“It is very much on and the film’s new schedule will begin in June,” she reveals.

US: Maharshi Fails in Second Weekend

Mahesh Babu’s “Maharshi” can safely be declared as a flop in USA market now. The film is unlikely to cross $2 million mark.

By end of its second weekend, “Maharshi” grossed mere $1.7 million. This is going to be a huge flop in overseas market.

The distributors hoped that it would perform on strong note in its second weekend as there is no competition from Hollywood or Bollywood films either but it has added less than $150k over the weekend to its total tally.

#2ndWk Fri: 48k Sat: 78k Sun: 37k Total Gross: $1.74 million

After “Brahmotsavam” and “Spyder”, this is another major flop for Mahesh Babu in overseas market.

As Mahesh Babu’s producers are increasingly demanding exorbitant prices for the the overseas rights, his movies are becoming tough to reach break-even when the word-of-mouth and reviews are not encouraging.

Pawan Kalyan: From Kingmaker to Zero!

Share

Several natural political observers opined long back that Pawan Kalyan will not have any role to play in the formation of government in Andhra Pradesh.

Either TDP or YCP will get absolute majority, there will never be fractured mandate in Telugu states, they said. The exit polls have proven them right.

Pawan Kalyan’s political strategy was totally wrong, the political pundits said.

We have to wait for three more days to know the actual results but the exit polls have painted a sorry picture of Jana Sena, Pawan Kalyan’s political party.

Pawan Kalyan and Janasainiks were hopeful that their party would secure 25 seats and either Naidu or Jagan would need their support to form the government. The exit polls say Pawan Kalyan will not be kingmaker.

He is powerstar in film industry but he is neither a star in politics, nor will he have power, as his party is going to secure at the most 5 seats. This is a huge shock for Pawan Kalyan’s fans.

His brother Megastar Chiranjeevi had seen similar humiliation from voters in 2009. 23rd May will decide Pawan Kalyan’s fate as political leader.

As of now, exit polls have given the verdict that it is going to be big flop show.
