Mahesh Babu Banks On Chiranjeevi’s Sentiment

Super Star Mahesh Babu is currently busy working on an exciting project titled Maharshi. After too much of discussions on the social media, for once and all, the film’s producer Dil Raju gave a clarity that the film’s release will be happening on 9th May contradicting to his earlier statement that the film’s release will happen in April. Dil Raju explained the reason for the delay in the film’s release.

Since the time the new announcement has come, the fans of Mahesh Babu are sending tweet requests to their favorite actor, asking him to reconsider the release date of the movie as three Mahesh’s films that released in May ended up as duds at the box-office. The films Nijam, Nani, and Brahmotsavam released in May and their outcomes are disappointing.

The entire team of Maharshi is aware of the same but they are blindly following the sentiment of one of the co-producers of the film, Ashwini Dutt who scored a blockbuster in May with Chiranjeevi’s “Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari” In his statement, Dil Raju too referred the same and hoped that the sentiment will get carried forward to Maharshi.

“Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari” was released on May 9th and became an industry hit. In spite of both Mahesh and Dil Raju having duds in May, they want to ignore it to follow Chiranjeevi’s sentiment this time.Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, Maharshi stars Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde in the leads.

Sensational biopic Yatra, based on the true incidents that happened in the life of united Andhra Pradesh’s former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy saw an end in its theatrical run now. The film’s worldwide theatricals were valued at 12 crores but in the final run, the movie managed to collect a distributor share of 7.25 Cr alone. In the few areas like Guntur, Nellore & Ceeded, the film did well but could not perform well in the Nizam and Uttarandhra areas. The performance of the film at Overseas is also not-so-satisfactory for the makers.

Troubles Started For Lakshmi’s NTR Even Before Release

Controversial director Ram Gopal is leaving no stone unturned in promoting his upcoming movie ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ which is going to be the biopic on legendary actor turned politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.

It is evident that the movie is going to showcase the story of NTR after the entry of his second wife Lakshmi Parvathi. The trailer of the movie has received a thumping response from the audience and it is evident that Nara Chandrababu Naidu will be shown as a negative role in this film. The movie is slated to hit the screens on March 22nd, 2019. But the distributors are a bit worried that there are so many releases at that time and pressurizing the makers to postpone the release. A lot of small budget movies like ‘Suvarna Sundari’, Allu Sirish’s ‘ABCD’, and ‘Prema Katha Chitram 2’ are slated to hit the screens just a day before the release of ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’. A week before that, Raai Lakshmi’s ‘Where is the Venkatalakshmi’ is also going to hit the screens.

As there are so many releases at that time, there will be a problem for the makers to get a desired number of theatres. It is yet to be known whether the makers will postpone the release or not.

Working with Ajay, Tabu made Rakul push the envelope

Actress Rakul Preet Singh says teaming with veterans like Ajay Devgn and Tabu in Luv Ranjan’s “De De Pyaar De” made her work harder.

Ajay and Tabu are playing special roles in the film.

“Working with two such amazing, fine actors makes you push your envelope. And I just can’t wait for it to come out. Now I’m just counting days for the release,” Rakul told IANS in an email interaction.

The film will be out in May.

“I am very excited for that film, because the role is amazing and there is a lot of prep that has gone into that role.. for the way I look and from the character point of view,” Rakul said.

“People generally think that in a big actor’s film, the girl might not have much to do, but this has a lot for me to do. I hope that I get acceptance from people for that role, from the industry and I hope that I have lived up to everyone’s expectations… everyone associated with that film,” added the actress, who has earlier featured in films like “Yaariyan” and “Aiyaary”.

Once Again, YS Jagan Missed The Logic

If you are a public personality, what you say in the public domain is recorded forever! However, this rule doesn’t apply to politicians. Looks like YSR Congress President Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy has the same logic. Speaking to reporters after meeting Governor E.S.L Narasimhan, he said that a case should be booked at the same place where the crime has been perpetrated, referring to the alleged data theft by IT Grids company which is based on Hyderabad.

“There are a lot of shady things going on at IT Grids. If these things are illegal and they are using the public data for it, then definitely it has to be reported and that’s what we did. Additionally, because the company is in Hyderabad, that’s why a case has been registered here. Where else would one do that?,” he questioned, hitting back at the Telugu Desam Party leaders.

Stating that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is misleading the people of the state, he said that the TDP chief has raised the “misuse of form-7. We don’t understand why it is wrong to file Form-7 application when we were aware of bogus voters list. Why is the CM of a state behaving like this and making it a fight between the Telugu states, he questioned.

Going by YSRCP chief’s statements, political observers wondered whether Jagan had missed the logic of his ‘knife-attack’ case and didn’t think twice while making those statements. Going by his own logic that a case should be filed in the same state where the crime is perpetrated, YSR Congress should have filed a case in Vizag city or in Andhra Pradesh in the knife-attack case on Jagan. However, the case was filed in Hyderabad and then handed over to the National Investigation Agency. So, going by his own words, did Jagan really put himself in a difficult position where he is openly claiming that his party and he are at fault? One wonders!

Pawan Kalyan Warns Sadineni Yamini

Pawan Kalyan has breathed fire on TDP spokesperson Sadineni Yamini for making personal comments on his life. Speaking at Palnadu public meeting, Pawan questioned saying what Yamini knows about his personal life. Raising his voice, Pawan warned Yamini saying, “Pichi Pichi Ga Matladithe Bavundadu.” Pawan asked Yamini to talk about issues related to people and asked her to condemn if she doesn’t like any of his statements. But Pawan asked Yamini to not go into his personal life. Pawan has also said no one has right to talk his personal life. He further said whether any of his political opponents have morals to ask him. He asked his opponents to follow morals before questioning him.

Pawan also asked Yamini to take back the cases registered against Janasena party workers. Going into details, Yamini Sadineni had filed cases against some Janasena followers who had made critical comments on her online. Pawan asked Yamini to withdraw the cases on his followers. Pawan questioned, “How can someone lodge cases on the people who had once carried your flags on their shoulders?” Pawan also said it is not the practice of democracy.

At the same time, Pawan said he is not afraid of fights. He said he is also ready to cross line if the opponents cross the line. As Pawan gave a direct warning to TDP’s woman leader Yamini, the topic has become more interesting. One has to wait and see, how Yamini would now respond to Pawan’s comments.

Tamannaah’s Costly Entry Into Raju Gari Gadhi?

What Is Jr NTR’s Film After RRR?

Chandrababu Naidu involved in cyber crime: Jagan

Hyderabad: YSR Congress President Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday complained to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was “involved” in cyber crime.

A delegation of YSR Congress leaders led by Jagan, as the Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly is popularly known, met the Governor here and sought action against all those involved in data theft.

Later, Jagan told reporters that Naidu should own up the responsibility of data theft. He voiced concern over leakage of the confidential details of the residents of Andhra Pradesh to private parties.

“Chandrababu Naidu’s involvement in this heinous cyber crime is evident. There is no other way that confidential details of the residents of Andhra Pradesh, like the Aadhaar and bank account numbers, would be available with the private company called IT Grids,” he said.

The YSR Congress leader said the wrongful possession of confidential citizen data by a private company and the linking of their database with that of the government’s database was a cyber-crime and should be treated in the same manner.

“We will take up this issue with Election Commission and other concerned authorities as it is the breach of data and confidentiality which would lead to chaos and undermining of the democratic process if left unchecked.”.

He alleged that Naidu was collecting data of households for the last two-and-half years and the data procured was linked to IT Grids.

On Naidu’s criticism over complaint being lodged in Hyderabad, Jagan said he stooped so low as to project it as a conflict between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Majili non-theatrical rights sold for a bomb!

Jagadeka Veerudu Sentiment for Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu’s fans have been resisting the change in release date of “Maharshi” ever since the reports have started appearing. They openly trended against the postponement of the movie to May.

They were dead against the change since many of Mahesh Babu’s movies that released in the month of May bit the dust at the box-office.

Some of the duds are ‘Brahmotsvam’ and ‘Nani’. Both came to the theaters in the month of May.

But Dil Raju has changed the movie’s release date to May 9th and explained that the magic of “Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari” would be repeated. The film is jointly produced by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP.

Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer “Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari” was released on May 09. Also Ashwini Dutt produced “Mahanati” released on the same date and went on to become a trendsetter.

Hence, Dil Raju says Ashwini Dutt’s May 09 sentiment will supersede the bad sentiment of Mahesh Babu.
