Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took a key decision on the issue related to flaws in Intermediate Examination Results. During the meeting with Minister Jagadish Reddy and Inter Board Officials, CM decided to conduct Free Revaluation in the best interest of all the failed students.
Over 3 lakh Students were failed in Telangana Intermediate Examinations in 2019. Now, There is no need for them to pay any fee for Revaluation.
KCR instructed the Education Ministry to complete the revaluation and conduct the supplementary examinations as early as possible, so that Students who clear the examination needn’t have to waste an academic year. He assigned the duty of monitoring Revaluation, Recounting and holding Advance Supplementary to the Secretary of Education Ministry Janardhan Reddy.
Telangana CM expressed shock over the suicides of Inter Students in the state after failing in the examination. He appealed Students not to take the extreme steps saying life is precious and one needn’t end it just because they failed in an examination.
Harish Rao Might Revolt Against KCR and TRS
Post the Telangana assembly elections, KCR made his son KTR as working president and kept his nephew Harish Rao aside. Also in the cabinet, Harish did not find his name and then rumours started making that KCR is wantedly cornering the Siddipet MLA. There is a panic among TRS party workers too and adding fuel to the fire, KCR’s niece Ramya Rao, said Harish might revolt if things go to the extreme.
But Ramya Rao opined that Harish may not do that as KCR was the one gave political birth to Harish and only under KCR’s leadership, he emerged as a strong leader over the years. ”I don’t think Harish will come out of the party. But if he feels completely unsafe, he might step out of TRS,” said Ramya. She also said that she and Harish were with KCR before and after setting up TRS but family members from US started noticing TRS growing. ”They got to know TRS is getting strengthened. They came all the way from US and hijacked the party from us. So I left TRS but Harish remained as a follower of KCR,” added Ramya.
When asked about KTR’s capabilities, Ramya replied that as KCR was CM and party president, he got the opportunity and worked hard to live up to the expectations. ”Time will answer whether KTR will be able to handle politics, government and family as things won’t be the same all the time,” said Ramya.
Inter-Disaster: KCR and Pawan Kalyan finally Woke Up
Intermediate student-suicides created a panic situation in Telangana state while the Government stayed mum for almost four days with any proper immediate action. Finally, the CM KCR responded on this burning issue, announcing the free re-verification and re-counting for students who failed in these examinations.
Also, the students who passed the examinations also can apply for re-counting and re-verification with a mentioned fee like usual. He also ordered the officials to finish the process of recounting at the earliest and conduct advanced supplementary exams, so the failed students won’t be losing their academic year.
Speaking on student-suicides, KCR said it is painful and unwanted.
Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, who went on exile since the elections are over, has now finally woke up to give a formal tweet from Janasena official Twitter handle. The Janasena party asks the government to take full responsibility on these internal discrepancies within the Inter board and has asked students not to take their lives.
The late responses from Pawan and KCR are being highly criticized on social media. On the other side, the netizens and public have been directly targeting the loud mouth film celebrities belonging to YSRC, as the latter chose to remain tight-lipped when they have to question the Telangana government.
TDP Leaders Did Not Like Chandrababu’s Idea?

The Telugu Desam Party supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu has recently asked all his legislators and party cadre to begin a new trend by thanking voters for turning up in large numbers and voting for the party. Despite glitches with EVMs, mass malfunctioning reported across the state, he appreciated voters for being so patience and standing in queues to cast their vote.
Taking this example, the TDP chief directed his MLAs and MPs to visit their constituencies and thank voters. This, according to Chandrababu, will create an attitude of gratitude for leaders while voters will feel empowered. While voting trend has been pretty evident this time, voters have been tight-lipped about who they chose. There is information that the high voter-turnout points to a pro-incumbency vote for the government.
On the other hand, YSR Congress has been declaring itself as the winner and also attempted the gimmick of getting CM nameplate for its president Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy. However, Telugu Desam Party MLAs and MPs are a confused lot. On one side, they are instructed to thank voters, but on the other, they do not know whether these voters have voted for their party of YSRCP or Jana Sena.
With still month to go for election results, TDP leaders are wondering whether this is a good idea. Some of them say that if they thank voters now and if YSR Congress wins, they would look like fools in front of people for assuming a wave. On the other hand, many of them are secretly whispering that the TDP chiefs idea is a bad one and may backfire if YSRCP wins.
KCR orders re-verification for failed students
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Wednesday ordered free re-verification of answer sheets of all the intermediate students who failed in the examinations.
The decision came amid a row over the goof-ups by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TIBE) in declaring results, which allegedly led to suicide of 10 students since last week and triggered protests by parents and opposition parties.
With two more students ending their lives and protests continuing on Wednesday, the Chief Minister reviewed the situation with senior officials.
In case of students who passed but prefer re-verification and re-counting, it would be done as per the prevailing norms and regulations, the Chief Minister said.
KCR, as the Chief Minister is popularly known, asked officials to expedite the re-verification and re-counting process and complete that as early as possible. It should be followed by advanced supplementary examinations to prevent loss of the academic year, he added.
Education Secretary B. Janardhan Reddy has been entrusted with the responsibility of competing the process. The Chief Minister also instructed officials to evolve a strategy for smooth conduct of examinations and evaluation.
Expressing shock over suicides of ‘few’ students who failed in the intermediate examination, he said it was ‘most unfortunate’. He appealed students not to resort to suicide as failing in intermediate examinations did not mean end of life.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s office, of the 9.74 lakh students who appeared for the intermediate examinations, 3.28 lakh failed. “Some students and their parents are of the opinion that during the process of addition of marks, mistakes took place resulting in less marks than expected and hence they failed,” it said.
KCR also asked officials to examine whether the responsibility of conducting examinations be entrusted to an autonomous body. “It has to be examined whether the responsibility of conducting examinations could be entrusted to an autonomous body. The best practices in other states and other countries are to be studied for implementing in our state,” he said.
“The government faces problems every time intermediate examinations and EAMCET are conducted. The government, students and their parents face trouble every time. This needs to be avoided,” KCR said.
