One of the stunning Telugu news channels that always stands top whether it be quality of news, timely response, and TRPs, it is none other than this particular one. But the channel sometimes goes overboard with their creativity, thereby inspiring other small channels to do the same.

One can’t forget how they created the bath-tub backdrop while reporting Sridevi’s death news for hours. Following them, another small channel’s anchor has directly got slipped into a bathtub to report the news. And other day, to report India’s surgical strikes on Pakistan at Balakot and other places, this top channel’s news reader has turned into an army man.

As the strikes are conducted by airforce, the more of an IAF outfit would have looked apter, but to showcase their authority over news presentation, the channel decided to go with the camouflaging outfit. Netizens are having a ball since then, asking the channel about the need to showcase that ‘visual’ creativity all the time.

What is more stunning here is, even some unknown Pakistani twitter handles are also tweeting this particular image of our channel’s news presentation, explaining how India is celebrating the event!!

Pak Attack: Indian warplane reportedly crashes in J&K

As a retaliation to Indian Airforce’s airstrikes on terror camps in Pakistan, the country fighter jets violated the Indian air space in Jammu and Kashmir and dropped bombs. The jets that entered the Indian air space in Nooshera and Poonch dropped bombs on their way back after they were pushed back by the Indian Airforce.

Responding to this, Pakistan’s Armed Forces spokersperson Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted: “In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LOC. PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area.”

Pakistan Army gave out a press release which stated: “Pakistan Air Force undertook strikes across Line of Control from within Pakistani airspace. This was not a retaliation to continued Indian belligerence. Pakistan has therefore, taken strikes at non-military target, avoiding human loss and collateral damage. Sole purpose being to demonstrate our right, will and capability for self-defence. We have no intention of escalation, but are fully prepared to do so if forced into that paradigm.”

“That is why we undertook the action with clear warning and in broad daylight. For the last few years, India has been trying to establish what they call “a new normal” a thinly veiled term for doing acts of aggression at whatever pretext they wish on a given day. If India is striking at so-called terrorist backers without a shred of evidence, we also retain reciprocal rights to retaliate against elements that enjoy Indian patronage while carrying out acts of terror in Pakistan,” the release said.

“We do not wish to go to that route and wish that India gives peace a chance and to resolve issues like a mature democratic nation,” the Pakistan Army release mentioned. On the other hand, Indian Airforce jet crashed in Budgam in Jammu & Kashmir, killing one person. The jet broke into two and immediately caught fire. According to sources, the jet crashed in an open field at around 10 am. However, Pakistan airforce has been claiming that it has shot down the Indian Airforce jet.

As per the latest news, Pakistan has violated with its fighter jet planes into Indian air space, in Jammu and Kashmir. However, they were sent back by Indian aircraft. While returning, Pakistan is said to have dropped bombs but no damage has been reported so far.

The Pakistan jets which entered into Indian airspace were in Nowshera and Poonch sectors in J&K. Indian air patrol could manage it well by sending it back. Also, a parachute was seen while Pak’s Air Force’s F-16 was going back. It is yet to be confirmed if the pilot escaped through a parachute.

On the one hand, the sources confirm that an Indian jet crashes into Budgam area in J&K. On the other hand, Asif Ghafoor (Pak Military spokesperson) claims that two Indian jets were crashed and one pilot has been arrested.

The level of emergency has not been announced by the Indian officials yet. But the civilian traffic has been temporarily stopped on safety measures.

However, upon a victim’s complaint, finally, police jumped into the scene, cracking on the bosses of QNet. At the same time, they are giving notices to various big celebs too as this QNet happens to be the sponsor of IIFA awards and other film-related events that took place in recent years.

Including Shahrukh Khan, we have the likes of Boman Irani to Pooja Hegde who received notices in Bollywood, while surprisingly Allu Sirish from Tollywood is also said to have received notices. Though much details of the notices are not revealed to the public, for now the investigation is going at a terrific pace as the scam is said to be worth of 1000 crores and more.

Stalker sets afire college student in Telangana

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a stalker set afire a college student in full public view in Telangana’s Warangal district on Wednesday, police said.

The incident occurred in Hanamkonda town when the victim, a final year BSc student, was on her way to college. She sustained critical injuries and was battling for life in the hospital.

Avinash, said to be a student of the same college, allegedly poured petrol on the student and set her afire. When a couple of passersby tried to rush to the rescue of the girl, the attacker threatened them and later escaped from the scene.

The girl sustained 90 per cent burns and was shifted to a hospital where her condition was stated to be critical.

Police suspect that the youth set the girl afire for spurning his love.

This is the second incident in Telangana this month. A minor girl was critically injured when her stalker stabbed her repeatedly in broad daylight in Hyderabad on February 7.

Dil Raju Confirms: No Change In Maharshi’s Arrival

Featuring Mahesh Babu in the lead and Allari Naresh as his friend, the film tracks the story of a Telugu NRI who comes back to India and realizes the value of friendship. With Pooja Hegde as a heroine, the glamour department is also well taken care of. Samantha’s Key Role In Manmadhudu 2

The stage is all set for the grand launch of the sequel to Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu, which released in 2002 and went on to become a huge blockbuster. Manmadhudu 2 will be produced by Nagarjuna himself and directed by actor turned director Rahul Ravindran.

According to the fresh updates, Manmadhudu 2 will begin its regular shooting from March 15th. And, here we have an exciting update. Nag’s daughter-in-law and star heroine Samantha will be playing a small but crucial role in Manmadhudu 2.

Apparently, Samantha’s role will only last for 4 to 6 minutes on the screen, but her character will be crucial and results in a major turn in the story. Balakrishna Deeply Disappointed and Depressed!

Nandamuri Balakrishna chose the biopic of NTR to launch his home production house NBK Films.

The idea of making the biopic of NTR was not Balakrishna’s. It was Vishnu Induri who came up with the idea and Sai Korrapati joined him.

Balakrishna also decided to co-produce the film and later took over as the ‘main producer’ and included his wife Nandamuri Vasundhara’s name as one of the producers.

Balakrishna expected NTR to create history at the box office and also be remembered as a classic forever. But he got the first shock when Kathanayakudu failed to click.

With over Rs. 50 crore loss, Kathanayakudu result has demoralized Balakrishna and rest of the team of NTR. They had given up on the second part even before the movie was released.

However, no one expected Mahanayakudu to fail in such an embarrassing fashion. It is all set to become the biggest flop in Balakrishna’s career.

Mahesh Babu Miffed with Reports

Mahesh Babu is not happy with the recent developments on the sets of ‘Maharshi’. He was miffed with the news reports that the film is all set to be postponed to May from April 25.

He lambasted producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally for leaking such information.

Mahesh Babu has not given his nod to them to change the date.

“Why are planting such news that the film is getting postponed without my permission,” he asked them.

Mahesh Babu is already under pressure from his fans. Fans were disappointed when the film was moved from the original date April 5. Now if they film gets postponed again, they will not hesitate to create hashtag war against him on the social media.

Mahesh Babu is particular that the film should get released in April only. The month is lucky time for him as many of his big hits were released in the month of April.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, “Maharshi” has Allari Naresh in a key role and Pooja Hegde plays the female lead.

Vamshi Paidipally will now to work overtime to wrap the movie’s shoot to meet the deadline. The film’s dubbing work is also going on simultaneously with the shoot.

Big relief to TRS on its symbol

In a much needed relief to the TRS party ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the chief Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced that it will not allot ‘TRUCK’ and ‘IRON’ to any party.

In the recent Telangana assembly elections, All India Forward Bloc party was allotted ‘TRUCK’ symbol and in many constituencies, this party stood second surpassing MahaKutami (Congress, TDP and CPI). TRS Minister Koppula Eshwar won with a slight majority of 300 votes while many of ruling party MLAs were biting their nails till the last round of counting. After analysing the election results, TRS party found out the ‘TRUCK’ played the spoilt sport.

TRS MP Vinod Kumar along with his party delegation gave a representation to the ECI that their ‘CAR’ symbol is resembling the ‘TRUCK’ in EVMs. So they urged ECI to look into this issue in view of Parliament polls. They also submitted a re-designed version of ‘CAR’ symbol. After considering their request, Election Commission it removed ‘TRUCK’ and ‘IRON’ symbols from the Pre-Symbols list and approved TRS’ new symbol.

Cong seniors not keen on Telangana LS polls?

After facing a humiliating defeat in the assembly elections held on December 7, the Congress party in Telangana has virtually no takers for its party tickets from senior leaders for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Though the party has received as many as 380 applications for 17 Lok Sabha seats, majority of them are non-serious candidates who have neither money power nor any identity among the people.

But seniors who had won several elections in the past, too, are not evincing interest in contesting the Lok Sabha elections. A couple of them want to shift to safer seats, where the party has some chances of winning.

The reason is obvious: they are apprehensive that they would definitely lose the elections, which would be another big setback for them.

Secondly, they do not have enough resources to fight the elections on par with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi which fancies great chances.

So, even those who evinced interest in contesting the Lok Sabha polls, are now dropping out.

For example, veteran Congress leader and former Union minister S Jaipal Reddy, who had earlier announced that he would contest the Lok Sabha elections from Mahbubnagar parliamentary constituency, has now dropped out. Apparently, he has realised that it would be a futile exercise.

Another senior leader T Jeevan Reddy, who recently lost from Jagitial constituency, had earlier announced that he would contest from Karimnagar. Now, he too, is not interested. He wants to contest the MLC elections under graduates’ constituency.

Former MP Madhu Yashki Goud, who won from Nizamabad twice and lost to TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha in 2014, is also refusing to contest from the same constituency this time as he knows he will be defeated certainly.

He has applied for the party ticket from Bhongir constituency on the ground that it has large number of Gowda votes. But other Congress leaders are opposing his request.

Even PCC working president A Revanth Reddy, who lost from Kodangal assembly constituency in the last assembly elections, also wants to shift to Bhongir, though he initially evinced interest in Mahbubnagar seat.
