Trisha’s mother rubbishes rumours

Dusky beauty Trisha got a much needed success with ’96’ and now she is mostly doing the female-oriented film. ‘Raangi’ is the upcoming movie of her and director AR Murugadoss has provided the script for this movie.

On the sets, Trisha is rumored to have fallen unconscious and was rushed to the hospital. Though no one from the team acknowledged this, social media is strongly talking about Trisha’s health condition.

Rubbing these rumors, Trisha’s mother Uma Krishnan said there is no truth in them and Trisha is doing absolutely fine. She is shooting day and night for the film and it is coming out quite well.

‘Raangi’ is being directed by Murugadoss assistant Saravanan.

When Sai Pallavi Cried On The Sets

Just with her debut film Premam, Tamil beauty Sai Pallavi Senthamari has amassed so much fame that all the filmwoods in the south are looking at her in awe. Then some films like Fidaa and Maari 2 have only added more feathers to her cap.

After a couple of flops, Sai Pallavi will be next seen in Surya’s NGK, which is set to hit cinemas on May 31st. Talking about his colleague, star hero Surya revealed that she is a tough woman. He stated that there were times she will cry on the sets of NGK after she failed to do particular scene or shot.

“This film is such a political thriller that it demanded lots of acting from all the leads. Especially from Sai Pallavi who plays the role of protagonist’s wife, director Sri Raghava (Selva Raghavan) wanted more from her. At times when she failred to deliver the needful, she broke into tears” said Surya, adding, “She’s such a passionate actress I’ve ever seen”.

Surya revealed that even he himself has learned many things from the director after acting in this movie. “This film is a political vision of Selva Raghavan and it is a beautiful take we have to say” signs off Surya.

‘Mahesh will become a director one day’

Glamorous beauty Pooja Hegde, who is all set to rock big screens with one of the awaited flicks Maharshi, opposite Mahesh Babu, has graced the pre-release event yesterday.

Pooja, during her speech, said that ‘Mahesh will become a successful film director one day’. She also said that working with Maharshi team is an unforgettable experience in her life. “I learnt a lot of good things from Mahesh. His voice modulation is amazing. He will, one day, definitely go on to become a successful director. His perspective of viewing things has always been different and unique,” she added.

However, Mahesh reacted to pooja’s statements in his speech by saying, ‘I will never get into direction. It is not my forte’ and I cannot even imagine myself as a director. I’m an actor and all I need to do is entertain the audience with my acting talent. Let me do my work and let directors do their work (laughs)’.

I am Not Talking With Overconfidence -Vamsi Paidipally

The trailer of ‘Maharshi’ was screened to the thousands of fans at People’s Plaza in Necklace road, after which director Vamsi Paidipally stepped in to ask, “How did you like it fans? Are those elevation shots of your hero satisfactory?”. Well, that sounded like a bit of overconfidence for sure, but the director has something else to say.

“Mahesh is a superstar, not just as an actor, but as a human being. Whenever I felt low, he used to back me up. He has sent me SMSes at night, saying that our journey will have commas but no full stops”, revealed Vamsi, about his bonding with the Superstar. Later he added, “I am promising in front of all your fans sir, I am giving a blockbuster to you”, talking directly to Mahesh.

“I’m not saying this overconfidence. I know the product we have made. Like already many revealed, the climax of the film will break you into tears. You will know that on May 9th” said Vamsi, further stressing on the film’s result. Let’s hope the directors assumptions will come true.

What Is Samantha Doing In Portugal?

After the super success of Majili at the box office, queen bee Samantha Akkineni is actually taking a long break before she joins films yet again. Earlier she mentioned that after promoting Oh Baby, then she will join the shooting of 96 remake featuring Sharwa in the lead.

But as a surprise, Samantha shared on her Instagram story that she’s very much in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. And that explains many things. Samantha is actually in the European city not just for fun and relaxing, but for the shooting of Manmadhudu 2 which is happening right there.

While Sam will be seen in a small cameo along with Chay, currently she’s finishing her part of the shoot. She has two reasons to do this cameo, one is that Nagarjuna is her father in law and other is that director Rahul Ravindran is her first film’s hero, and also her good friend Chinmayi’s husband.

After wrapping the Portugal shoot, Sam might spend her whole of summer in European escapades before returning to India to promote Oh Baby and join other film shootings.

Pawan Kalyan Teaming Up With Harish Shankar

While the results of AP elections are yet to come, it looks like Pawan Kalyan is already in the process of paying back the loans he took from some film producers. And his first focus is on fulfilling the advance taken from Mythri Movie Makers, say some reports.

Though Pawan stated that he kept out films as his political journey has started, there are always reports that he will switch to films post the election. With Janasena not surely in a position to come to power, surely Pawan will get plenty of time to do films. And now, it looks like he has given nod to three such projects.

Reportedly Mythri Movie Makers are said to have brought in Harish Shankar to narrate a story to Pawan Kalyan. As this director already crafted Pawan’s career turning blockbuster Gabbar Singh, it will be easy for him to convince the superstar again. Earlier Mythri pitched a couple of stories through Santosh Srinivas but they didn’t materialise.

In the meantime, Harish is directing Varun Tej in Valmiki, which happens to be a remake of Tamil movie Jigarthanda.

Manchu hero announces fourth child arrival

Hero Manchu Vishnu and his wife Viranica are expecting their fourth child. Short while ago, Vishnu took to his Twitter handle to make this announcement and also shared a picture. In it Vishnu is seen hugging Viranica from behind at the famous Brooklyn bridge, New York and both are super happy.

He wrote that the place is Viranica’s favourite one and they both are delighted on the arrival of fourth angel.

Vishnu is already blessed with three kids. The first are twins, Ariana and Viviana. The third is a boy and he was named after Vishnu’s father, Mohan Babu, Avram Bhakta Manchu.

On the work front, Vishnu is scouting locations for his upcoming movie which is touted to be a big budget fantasy drama.

BJP begins backchannel talks to gain Jagan’s nod

Hyderabad: Gearing up for the post-poll scenario, where it may need support from non-NDA parties, BJP has begun backchannel talks with YSR Congress Party, which may emerge as a kingmaker in the event of a hung Parliament.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah is said to have begun backchannel talks with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, whose YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is likely to bag majority of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.

According to sources, the talks are on over Jagan’s charter of demands with Special Category Status (SCS) to the state topping the list. Other demands could include number of ministries for YSRCP and the financial and other assistance the state would get from Delhi.

However, there was no confirmation from YSRCP leadership about the backchannel talks. Party leaders said they were not aware of any talks between Jagan and Shah.

The final four phases of the poll, started on April 29, is described as the real election for BJP. Out of 240 seats that are at stake in these phases, BJP had bagged more than 160 in 2014 polls.

If things do not move its way in these crucial phases, the BJP may have to look for support from others, especially someone like Jagan, given the number of seats his party is predicted to win.

The BJP leaders, however, feel that some of the demands put forth by Jagan as a precondition for support were outlandish. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raids on YSRCP leader and industrialist K. Raghu Rama Krishna Raju in an alleged Rs 947 crore bank loan default case on Tuesday assumed significance in this backdrop. The BJP apparently wanted to send a message to Jagan.

Mahesh Takes A Dig At Sukumar

Mahesh Babu showered praises upon Vamsi Paidipalli for patiently waiting for him even after having full bound script on hands.

“I told him that I have some commitments to fulfil before I start working on Maharshi and he was okay with it. He patiently waited for two years and I thank him for it,” Mahesh said.

“This is a time when directors are so impatient that they wouldn’t wait for two months let alone two years. They will go with the same script to other actors,” Mahesh took a dig at Sukumar, who refused to wait for some time and announced a movie with Allu Arjun.

RRR’s Full form Ragupati Raghava Rajaram?

Rajamouli and his team reportedly have locked the final title for “RRR”. As Rajamouli mentioned earlier, “RRR” will be the title in all the four languages it is being made.

“RRR” has now got full form. Going by a latest poster the team has shared on platform, they seemed to have locked ‘RRR: Ragupati Raghava Rajaram’ as its complete title.

When Rajmouli first announced “RRR”, he said it is abbreviation for their names Rajamouli, NT’R’ and Ram Charan as the trio had collaborated for this mega project.

Since “RRR” became quite popular, he is using it as the title as it is catchy and can easily be trended well on social media.

As the film is set in 1920’s pre-Independence era, Ragupati Raghava Rajaram rings well for this theme. Incidentally, Ragupati Raghava Rajaram was Mahatma Gandhi’s most favorite Bhajan song.

“RRR” is under progress in Hyderabad. Ram Charan is essaying the role of younger version of Manyam king Alluri Seetharama Raju and NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem, the tribal warrior of Adilabad.

Alia Bhatt has been cast opposite Ram Charan but lead heroine for NTR is yet to be finalized. Nithya Menen is being considered for one role.

Naidu not in PM race, but to decide PM

He made this clear, while speaking to media in Amaravati on Wednesday.Reacting to the comment made by Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar that Naidu could become a better Prime Minister than Modi, the TDP chief said he had never aspired for the Prime Minister post nor was he interested in the big chair.

He, however, asserted that he would be part of the core team comprising the Congress and other regional parties to decide on the prime ministerial candidate after the announcement of results scheduled on May 23.

“Let us not speculate anything on the PM post, as the remaining three phases of general elections are yet to be completed. After the announcement of results, the Congress and other like-mined parties will sit together and we shall ecide on who the PM candidate will be,” he said.

Naidu came down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ridiculing the opposition parties on their PM ambitions.

He was referring to Modi’s comments at a meeting in Uttar Pradesh that those who could not even get the leader of opposition status are now getting their clothes stitched for the Prime Minister post.

“This is a very cheap comment from a leader of Prime Minister’s stature to talk about clothes of opposition leaders. Such talk does not augur well for his position. He is in fact denigrating the image of the PM chair, which was occupied by respected leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Vajyapee and Manmohan Singh,” Naidu said.

Reminding the Rs 10 lakh suit of Modi, Naidu said: “Modi will wear a dress for breakfast, another for dinner and change the dress for every meeting. But, we in the Mahagathbandhan are not interested in such ostentatious dresses”.
