue in films and politics as well. The 50 plus actress is getting paid huge remuneration for her role in this Mahesh Babu starrer.
In her prime of career, she ruled the industry as the number one female artiste in India.
TRS wave in local polls, but setback to Kavitha
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi is racing ahead in the local body elections in the state, capturing maximum number of mandal parishad and zilla parishad territorial constituencies (MTPC and ZPTCs).
According to the reports that last came in, the TRS had already captured more than 3,000 out of 5,659 MPTC seats and 33 out of 570-odd ZPTC seats.
The Congress is lagging far behind with just 1,000 plus MPTC seats and only three ZPTC seats. The independents are in the third position with nearly 400 MPTC seats, followed by the BJP.
If this trend continues, the TRS will sweep 90 per cent the mandal and zilla parishads in the state. This will be a lot of morale booster for the TRS which could not perform up to expectations in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
However, TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao received a personal setback.
In Potangal village of Navipet mandal in Nizamabad district, which is the native place of KCR’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha, BJP candidate Kathroji Raju won the MPTC seat. It would mean, the voters of Kavitha’s own village chose to vote against her.
Recently, Kavitha was defeated in the hands of BJP candidate Dharmapuri Arvind in the Lok Sabha elections from Nizamabad parliamentary constituency. The latest clearly indicated that her defeat was not a conspiracy, but the people had rejected her.
Similarly, in Kodurupaka village of Siricilla district, which is KCR’s in-laws village and native of Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar, the Congress won the MPTC seat, much to the humiliation of the TRS bosses.
Voters want KCR to supply KF beer!
Strange as it might sound, voters of a village in Jagitial district put forth a funny demand before the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government before casting their vote for the ruling party in the local body elections in the district.
Their demand is: supply adequate quantity of Kingfisher beer in the district. While counting the votes in Mutapalli village of Raikal block in Jagitial district, the counting authorities found a letter in the ballot box.
The letter, addressed to TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, was written by one of the voters, who claimed that he was writing it on behalf of district people.
His demand is that there was severe shortage of Kingfisher beer in the district and the authorities were not supplying the brand in Jagitial for several months.
“As a result, we are forced to travel to other districts for drinking Kingfisher beer. Please look into our request,” he said.
In Peddapalli, another voter left a letter in the ballot box, demanding that the chief minister make Garrepally village in Sultanabad Mandal in Peddapally district as a mandal. The voter said that the village had all facilities to be made as mandal.
