Jr. NTR announced that he will work with better scripts and he is planning to work with big technicians all the time, these days.He doesn’t want to miss out on a chance to act in another film with Trivikram Srinivas and he is ok with the budget and other demands, it seems.
He is quite confident after Aravinda Sametha, their new film will be even bigger and better. The actor also has a film with Koratala Siva lined up.
As the director will be busy with Megastar Chiranjeevi film by the time he completes RRR and Trivikram will be available from February, NTR-Trivikram will definitely work together, it seems.
And all other combinations with Trivikram Srinivas, as director might not happen it seems, even Megastar Chiranjeevi film. Even though the actor himself announced it, the schedules are too compact and only in 2021, can Trivikram think about his next with any other actor other than Jr. NTR, it seems.
YSR statue in Parliament not possible?
YSR Congress party MP from Machilipatnam parliamentary constituency V Balashowry on Monday made a representation to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla requesting that a statue of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy be installed on the Parliament premises.
Balashowry said YSR was the most popular leader of his times and his welfare schemes made a mark on Andhra Pradesh.
A four-time MP from Kadapa and five-time MLA from Pulivendula, YSR served as the chief minister of AP twice, he reminded.
“During his tenure between 2004 and 2009, YSR had implemented several schemes such as free power supply to agriculture sector, pavala vaddi(three per cent interest on crop loans), fee reimbursement for the poor students and Arogya Sri,” he pointed out.
Besides, YSR had taken up several developmental programmes like Jala Yagnam, construction of Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad International Airport, Hyderabad Metro Rail project etc.
“He will remain in the hearts of the people forever and a statue for him in Parliament will be a real tribute for him,” Balashowy said.
Sources, however, said the installation of YSR statue in Parliament is unlikely as a high-level committee of Parliament had decided nine years ago that there would be no further installation of statues in the premises because it was already over-crowded with statues.
There are in all more than 50 statues of national and regional leaders in Parliament.
The last statue that was permitted to be installed in Parliament was that of Telugu Desam Party founder and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N T Rama Rao. It was unveiled in May 2013.
Unless a special permission is granted by the Narendra Modi government, the statue of YSR cannot be installed in Parliament, sources said.
Why should Ram Madhav attend TANA?
It is an open secret that the Telugu Association of North America mostly comprises pro-Telugu Desam Party members belonging to a particular community.
Though the organisers invite people from all walks of life from the Telugu states, many invitees keep away from TANA meets for the simple reason that the audiences are dominated by TDP supporters.
Of course, celebrities from Tollywood attend to entertain the audiences just out of their craze for film stars.
During the conference period, one could notice parallel meetings by the TDP leaders at TANA. If there is any talk critical of the TDP, the speakers would be booed by the audiences.
Same thing happened to Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Ram Madhav.
The TANA organisers sent an invitation him to attend the conference since he represented the national political party that came to power for a second term in the country.
But when Ram Madhav started addressing the conference, he was at the receiving end, as the audiences shouted at him and booed him, for the simple reason that he made critical remarks against the TDP and its president N Chandrababu Naidu.
“This was the handiwork of Nara Lokesh supporters, who exposed their dirty brains. They insulted a national leader like Ram Madhav. The TANA meetings have become gatherings of TDP bandwagons, who have damaged the prestige of the Telugu people in the US,” BJP Andhra Pradesh unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana said.
In the first place, Ram Madhav should not have attended TANA meeting without understanding its background and the composition of members.
Just because the organisers have sponsored his travel and stay, he should not have gone there and made anti-TDP speeches. And he had to pay the penalty for the same!
Did Guv oppose Sai Reddy appointment?
The reappointment of YSR Congress party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy as the Special Representative of the Government of Andhra Pradesh in New Delhi came as a big surprise for many.The chief secretary had to modify orders twice to make the appointment of Sai Reddy.
On June 22, he issued orders appointing the YSRC MP as special representative with cabinet rank and all facilities.The GO was withdrawn on July 4, stating that Sai Reddy’s appointment was cancelled.But surprisingly on Sunday, another order was issued reappointing Sai Reddy as special representative of the AP government with a status of ‘State guest’ without any Cabinet rank and other perks.
It would mean the post cannot be considered as office of profit and so, Sai Reddy would not be liable for any legal scrutiny.Had he been given the cabinet rank, it would be in conflict with his existing position as an MP, thereby amounting to office of profit.But what made one wonder why YSRC president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was so keen on having Sai Reddy as special representative even without any rank or perks.
In fact, the name of former Narasaraopet MP Modugula Venugopal Reddy was also heard to be in the reckoning for the post, but Jagan was apparently firm on Sai Reddy’s appointment.Apparently, Jagan cannot find a better person than Sai Reddy in lobbying with the Centre not only on the issues of state’s concern, but also on his personal issues.Nobody else could be as confidant as Sai Reddy is for him. So, Jagan had no option other than Sai Reddy.
However, there is a talk in political circles that Governor E S L Narasimhan has advised Jagan against appointing Sai Reddy as the special representative in Delhi because it would create legal problems, notwithstanding the fact that Sai Reddy won’t be given any benefits.But Jagan did not listen to Narasimhan and went ahead with Sai Reddy’s appointment, sources said.

Talking at the event, Puri Jagannath accepted that he hasn’t scored any hit after ‘Temper’ movie but when he was very hungry to score a hit, he picked Ram. ”He is not Ram Pothineni, he is Ram Chirutha Puli,” said Puri and stated that he did not change anything about him but just used Ram’s energy. “Cinema is his world. He will be either at the shooting or at the home. He doesn’t meet friends and go to parties such is his passion,” added Puri.
”People are expecting so many things from me. When I met director Puri and ‘iSmart Shankar’ worked out immediately,” said Ram and thanked producer Charmme for being there on the set and taking care of everything.
