Short Temper Balayya Beats TDP Youth; Video Goes Viral
It was a pretty ‘filmy’ scene at film star and TDP’s Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna’s election campaign at Cheepurupalle, Vizianagaram, on Sunday. A video, in which Balakrishna was seen landing punches on a youngater with his hands and legs on the road in full public view, has been going viral on social media since yesterday.
Going into the details, one of the enthusiastic fans was unknowingly pushed onto Balayya by the heavy crowds during the actor-politician’s road show. Known for his short temper, Balayya immediately grabbed the man amidst the crowds and began hitting him. The situation turned dramatic when Balayya chased the fan when he tried to escape from his blows. Fans who were shouting ‘Jai Balayya’ slogans in full volume, were shell-shocked to see what was happening in front of their eyes.
Needless to say that Balayya’s shocking behaviour was vehemently targeted by TDP’s detractors and even neutral public. Many opined that it’s high time Balayya mended his ways and maintained restraint during public events. On the other hand, Balayya’s act has become a hit with meme makers, as several hilarious memes have been doing the rounds on the internet. “Parigethinchi…parigethinchi kottina Balayya,” said a meme.
Bunny’s Master Stroke: From Zero To Three In 3 Months
Three months ago, when has taken almost a year break post the release of his last outing Na Peru Surya, many wondered what is going wrong with the stylish star. And then, he is a different man just three months later as he got now three projects under his belt.
Allu Arjun has upset his fans by not signing any film for a long time as he took a long break to recover from the jolt his last release gave him. But now, he has three films in the pipeline, including that of his co-production with Trivikram, a movie with Sukumar and Icon with Venu Sriram.

Heroine’s Father Trying To Buy Daughter’s Film
Senior hero, Rajasekhar’s both the daughters Sivani and Sivathmika are set for a silver screen debut as leading ladies. Though younger one Sivathmika’s film Dorasani with Vijay Devarakonda’s brother Anand has reached completion, somehow elder one Sivani’s film, a remake of Hindi blockbuster 2 States, got stalled.
Due to creative differences between debutant director Venkat and hero Adivi Sesh, this film is not going on as planned. The issues came to Director’s association and MAA as well, but nothing got settled. And the latest we hear is that Rajasekhar and Jeevitha are in discussions to take over this project from the original producer.
2 States is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name where Adivi Sesh will be seen as a Telugu guy and Sivani as a Bengali girl. But somehow the way director Venkat carved this sensible love story is not satisfying Sesh, who himself is a writer and director.
And now, with Rajasekhar trying to buy the film from the producer, Jeevitha might helm the rest of the shooting, thereby making sure that their daughter’s debut film will not get delayed. Currently, financial discussions are going on, as the buy out needs all the money spent to be given back to the original producer.

NDTV Survey: YSRCP can easily win 20 MP seats
The headline on the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh elections from a national perspective is the Federal Front, which is the dream of the current Chief Minister and strongman of Telengana, K Chandrasekhar Rao ( KCR), who sees this non-BJP, non-Congress coalition as the third force in Indian politics, with him moving from effectively being the Nizam of Hyderabad to a star on the national stage: king-maker if not king.
Having persuaded the Congress to bifurcate the old Andhra Pradesh in 2014 and carve out a new state of Telangana, he seized power by wiping out the Congress in election that followed in Telangana.
NDTV analysis shows that if you translate KCR’s December assembly victory into Lok Sabha seats, he would get 16 of 17 seats.
And only a swing of more than 7.5% away from his party, the TRS, would see it get less than 15 seats. That’s a huge and unlikely change given that the assembly results are less than six months old.
Jagan Reddy, the leader of YSRC and potentially the winner of the elections in Andhra which has 25 seats. Opinion polls show Jagan likely to win anything between 19-22 of them.
RGV Turning Actor in Cobra

RGV plays the role of a CBI officer. Interestingly, Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s role will also be there in the film and a stage artiste Ranga Rao will play KCR’s character.

Lokesh turns a liability for Naidu?
Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been toiling day and night even at the age of 69 to bring his party back to power for a second successive term in the state.
But his son 36-year old Nara Lokesh has just not been able to catch up with his father in either election strategies or in the campaigning.Notwithstanding Naidu’s efforts to project Lokesh as his heir apparent, he has not been able to live up to the expectations of his father.
According to ground reports from Mangalagiri, the common voters have not been taking Lokesh seriously, though they are holding his father in high esteem.
Neither the campaign nor the speeches of Lokesh have been able to attract the voters. His lack of articulation, his fumbling at crucial stages of the campaign and his lack of connect with the people have made him a liability to Naidu and the TDP, rather than an asset.
“He is real pappu and a waste character. He doesn’t have any qualities of his father including the political skills and vision; so, people are not taking him seriously, let alone considering him as the future chief minister. In fact, the reports that Naidu might anoint him as the next chief minister, if the TDP comes back to power, are turning out to be negative for the party,” an analyst said.
Having said that, it would not mean Lokesh might lose the elections in Mangalagiri.
“He may win the Mangalagiri seat, but the credit will go only to Chandrababu Naidu. Since he is the CM’s son, the TDP leaders and cadre are taking enough care to see that Lokesh doesn’t lose the polls,” a party leader said.
Lagadapati to Release Survey Tomorrow
Lagadapati Rajagopal, whose recent survey in Telangana turned out to be damp squib, will be releasing his pre-poll survey for Andhra Pradesh tomorrow.
As all the leading national agencies are predicting that YSRCP will clean sweep Andhra polls, Telugu Desam party is trying in vain to counter them.
TDP’s crony media bosses have used the names of reputed survey agencies to fake the results in favour of Telugu Desam party but their dirty tricks have not seen any success.
The same national agencies have slammed the Yellow media for tarnishing their image. People too have quickly realized this Yellow gang’s cheap ploy.
Their last trick is Andhra Octopus. Though Lagadapati lost his image about poll prediction last December in Telangana, he will be coming up with a new explanation about Andhra and would tell us why he should be believed this time.
If sources are to be believed, he would predict 120 assembly seats for TDP. Can anyone believe him now?
