Starting Troubles Continue For #Akhil4
With his first three films going for a toss, youngster Akhil Akkineni is now in a position where he can’t delivering anything less than a super hit. But then, his hyped fourth film is still in a messy position, say sources.
Actually, #Akhil4 is launched already and a schedule was shot by director Bommarillu Bhaskar. But then, the plan is to find their heroine before the second schedule starts. But now, the team is said to be shooting their next schedule at a house in Kukatpally and without the arrival of a heroine aboard.
From trying star heroines to newcomers, the team tried everything, but it looks like things didn’t move an inch. At a time when both Akhil and Bhaskar need to deliver a blockbuster, one wonders why heroine selection is hampering their journey and energy.
Until a heroine is found, it looks like starting troubles will continue for Akhil and his director. Produced by Geetha Arts on their No 2 banner, the film has Gopi Sunder scoring the music.

Did Vijay Expect Anand’s Failure In Prior?
Right from the moment an elder emerges as a huge star, the younger also will begin to flaunt his interest to act in films and we have seen in many filmy families. But, only few of them were successful. Among the current generation of actors, Vijay Devarakonda is quite a practical man who opposed his brother Anand’s entry into movies. Vijay made an attempt to convince his brother to continue with his job in US and also, he suggested him to look after their production company. But, the younger has believed that he too would become a star like Vijay and started off his film career with Dorasaani.
But, there is nothing much to discuss about Anand. Initially, Vijay maintained a distance from the promotional activities of Dorasaani but he is said have promoted it later, due to the pressure from family members. However, he too could not save the movie as audiences gave it a thumbs down.
Dorasaani is ending up as a flop, with disastrous box-office in all centers and Anand Devarakonda too is facing criticism. Some of them has striked at him saying he isn’t a proper hero material. Having estimated this result in prior, Vijay has warned his brother to stay away from movies. Certainly, it is a bitter experience for Anand who didn’t pay heed to his elder.
Swetha & Gayatri File Separate Cases On Bigg Boss3
Controversies are not new to Bigg Boss team, as this reality show always got soaked in one. And now when it comes to the Third Edition of the show, the likes of Swetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta are already accusing in the media that they are harassed by the team that approached them.
In the lines of Swetha Reddy, Fidaa fame actress Gayatri Gupta alleged that a person from Bigg Boss team asked her if she could survive inside the house for 100 days without sex. She lamented for Big Boss team treating women like sex objects and filed a police case too. She mentioned that Big Boss team confirmed her in March itself, but never they gave her an agreement to sign.
Earlier, we have Swetha Reddy accusing that Big Boss team has body shammed her and one of the people from Star Maa is said to have asked her what she will be doing to satisfy his boss. She lodged a complaint with police, giving them all the details and also included Nagarjuna’s name in that.
We have to see if police will be quick to get into this case before Bigg Boss3 hits the marquee on July 21st or they will take their own sweet time to find the truths.
Krish Struggling to Roll Next
Director Krish has agreed to direct a portion of veteran director K Raghavendra Rao’s love anthology starring Naga Shaurya.
The film will have three love stories and each episode will be handled by a director and the overall project will be supervised by Raghavendra Rao.
Krish being part of Raghavendra Rao’s close circle has agreed to direct one episode.
On the other hand, he is trying to convince a big star for his next film but it would be tough for him to start rolling this.
All big stars are fearing to work with him after the colossal failure of NTR Biopic movies. He has utterly failed with those two movies.
Krish now has to prove himself again with a medium-range movie. Although he also does have offers from Bollywood, the director wants to prove himself with a concept-based movie.
Sandeep Vanga to Buy Office in Mumbai
Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the man of the moment in Bollywood.While critics are up in arms against him after his controversial remarks against a couple of top-line critics, he is being chased by the producers to snap him for their productions.
“Kabir Singh” is all set to cross Rs 275 Cr in India. This is one of the all-time biggest hits in India.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who hails from Warangal, is now planning to change to his main base to Mumbai.
He owns a house and flat in Hyderabad but his well-wishers have advised him to concentrate on Bollywood and use all the fame that he got with the success of “Kabir Singh”.
After Ram Gopal Varma, who ruled the Bollywood industry for more than 15 years, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the only Telugu filmmaker who created such a huge sensation in Mumbai.
“Yes, I have plans for Bollywood. I am looking for a big office and residence in Mumbai,” he confirmed the reports. Sandeep Vanga is now writing a crime drama.
He has signed to do films for two Telugu producers and he also has to do a movie for Mahesh Babu. But his next film will mostly be made in Hindi.
Ram asked me to make him bad boy: Puri Jagannadh
Director Puri Jagannadh said there is loads and loads of energy in Ram and probably he is waiting for a hyper role like ‘iSmart Shankar.’
Compliment Ram further Puri said, “I was looking to work with Ram since long. Even media reported some time about our combination. One day we both met and he said he is bored of doing good boy roles and asked to make him bad boy. That moment I did not have any story for him and after couple of days, I penned this ‘iSmart Shankar’ script.”
Giving the credit to Ram for the styling, Puri said, “One day I noticed his new hair style. I liked it and asked him to continue for the title role. Costumes were also his choice. I did nothing and Ram has double the energy.”
About ‘iSmart Shankar’ plot, Puri said we take many inspirations from Hollywood film, so idea too came from there and about the Telangana slang in the film, Puri added, that did not happen something deliberately. As hero is a Hyderabadi, the language should sound authentic and so they used Hyderabadi diction.
“Both heroines Nabha and Nidhhi did a terrific job. Nabha will be seen in a complete mass avatar while Nidhhi’s role is soft,” stated Puri about the heroines.
Nagarjuna Worries of Cases on Bigg Boss!
Is Nagarjuna worrying about the unwanted cases and controversies ahead of the “Bigg Boss” show?Nagarjuna is stepping in a role that was originally performed by NTR and Nani in the first seasons.Neither NTR nor Nani had to see the embarrassing allegations from actresses.
Two actresses Swetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta had filed cases on the show’s management that they were asked how would they satisfy “Bigg Boss” if they get selected implying that they wanted some “commitment”.Both the actresses are known for making wild allegations on celebrities in the past.
When Sri Reddy case was raging high, Gayatri Gupta made many allegations of casting couch in the industry without any proof.She gave a series of interviews to Youtube channels but later she became silent. It was clear that she tried to grab the media’s attention.
Swetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta are making similar allegation after they got confirmation that they didn’t get selected as contestants for the third season.No one is taking their allegations seriously given their record. However, filing police cases has made the situation worrisome for Nagarjuna.
Generally, Star Maa TV team approaches several celebrities enquiring whether they are interested to participate in the show and also asks if they would be able to commit for 100 days of isolation from the outside world.They select only 10 or 12 persons out of 50 to 100 people they approach.
Nagarjuna has not met the media about his entry into “Bigg Boss” yet. If he meets the press, he will have to face the questions about these allegations and cases which will put him in an embarrassing situation.
The third season of this reality show will go on air from 21st July.
TDP will be confined to TANA: BJP’s Ram Madhav
BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav was heckled by spectators at TANA associations 22nd conference in Washington last week. BJP fumed over this and blamed Nara Lokesh behind insulting Ram Madhav.
After returning to AP, Ram Madhav has opened about this whole episode for the first time. Speaking at Guntur in BJP’s Andhra Pradesh office bearers meeting, Ram Madhav said in future TDP will be just confined to TANA conferences and the party will be nowhere seen. “People got vexed with TDP government and so they restricted the party to opposition. Also they have no hope further on TDP. BJP is emerging as alternative to the ruling party in state,” said Ram Madhav.
The BJP leader added that all the irrigation projects in AP are care of corruption. Except for digging up the land, no progress is seen at Polavaram dam and this shows TDP’s incompetence,” stated Ram Madhav. He also appealed to the party workers to strive for spreading BJP across the state.
“Every leader and worker should work for party’s victory in the 2024 elections. Also BJP is not doing anything for Gandhi-free India as Rahul Gandhi is busy doing it,” quipped the BJP leader.
I Badly Need A Hit – Puri Jagan
Director Puri Jagannadh, who had delivered several blockbuster and trendsetting films in the past like Pokiri, Idiot, Badri, Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi, is waiting for a successful film since Temper. Direly in need for success, Puri for the first time has teamed up with Ram Pothineni and he has chosen a pucca Telangana backdrop.
Failures
After Temper, I don’t have a hit film. I badly need a hit. Keeping this in mind, I’ve come up with iSmart Shankar and made the film with utmost care. I thought ‘iSmart’ for this film and made the movie with my “iSmart”ness. And the film has come out really well and we are quite confident of scoring a hit.
iSmart Concept
The theme of iSmart Shankar is a chip being inspired into hero Ram’s head by the cops. Why they did so, what was their motive and what are the consequences have to be seen on the screen. The concept of the chip has been losely inspired from several Hollywood films which usually have scientific, technology backdrop. But this concept has been adapted to suit our nativity. The Telangana backdrop gives a different touch to the film.
Ram Pothineni (Ra Po)
Ram has bundle of energy and his energy has not been tapped to the full potential by any director so far. I’ve made an attempt to use his energy for this film. He is a perfect suit for the role of an authentic Telangana youth. Niddhi will be seen as a modern girl whereas Nabha essays the role of a Telangana girl. Both have done their parts well.
Balayya’s Film
I’m yet to complete my script for Balayya. Once it is done, I’ll meet him and narrate him. I love directing Balayya. And the film I will do with Balayya will be the biggest hit in my career.
