There was a huge buzz surrounding Niharika’s debut film Oka Manasu back then, but the film looked like a sloppy TV serial. And then she took the time to take up Happy Wedding, but even this film also ended up as a TV serial only. There comes the mega lady with Suryakantham movie, whose reviews are not so positive.
This time, the film’s content looked like more of a web series with cheeky lines and forcibly urbanish comedy. One wonders why Niharika is not picking film stories rather coming up with these TV serials and web series ideas for the silver screen. Many say that she should approach top directors to set her career up.
Lack of proper directors is affecting Niharika big time because all the youngsters that are being encouraged by her are not doing justice to the roles she is playing. Also, that will slow down her career too.
US BO: Lakshmi’s NTR Beats Mahanayakudu
Ram Gopal Varma has done it. His “Lakshmi’s NTR” collected a reasonably decent amount in its first weekend at USA Box-office despite low ratings from critics. The film’s good performance in USA is a big surprise.
The film featuring new actor P Vijay Kumar as late NTR and Kannada actress Yagna Shetty grossed about 245k dollars in its first weekend.
The lifetime gross of Balakrishna starrer “NTR Mahanayakudu”, second part of Krish directed NTR Biopic, was just $220k. “Lakshmi’s NTR” grossed $245k in just three days.
This has brought profits to the USA distributor who bought the movie for paltry amount. Ram Gopal Varma and his team are now having celebrations in Hyderabad.
Vote for TRS will be vote for Modi: Rahul
Zahirabad (Telangana): Campaigning in Telangana on Monday, Congress President Rahul Gandhi told people that a vote for the TRS would be a vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP and RSS.Addressing an election rally here, he alleged that there was a secret understanding between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and Modi.
“There is partnership between them. The remote control is in Modi’s hands,” he said.He pointed out that the TRS supported demonetization and Goods and Services Tax (GST) and its MPs extended full support to the Modi government in Parliament. He also claimed that TRS President and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao never spoke about the Rafale deal.
He said Modi and KCR “do a drama” by criticizing each other before elections but in reality they were one.The Congress President said only the Congress was fighting Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).”This is a fight between two ideologies. One ideology stands for dividing India, pitting one community and caste against other so that 15-20 people can get all the benefits. Another ideology is for one India where there will be room for everyone and all will be protected.”
Gandhi alleged that unemployment under Modi government reached the highest in 45 years but he never spoke a word about the problem. “China creates 50,000 jobs in 24 hours, Modi snatches employment from 27,000 Indian youth in the same 24 hours.”Referring to demonetization, he said Modi spiked high currency notes in the name of fighting black money but made common man stand in queues.
“I don’t know what came into this man’s mind. He announced scrapping of notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 at 8 p.m. Ask any economist, he will say it was madness.”Gandhi said Modi was the chowkidar of thieves as he helped 15-20 people to the tune of Rs 3 lakh crore.
“Every day this chowkidar works to help these people and also spreads hatred.”The Congress leader said Modi made a false pledge of depositing Rs 15 lakh in the bank accounts of every citizen.

Naidu is Bhallala Deva in Baahubali film!
Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has similar qualities of Bhallala Deva, the villain character in the popular national-award winning Telugu film Baahubali, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Playing to the gallery of the film-loving audiences in Rajahmundry public meeting on Monday, the Prime Minister said like Bhalla Deva in Baahubali, Naidu would also go to any length to usurp power.
“His only aim is to come to power by any means. For that, he can stoop down to any level,” he alleged.
Modi also took a dig at Naidu referring to the latter’s family business concern Heritage Group. Stating that the people of Andhra Pradesh have rich cultural heritage, he said while the BJP was striving to protect this heritage, Naidu is destroying it for the sake of his own “Heritage.”
The Prime Minister also accused Naidu of treating Polavaram major irrigation project like an ATM centre.
He alleged that the chief minister had repeatedly escalated the project cost only for the sake of commissions.
“We have taken up Polavaram as a national project and released Rs 7,000 crore for the same. But Naidu has no sincerity in completing the same. He went on increasing the project cost for taking kickbacks, but has no intention of completing the same,” he alleged.
Modi also alleged that Naidu had resorted to stealing of people’s personal data for his political gains.
“The data was collected by TDP’s Seva Mitra application. But Naidu is neither a “mitra” (friend) of anybody nor does he do any “seva” (service) to the people, but his intention was to steal the data for personal gains,” he said.

Instead, Jagan offered Machilipatnam MP ticket to Radha which wasn’t to the latter’s liking despite it being an excellent opportunity to take his family name to the national level.
“Why do I need someone else’s permission for inaugurating my father’s statues?” questioned Radha after leaving the YSRCP.
Shocking the Kapu community and fans of Ranga, Radha joined the TDP.
“It’s not the TDP that killed my father, it’s a few persons,” said Radha. And what’ more, he is now doing a 3-day ‘yagam’ intended to make Chandrababu Naidu, the CM once again.
“If Chandrababu becomes the CM, the State will witness all-round prosperity and there will be no communal clashes,” said Radha.
