Sai Pallavi Refused To Kiss Comrade
There are some film stars who lead their careers with certain principles. However, it’s difficult for heroines to follow ‘no lip-locks and no exposing’ policies in a glamorous field like film industry. But there are a few actresses who manage to survive well despite sticking to their principles. Sai Pallavi is one such actress.
In her career spanning 4 years and 9 movies, Sai Pallavi has never exposed her body and always chose performance oriented roles. In fact, she doesn’t sign a film if there’s no significance in her role or the story. And if her character or the script demands lip-locks, she will reject the project straight away. Pallavi had even clarified about her ‘no kissing on-screen’ policy in several interviews in the past.
Already, Sai Pallavi had lost a golden opportunity to work with legendary director Mani Ratnam in Kaatru Veliyadai (Cheliyaa) due to her no kissing policy. And now, Dear Comrade is the latest film that Sai Pallavi has turned down. The passionate lip-locks between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna was the main highlight of Dear Comrade’s teaser and trailer.
Apparently, Dear Comrade’s director Bharat Kamma had first approached Sai Pallavi for Lilly’s role. However, the Premam girl had turned down the offer politely when she was told that the lip-locks were compulsory in the movie. While Sai Pallavi’s ‘no-kissing’ principle is being appreciated by many, there are also a few people who opine that the actress will go places if she goes easy on her inhibitions and gives her nod to lip-locks.

‘Amma Vodi’ comes with terms and conditions
Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan led YSR Congress government is imposing many terms and conditions on the welfare schemes that it announced during the election campaign. First it was the pension. Jagan has promised to increase the pensions from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000. But after taking oath as CM from the very venue, Jagan announced that he would increase Rs 250 per year and for the current year, the YSRCP government is paying Rs 2250 as pension.
Now it’s the turn of ‘Amma Vodi’ which predominantly was the key factor for getting women votes. During the YSRCP’s plenary meeting couple of years back, Jagan said that mothers who will send their kids to schools, his government would pay certain amount.
From first standard to fifth, his government assured to pay Rs 500 per kid and if there are two kids, then mothers would get Rs 1000. From sixth standard to tenth, Jagan announced Rs 750 per kid and for intermediate students, it is Rs 1000. In that case, every mother who sends her kids to schools and colleges would get Rs 12,000, Rs 18,000 and Rs 24,000 for the above mentioned three categories.
While finalising the election manifesto, this scheme is name as ‘Amma Vodi’ and instead of the three categories, they summed all three into one and promised to pay Rs 15,000 per mother. However, the manifesto lacked clarity about the second child norm.
In the recently announced budget Rs 6455.80 crore were allocated to ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme but the main twist came here. The YSRCP government clarified that this scheme is applicable to mothers only with WHITE RATION CARD. There are about 80 lakh students and as per the officials estimation 43 lakh students are eligible for ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme. Also one more norm came in like a shock and the government said it would credit the amount in a mother’s ‘account’ irrespective of the count of kids.
Chiranjeevi’s Version Of ‘Chak De’ Coming Up
Megastar Chiranjeevi has fully wrapped his portions related to Sye Raa and is currently rejuvenating in gym and spa to make sure that he gets into terrific shape before he starts work on Koratala Siva’s movie.
Here is an interesting grapevine about this movie of Chiranjeevi and Koratala, which is in the pipeline for a long time as the shooting of Sye Raa got delayed. We hear that this film has unique content as Chiru will be seen playing the role of a hockey coach who is going through a mid-life crisis. Does that ring any bell?
Yes, this story sounds like that of Shahrukh Khan’s Chak De that took film lovers by a storm as the superstar played the role of Indian women’s team hockey coach. While SRK didn’t have a personal life in that film, we hear that here Chiranjeevi’s love story and family life are going to be the key.
Maybe we should conclude that this latest film is going to be Chiru’s version of Chak De through the eyes of Koratala Siva.

Allu Arvind’s Elder Son To Foray Into Bollywood
Already news is out that Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts and Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations will be producing the Hindi remake of “Jersey” together as Karan Johar opted out of the project. These two banners will join hands with the original film’s director and producer.
Reports are coming that Geetha Arts will revive their Bollywood ambitions with this project which is coming from the stable after nearly a decade, with their last Hindi film being Ghajini with Aamir Khan which released in 2008. We hear that Allu Arvind’s elder son Allu Bobby is most likely to handle the Hindi version production-related stuff, sitting at their Mumbai office.
Recently Allu Arjun is also seen flying frequently to Mumbai along with wife for partying, and that explains they have already set up a pod there. With Bunny Vasu managing the works of Geetha Arts’ Telugu productions, surely they need a new hand to do the same in Hindi, and Bobby is said to be perfectly apt for the role. Let’s wait for the official confirmation anyway.
On the other hand, while Karan Johar wanted to produce this film independently, the producer of the Telugu version is said to have expressed his desire to partner up. This led to the break of Karan from Jersey we hear.

In case Hema leaves films, there is no doubt that she will join YSR Congress party as her comments says so.
Hema added that she has immense respect for YS Jagan and thanked him for allocating Rs 2000 crore for Kapu corporation. “Jagan is a straight forward person and doesn’t hesitate to do what he wishes to. Rashmika In Plans To Turn Into ‘Lady Rowdy’
Happening hero Vijay Devarakonda is fondly called ‘Rowdy’ in the film circles for the kind of attitude and swag he has. And taking his craze to the next level, he has ventured into selling apparel as he started the ‘Rowdy’ brand menswear. It is received quite well by his fans we have to say.
Of course, actually, Vijay launched only ‘Rowdy’ men wear though some of his fans from the opposite gender are seen buying the tees with the letters ROWDY printed, and wearing them. But now, we hear that he will be bringing up his brand’s women wear too.
Reports are coming that Vijay is actually working on to partner with Rashmika Mandanna, and she will be launching the ‘Lady Rowdy’ wear under this brand. In a way, Rashmika is going to be a brand ambassador for ladies apparel of Vijay Devarakonda’s brand.
Much of the details are yet to come out, but it looks like Vijay wants to do this launching after the release of Dear Comrade movie.
Hidden Facts Behind Saaho Delay!
Quite an unexpected shock this is, as there is an unconfirmed postponement of Saaho from August 15th. With the producers not responding even after other films like Ranarangam and Evaru have announced their dates, it is obvious that Saaho is not coming. So what might have caused the real delay?
A fact that is hidden all these days is that the rendering of final shots of the massive Visual Effects this film boasts is not going to be that easy. Recently we have got a piece of news that 50% of Saaho final shots that are to be rendered are shifted from Mumbai to a Bangalore facility where they have set up expert rendering facility to get the desired output in record time. But lack of technicians in Bangalore and the delay of arrival of experts from Mumbai is said to have rocked the prospects of Saaho.
On the other hand, the background score work that is taken up by Ghibran is also getting a bit delayed as director Sujeeth is said to be quite demanding and the composer is taking his own time to give the best. So rather coming up with an inferior output, Saaho team is said to have felt that postponing is the better option.
Cut to some rumours, few trade analysts have commented that the competition from Mission Mangal and Batla House has actually pushed Saaho out of the date, but that could not be true. Because with T-Series being the producer of Saaho in Hindi, there is no way they could get the number of screens they wanted.
