The second song from Naga Chaitanya and Samantha starrer ‘Majili’ is released by the makers. The song ‘Priyathama Priyathama’ is a romantic number with heart touching feel.
Sung by Chinmayi, Chaitanya Prasad has penned the lyrics. ‘Priyathama Piryathama’ is all about Samantha’s love and her love is filled with joy, innocence which is pleasingly beautiful. The lyrical video gives a partial glimpse and Samantha’s expressions are highlight of it.
With soothing visuals, the song makes a good impression. Shiva Nirvana is directing ‘Majili’ while Gopi Sundar is the music composer.Divyanshika Kaushika is the other female lead of ‘Majili’ which is produced by Shine Screens banner. Release on April 5th.
Hero Rajasekhar’s Too Honest Speech Is Cute
“I am a shy guy and also feel tense to compete with other heroes. But for the first time in my life, I had this thrilling moment of scoring a victory” says senior hero Rajasekhar, as he won the MAA election over hero Srikanth as Executive Vice President. And he says that with lots of pride.
“Competing with a hero like Srikanth who has a lot of interactions with many artists gave me tense moments. Though I felt butterflies when counting is being done, the moment I’m declared a winner, there is no ending for my happiness” said Rajasekhar, further expressing his excitement over the new win. But what is there for Rajasekahr to contest this election?
“After my mother’s death I’m depressed and my doctor advised me to keep meeting more people for interaction such that my thoughts will be cooled down. And this MAA victory gives me the opportunity to mingle with many in the evenings after the shoot. I find this as a great honor” he adds.

#RRR Overseas Rights: What About China And Japan?
Despite the fact that neither the title logo nor the teaser of the film got announced, #RRR is getting a huge buzz in trade circles. Thanks to the craze of SS Rajamouli after Baahubali and the addition of Ram Charan, Jr NTR only added more fuel to the aura around him.
An interesting update is that already the producer of #RRR, DVV Danayya, is said to have sold off the film’s overseas rights for an interesting price. Some reports are saying that he has fetched around 75 crores for the same. While that’s a pretty high amount, one wonders why Danayya hasn’t included China and Japan’s rights in that list.
We are hearing that DVV Danayya wants to release #RRR directly himself in China and Japan, with the help of some partners. Thanks to the super success of Baahubali in terms of winning huge fanbases there, but the problem is that, the film ended up as a disaster in China. And in Japan, it did only a reasonable business. In that context, we wonder why Danayya wants to release the latest movie of Rajamouli on his own.
On the other hand, people close to Danayya have revealed that no solid deal about overseas rights is yet to be made.
NTR’s Mama gets key post in YSRCP
Springing up a surprise, YSR Congress Party made a crucial announcement that has got the political circle ringing with the news. The party has released a statements stating that Narne Srinivas will be appointed as a member of the the Party’s Parliamentary Affairs Committee. This comes within days after actor Junior NTR’s father-in-law joined the party.
Narne Srinivas Rao, who a close relative of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, had joined YSR Congress party on February 28th officially in presence of the party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. According to sources, Srinivas is aspiring for Guntur Lok Sabha ticket or Chilkaluripeta Assembly ticket from the party.
Jr NTR is married to Srinivas’ daughter Lakshmi Pranathi. Pranathi happens to be the granddaughter of Chandrababu Naidu’s younger sister. Narne Srinivas is the son-law of Chandrababu Naidu’s sister. Narne Srinivas founded a regional TV channel Studio N, which was later taken over by Naidu’s son and IT minister Nara Lokesh.

With election commission revealing notification dates, poll days and result day, almost all of India’s political parties have put themselves in motion. And then, media folks are having a field day with their analysis and predictions.
A couple of popular social media folks have tweeted some polls on their pages to find out who is going to be the favorite of Telugu and Tamil people in the coming elections. While the % of people who voted in these polls doesn’t really reflect the whole of the society, they belong to some cream layer of the vote bank.
Makkal Needhi Maiyyam and the ‘Torchlight’, Janasena and the ‘glass’ have sounded high in these polls, as many felt that these new parties will make a sweeping change in the political scenario of these two states. While Telugu netizens felt Pawan Kalyan will outshine all, Tamil netizens had the same feelings for Kamal Haasan.
However, given the fact that the followers of these two stars are a bit huge in numbers on social media, all these net-votes don’t convert to reality. We have to see what will be people’s verdict like.
Kota Srinivasa Rao Breathes Fire, Sounds Logical
Senior character artist Kota Srinivasa Rao is always known for his effervescent speech when it comes to defending the basic rights of Telugu people in the film industry. This time he has breathed fire yet again on the same thing, hoping that the new team that comes to MAA office will take care of it.
“I’m not against non-Telugu actors playing roles in Tollywood, but you’ve to bring actors like Nana Patekar then. These people are bringing some second-grade fools and asking us to play assistants to them. And they are paying such worthless actors in lakhs and crores. I feel that this system should be changed. Cast more Telugu people and give prominence to native actors” said Kota, once again giving gyaan to our directors who love to bring Tamil and Bollywood actors for many roles, including that of heroines and villains.
“To grow physically you need mother’s milk and to grow culturally you need mother tongue” adds Kota, articulating on the need to give more chances and more work to Telugu artists. Well, there is pure logic in what Kota is talking about, and when would filmmakers take this seriously anyway?
