Why is KTR silent on Inter fiasco?

Share

The unusual silence of Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K T Rama Rao over the goofs-up in the declaration of Intermediate examination results that led to the suicides of nearly 20 students has surprised the opposition parties.

Normally, KTR has the habit of reacting on any major issue immediately on his social media platforms. But so far, he has not made any comments.

His father and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao also reacted to the fiasco in the Intermediate results only after five days and death of as many as 18 students. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee leader Ponnam Prabhakar wondered why KTR was tight-lipped over the bungling in Intermediate examinations results.

“The answer is obvious. The private company Globarena got Rs 125 crore contract in the Intermediate board only with the recommendation of KTR,” he alleged. Ponnam criticised that the TRS government was intentionally destroying the educational system in the state. He demanded the government to reveal the three member committee report regarding inter results issue.

Telangana Jana Samithi president Prof M Kodandaram said KCR was neglecting the education sector only because he did not want educated youth question the failures of his government. He threatened to lead a massive rally to Intermediate Board to demand sacking of its secretary.

Avengers End Game Movie Review

Share

Avengers: Infinity War had left fans shell shocked by ending it on an wildly unpredictable note. The bad guy Thanos not only wins over the powerful and most loved superheroes The Avengers but also wipes out half the living beings on the earth including some superheroes with the snap of a finger. Avengers: Endgame starts few weeks after the chaos and the remaining superheroes are left dispirited and weak. They want to avenge the loss of their loved ones. But will revenge itself let them live in peace?

Avengers: Endgame is not just any superhero film. It is the culmination of more than twenty movies in the Marvel cinematic universe. Directors Russo brothers had a Herculean task on hands as they need to deliver a film that lives up to the humongous hype and endless expectations of the fans of the franchise. The writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely made it an easy job by penning a spectacular and a satisfying finale to the most loved film of the last decade.

The film is all about moments. Every superhero character gets to shine no matter how miniscule their role is. The beauty of Endgame is it never thrives to create that whistle worthy fan moments. Even the best heroic shots or scenes come as a part of the film. Some characters are introduced just without any buildup and some enters the scene with a bang. However, none of the entries go unnoticed. Almost ninety percent of the characters gets an applause from the audience at their introduction.

Another interesting thing about the franchise is showing the most powerful characters in a comical way. Hulk’s transformation is just hilarious and he steals the show in his entry scenes. Also the self-proclaimed strongest avenger Thor gets another shocking transformation and he is fun to watch. There is that Big Lebowski vibe to his character that is addressed by the Ironman character in a scene. Avengers has lots of drama but the conversations are lively and funnier all the time. The references to other movies are hilarious.

Audience and fans expect to see a grand spectacle of action episodes from a movie of this scale. The directors are aware of it, but they don’t just provide them all the time. They make us wait for it with proper buildup to the final act. Marvel Cinematic Universe has changed the outlook of superhero films by making drama a vital part of the storytelling. Avengers: Endgame has some powerful emotional moments that any fan would want to undo. The most defining moments are the ones where Ironman and Thor meets their father and mother respectively. It is just hard to analyze Avengers: Endgame without giving away the spoilers. But we are making our best efforts to not to give away anything that fans wouldn’t want to know without watching the movie.

Not many movies were successful in giving a perfect ending to a popular franchise. It is a lot of exercise for the director as well as the writers to connect all the dots and make sure to have a significant role for all the important characters. The ending will leave a lump in the throat for fans for sure even though it isn’t as heartbreaking as the ending of Infinity War. This film is sure to leave everyone satisfied no matter how hyped up they are. Avengers: Endgame will not only break the tons of box office records but also will win millions of hearts. It is a movie that needs to be watched on the larger screen possible and trust me you will love it 3000

KTR Sensational Comments On NTR And KCR

Naidu A Better PM Than Rahul?

Share

At a time when every survey is indicating that the chances of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu coming to power in Andhra Pradesh for a second term are very bleak, senior politician and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar made a surprising comment on Naidu.

He told a television channel in an interview that Chandrababu Naidu could be a better choice for the post of Prime Minister of the country than Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

“Naidu is a better face of the non-BJP political parties in the country to be projected as the prime ministerial candidate than Rahul Gandhi,” he said.

In the same breath, Pawar also indicated that Trinamul Congress chief Mamata Banerjee or Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati could also be better contenders for the PM post than Rahul Gandhi.

“We don’t mind whether it is Mamata or Maya or Naidu for the PM post, if the non-NDA coalition comes to power. All the talks about Rahul as a Prime Minister are baseless,” he said.

The NCP president further hinted at forging alliances with some of the NDA alliance partners after the election and bringing them into the UPA fold.

On whether he would be in the race for the prime minister post, Pawar said in the negative.

“There are many other good leaders in the country capable of becoming Prime Minister. After elections are over, we will come with a common minimum programme to provide an alternative to the country,” he asserted.

IAS silent, but employees fume at TDP!

Share

The IAS officers in Andhra Pradesh preferred to play safe by not coming out openly against Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for making derogatory references to chief secretary L V Subrahmanyam, though their retired colleagues complained to Governor E S L Narasimhan against Naidu.

But, the state government employees are not remaining silent over the high-handed attitude of the TDP leaders, who are obviously emboldened by Naidu’s attack on the chief secretary.

In the latest episode, TDP legislator from Venkatagiri Kurugondla Ramakrishna for using un-Parliamentary language against a state government employee working as a Bay Food Technical Assistant (BFTA) morning in a phone conversation.

“He was questioning the employee on postal ballots and threatened to skin the government employees if they did not vote for the TDP. Though the employee pleaded ignorance, the MLA continued his tirade,” Andhra Pradesh State Government Employees Association president Suryanarayana.

He took strong objection to the comments made by the MLA against employees and the administrative system.

Demanding an apology from the MLA, Suryanarayana said he had brought the issue to the notice of the Chief Election Commissioner at New Delhi and he, in turn, had instructed the Nellore District Collector to enquire into the matter and submit a report.

He also asked the Chief Minister to rein in his partymen who were misbehaving with the State government staff.

He, while condemning the remarks, said Naidu’s criticism against the chief secretary L V Subramanyam and Chief Electoral Officer Gopalakrishna Dwivedi emboldened the TDP leaders to behave rudely with the government employees with unbridled arrogance.

Suryanarayana also blamed employees’ unions which toed the line of the TDP government for the past five years.

“Some leaders cheated the employees by blatantly supporting the ruling party for their gains,” he said.

IPL 2019: Russell Slams KKR for ‘Bad Decisions’

Share

Kolkata: One of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Andre Russell has taken the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) by storm with virtuoso displays, amassing 406 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate of 209.27.

But the same cannot be said about his team as KKR have now lost their last six games and are placed sixth in the points table with 8 points after 11 games. And Russell feels that bad decisions cost KKR the games, as they used the wrong bowlers at the wrong time.

“We have been making bad decisions, (and if we keep repeating them) we will always lose games and that’s what we’ve been doing. I could pinpoint a few games where had we just looked to bowl in the right areas or maybe, bowl bowlers who could have restricted the game, it would have made a difference,” Russell rued.

Terming KKR the worst fielding side, Russell opined that the batting hasn’t been the problem.

“The batting hasn’t been struggling really. We got the totals that we should have defended. We’ve been the worst fielding team so far,” he said.

Russell had previously expressed his desire to bat at No. 4. Quizzed whether that has been discussed, the Jamaican said he would be used as a floater in the team.

“I have had conversations with the coach. He’s backing me to go in whenever the team needs me. They are going to have me as a floater now instead of me always batting down the order. If they need me to bat at No. 3-4, that would be my job,” he said.

On the team morale, Russell said since KKR’s defeat to Rajasthan Royals on Thursday, he has not stepped out of his hotel room.

“I have been in my room for the last couple of days. After losing one game after another, I’m not the type of guy who would walking around, pretending that I’m doing something good. We have to have passion inside and not show it on TV. I am very passionate inside,” Russell said.

Talking about KKR’s match against Mumbai Indians on Sunday, Russell said it will take a miracle for them to beat Rohit Sharma and Co.

“We played Rajasthan Royals and were defeated by a weak batting order. If we can’t restrict the other team at 170+ with our bowling, we are going to need miracles against a strong team like MI,” he said.

The 30-year, who got a World Cup call up from the West Indies riding on his stellar displays, was the reason KKR won three of their four games so far before succumbing to six defeats on the bounce.

Russell was adjudged Man of the Match in those three games, the most sensational being his 13-ball 48* against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru on April 5, when he snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

“I have never feared any bowler. Never. Bowlers fear me,” Russell said.

Russell was asked if the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga could trouble him on Sunday. “I’m not bragging, I can get out in one ball tomorrow or the first ball they bowl can go for six.

“Bumrah is a top bowler, so is Malinga. But they are human beings too. They can bowl a few balls that slip off their fingers, don’t come out like they normally do. And I’m in business then,” said Russell who has so far plundered 42 sixes, the highest by a distance this season.

KKR need to win their remaining three games and hope other results go their way in order to make it to the playoffs.
