Telangana HC stays demolition of Secretariat & Assembly

The Telangana government received a rude shock from the Telangana High Court. On the controversial decision to demolish the old Assembly and secretariat, nearly six petitions were filed including that of Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy’s. This case came to hearing on Monday and the court has asked the Telangana government to file counters.

For this the advocate sought 15 days time and considering this the court said it would give time and until then the demolishing works should be stopped. Stunned by the court’s ruling, the Telangana government has filed a counter petition in just few hours time.

While this is happening at one end, one more social activists has filed a PIL. The petitioner claimed that Erramanzil building is a heritage property and it can’t be demolished as the history will get rubbed off. This petition has been postponed by two weeks.

Karnataka crisis: 21 ministers resign for rebels

Interesting developments are being witnessed every hour in Karnataka politics. The rebels who are refusing to back down from their resignation are holding talks with Congress high command. Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has also got to the ground to end this crisis situation in the state.

In order to convince the rebel MLAs, the Congress high command has decided to make the current ministers resign from their post and offer ministries to the rebels. We hear that 21 ministers have resigned and Siddaramaiah tweeted that the same and also requested them to save the coalition government from collapsing. Siddaramaiah threw the blame on BJP for instigating rebels against the government. Congress MPs on Monday raised slogans against BJP in Lok Sabha.

JD(S) ministers are reportedly in dual thoughts over stepping down. Karnataka transport minister Thammanna said his party did not suggest anything so far but if asks so, he is ready to quit. Amidst these happenings, Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy has called for a cabinet meeting on Monday evening. In this very meeting a major decision is likely to be taken. Some time back Kumaraswamy informed the media that the issue will be solved soon and the government will resume its work smoothly.

The meeting of Gannavaram TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi with Union Minister of State for Home Kishan Reddy has become hot topic in TDP circles. A picture of Kishan Reddy, Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Manikyala Rao is widely shared. Amidst BJP’s claims that 18 TDP MLAs are in touch with their party and likely to jump into their fold, the meeting of Vallabhaneni Vamsi with Kishan Reddy has triggered panic in TDP circles.

However, the picture is clicked during a program at Swarna Bharati Trust in Krishna district for which Kishan Reddy is invited as chief guest and Vamsi as one of the guests. Thanks to AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the real estate market in Telangana’s capital city Hyderabad is booming. As per real estate experts, the real estate market in Hyderabad has picked momentum after YCP emerged victorious in Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. Since May 23, the results day, the real-estate market in Hyderabad has seen huge surge owing to the downfall of the real-estate market in Amaravati, AP’s capital.

As there is a lot of ambiguity in Amaravati with the formation of new government and CM Jagan’s aggressive decisions related to policy and politics, potential buyers and investors have their own apprehensions when it comes to AP. Hence, many of investors are looking to buy properties in and around Hyderabad. And the buyers, investors are adopting a wait and watch policy when it comes to Amaravati. They want to take an year or two years before things get settle down in AP and depending on then prevailing condition, the realtors could take a call whether to buy properties or not in AP.

This is indeed a tricky situation to realtors who started constructions in AP as the sales have drastically come down. Both inquiries and closures have come down in AP, confirmed a realtor. Meanwhile, the realtors in Hyderabad are cashing in on the situation.

Lokesh Gang Insulted Ram Madhav In TANA : Kanna

BJP’s Ram Madhav has faced the heat of the Telugu community at TANA Conference and this has not gone down well with Andhra Pradesh BJP. The state chief Kanna Lakshmi Narayana termed this incident as outrageous and said they are not TANA ‘Sabhalu’ in fact they are TDP ‘Bhajana Sabhalu.’

Kanna blamed that TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh for the whole episode. “Ram Madhav was invited and deliberately insulted by Lokesh and his gang. This shows TDP can stoop to any low and they are bringing a bad name for the country and also for the entire Telugu community in the US,” tweeted Kanna.

Adding the AP BJP chief wrote, the saffron party is getting strengthened in the state and this is why TDP is indulging in silly politics.

While addressing the gathering of 22nd TANA Conference, few spectators have raised slogans against BJP and PM Modi and Ram Madhav had to cut short his speech. The organisers of the event reacted promptly and settled the matter in no time.

Big Announcement: Allu Aravind to produce Ramayana

Ramayana and Mahabharat are the epics and quite a few filmmakers are considering to make the latter one on a grand scale. Now we have takers for Ramayana and it is going to be none other than Mega producer Allu Aravind.

He along with Madhu Manthena and Namit Malhotra have joined hands to make a visual extravagant version of Ramayana. The official announcement is also made regarding the same. This Ramayana will be made into three parts and in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages simultaneously. It will be Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar of Sridevi’s ‘Mom’ fame will be directing Ramayana.

The casting of the film is not yet finalised but the makers are looking at PAN India actors which means we will witness Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam actors coming together.

Also the makers are aiming to release to the first part in the first half of 2021. Indian Cinema is getting bold is what we can call.

Reports are coming that Superstar Mahesh got upset with the way Amazon Prime is functioning and not giving any way to the producer to call the shots. Well, when the release of Maharshi on Prime got delayed and released only after 50 days, what is the problem for Mahesh anyway?

Rumours are coming up that actually Mahesh and his team feel that ‘Maharshi’ movie still has the potential to make some more bucks before retiring from the theatres completely. As there is only Oh Baby competition for them, they feel that Maharshi still has a life at the box office. A rumour has that upset with this, Mahesh went to Sarileru Neekevvaru shooting in Kashmir a week in advance and he has no plans to host Maharshi 50 days event now.

Saaho First Single: Nice Beats, But Dubbed From Hindi!

The much awaited first single from Saaho movie is out. Psycho Saiyaan that has been trending across social media platforms is out on YouTube now.

The song composed by Bollywood music director Tanishk Bagchi has foot tapping beats and rhythms, but it is sounding like a dubbed song as Telugu lyric writer Sreejo faced trouble sync his lyrics with the tune.

Even the video looks like the song was shot in Hindi and later dubbed into Telugu.

Prabhas looks cool with classy dance moves composed by Raju Sundaram while Shraddha Kapoor does all the dancing.

The song will surely appeal to Bollywood audience than Telugu music lovers. Telugu song was sung by Anirudh Ravichander, who does a neat job with the vocals.

Saaho is primarily a Telugu film as Prabhas has Rs. 150 crore market here, but it is a surprise to see the makers targeting Hindi market with songs like these.

Makers have once again reaffirmed that the film is releasing for Independence Day in spite of two other Bollywood movies scheduled for the same day.

KCR shut 4,000 government schools in Telangana

The Congress on Monday said the K. Chandrashekar Rao government in Telangana has shut down 4,000 state-run schools while 2,000 schools were to face closure.

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted: “The KCR government shut down 4,000 schools in the last tenure and another 2,000 schools face closure. Dismantling is the word for KCR – from Secretariat buildings to Public Education!,”

Sharing a media report claiming that around 2,000 schools in the state were at closure due to low enrollment, Surjewala termed it as “KCR’s latest body blow to Telengana’s public education”.
