Allu Bobby Says First Wife Is Still Family

Share

The wedding of Allu Arjun’s elder brother Allu Bobby has become topic of the town since the last two days as he announced it through social media. Also with Bobby giving clarity that he got peacefully divorced in 2016 and re-married now, many netizens are asking him about his first wife, Neelima Bandi.

Apparently, some netizens went on asking, when Bobby divorced Neelima in 2016, how come she’s present at the Allu family’s Diwali events and also at their daughter Anvitha’s birthday party in the recent February. While these questions are foolish to ask, because divorced parents coming together for their kids is not a rare or undoable thing, Bobby has answers for them all.

Bobby says that Neelima is still family no matter that they divorced a couple of years ago. Also their daughter Anvitha is the first girl child in the family as Allu Arvind all three sons, and Allu Arjun is blessed with a daughter only recently. That said, Neelima is closer to her in-laws and even after divorce, she keeps in touch with all of them.

In a single statement, Bobby added, “Neelima is still family, always and forever. We have a beautiful child Anvitha”.

There has been talk that Pawan Kalyan will take up film production seriously as he needs money.

Pawan Kalyan has decided to continue in politics despite his electoral debut turning out to be a huge disaster. It is true that he will revive his Pawan Kalyan Creative Works banner but not now.

His production house will start producing films from next year. Ram Charan has already agreed to do a film for Pawan Kalyan’s banner.

Not only Ram Charan, all stars from mega camp that include Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej have given their nod. But before that Pawan Kalyan needs young directors and proper scripts.

This is the major challenge. Pawan Kalyan is not judging scripts properly in the recent times. So, he may take his brother Chiranjeevi’s suggestions in making this banner viable.

Our Telugu director Sandeep Reddy Vanga who shot to fame with “Arjun Reddy” is now facing severe disapproval from Bollywood critics.

His “Kabir Singh” which is remake of “Arjun Reddy” will collect Rs 60 Cr in just three days. The movie has already been declared as a huge blockbuster by trade pundits.

But Bollywood critics have given the film low ratings and they are using social media platforms to trash the movie. They have termed the film is all about a sick guy who uses abusive words.

Some are terming the film is representation of male chauvinism. Taking this opportunity, a section of Bollywood analysts even terming all Telugu audiences as misogynists.

Sandeep Vanga is not responding to the criticism. He is maintaining stoic silence. Strangely, some critics who had raved the Telugu version are now slamming the Hindi version.

Sandeep Vanga is now celebrating the film’s massive success in Mumbai. He is already flooded with offers in Bollywood.

Young Hero’s Sharp Counter To Critic

Share

Out of the negative reviews on Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, one review stood out for its outright feminist stand. The critic not just bashed the film, but she went onto bash the original film and the Telugu audiences who made it the blockbuster. This is what hasn’t gone down well with young hero Sundeep Kishan who is in totally love of Arjun Reddy.

In a sharp and befitting counter to the critic, Sundeep posted a series of tweets cornering the said critic’s one-sided review. “Judging a film based on your personal taste is one thing…But judging the audience who liked it is a whole diff level of narcissism…I loved Arjun Reddy and stand by my opinion…And just in case…Here you go…guess we are not alone afterall…#Telugu #TeluguAudience,” wrote Sundeep who also shared the Hindi remakes of Telugu movies that did phenomenally well at the Box Office,” wrote Sundeep.

Sundeep also noted that how several Telugu movies were remade in Hindi and earned crores at the BO. It can be recalled that Temper was remade as Simmba (400.19 Crore), Kick was remade as Kick (388.7 Crore), Kshanam was remade as Baaghi 2 (254.33 Crore), Vikramarkudu was remade as Baaghi 2 (254.33 Crore), Stalin as Jai Ho (195.04 Crore), Ready as Ready (188.5 Crore), Maryada Ramanna as Son of Sardaar (161.48 Crore), Varsham as Baaghi (125.92 Crore), Pokiri as Wanted (87.42 Crore), Parugu as Heropanti (77.9 Crore) and the list goes on.

Overall, Sundeep’s tweets standing for Telugu audiences is a laudable move.

Vijay Devarkonda’s Brother Shocked By Trolls

Share

When the teaser of the film ‘Dorasani’ has released, which marks the debut of hero Vijay Devarakonda’s brother as the main lead alongside Sr Hero Rajasekhar’s younger daughter Sivathmika, many have trolled the youngster. This happened because they compared him with his brother when it comes to acting.

Also, other day when Anand shared a video on social media where he has danced to the tune of the song ‘Horn Ok Please’ along with Sivathmika, netizens trolled him for his poor dancing skills. Reacting on all this, Anand says, “I’ve expected there will be some sort of trolling, but never thought there will be such negativity. But I can assure that once the film releases, my acting potential will impress them all”, exuding confidence in the result of the movie.

The young hero also mentioned that his brother hasn’t promoted him till date because he doesn’t want it to look like Vijay using fame to get offers for his brother. Reports are coming that Vijay will be speaking about his brother only at the pre-release event but not before that on Twitter or anywhere else.

Pakistan fan compares skipper Sarfaraz to fat pig

Share

London: Pakistan fans have made their displeasure known on social media ever since the team’s poor show against arch-rivals India in their World Cup encounter in Manchester and a fresh video has surfaced wherein skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has been compared to a fat pig.

Sarfaraz was walking in a mall in England with his son on his lap when a fan stopped him and asked why he was looking like a fat pig. The fan then posted the video on social media.

This is not the first time when fans have crossed the line and gotten personal with the Pakistan players. In fact, photos of Shoaib Malik, his wife Sania Mirza and Wahab Riaz partying on the eve of the India-Pakistan game started doing the rounds soon after their loss to Virat Kohli and boys on June 16.

In a game that was completely dominated by India, Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir was the only bright spot as he returned figures of 3/47 from his 10 overs. And while the fans were not pleased and took to social media to ridicule the players, Amir had requested them to not use bad words even though they were free to criticise the players.

Taking to Twitter, Amir wrote: “Pls dont use bad words for the players yes u guys can criticise our performance we will bounce back InshAllah we need ur support (sic).”

Shoaib Malik also added his bit on Twitter and wrote: “On behalf of all athletes I would like to request media and people to maintain respect levels in regards to our families, who should not be dragged into petty discussions at will. It’s not a nice thing to do.”

Interestingly, the Pakistan Cricket Board had come out with a clarification that the photos of the players dining and partying till late on the eve of the high-voltage clash was actually not from the eve of the game.

“The cricketers did not violate their curfew,” a PCB spokesperson told DawnNewsTV.

“The videos and photographs that went viral (on social media) are from two days before the match. The day before the match against India, all the players were in their hotel rooms by curfew time.”

Lokesh should own responsibility for TDP loss

Share

It has been a month since the Telugu Desam Party faced a humiliating defeat in the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, conceding 151 out of 175 assembly seats to YSR Congress party led by firebrand leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Though the TDP had won the lowest number of MLAs it ever had – just 23, the party is yet to have a review of what had gone wrong with the party and where. There has been no such effort either from the party seniors or boss N Chandrababu Naidu.

Without even doing a comprehensive review of the reasons for the party’s debacle and taking corrective steps, Naidu chose to fly away to Europe on a holiday with the family, leaving the party in doldrums.

That is precisely why the party leaders have decided to take a plunge into the BJP in his absence.

Ironically, nobody – either Naidu or his son Nara Lokesh – has taken the responsibility for the defeat of the party in the elections.

Though nobody would expect Naidu to step down as the party president, many party leaders are of view that at least Lokesh should take the responsibility and resign from the party’s general secretary post.

Party seniors say Naidu should take up a comprehensive overhauling of the TDP and as part of it, he should first sack his son from the party general secretary post.

Lokesh not only could not win his own assembly seat from Mangalagiri, but also failed to give proper leadership to the party.

In fact, one of the reasons for the TDP’s defeat was the fear that Naidu might anoint Lokesh as his successor, if he comes back to power.

The people had absolutely no faith in Lokesh who had neither leadership qualities nor mass appeal.

Even senior party leaders were feeling unhappy with Lokesh. They felt his corporate style of functioning was not suited to lead a political party.

“Unless Naidu drops Lokesh from his think-tank, the party leaders and common people will not regain faith in the TDP. If Lokesh continues to be at the helm, the party will sink further,” a party leader said.
