The trailer of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ is trending at number one place on Youtube with 6 million views. The trailer has becoming roaring hit.
Now the trailer of second part of Krish directed Balakrishna starrer NTR’s Biopic is out .
The trailer of “NTR Mahanayakudu” is a huge letdown. The trailer of the second part of NTR Biopic pales in comparison with Ram Gopal Varma’s.
It is evident that the makers were under immense pressure to make this work.
A “Yatra” inspired dialogue has also been included here. The punch line of “Yatra” was “Kadapa Daati Prati Gadapa Gadapaki”. In “NTR Mahanayakudu” trailer, the last line is similar: “Mee Gadapalaki Pasupupnai Batakadaniki Vacchanu”.
The trailer also has a dialogue that implies that second part of NTR Biopic would become hit despite the first part turning into a disaster.
Krish has included an apologetic dialogue about the first part’s failure with a sly dialogue mouthed by Vennela Kishore: “Maa Akka Cheppindi..Modati Cinema Aadaledata…Aa Tarvata Vachina Cinemaki Tiruguledata.”
All in all, the makers are completely down with low confidence after the first part’s failure. And now Ram Gopal Varma’s “Lakshmi’s NTR” is looking more authentic.
‘Pilla Ra’ Girl’s Charms And Guy’s Tunes For Nag?
One of the smashing hit songs last year that took all the charts by a surprise is none other than ‘Pilla Ra’ from RX100 movie. And both the beautiful Payal Rajput who featured in this song and composer Chaitan Bharadwaj who brought out a terrific tune made a big name.
The latest buzz has that both these talented chaps are now going to work for Nagarjuna’s upcoming movie Manmadhudu 2. While Payal Rajput auditioned for her role and got selected, we hear that Nag insisted his director Rahul Ravindran to bring Pilla Ra music director on board as he got fascinated with that tune.
On many occasions, Nagarjuna praised RX100 movie and it looks like he wants to work with the team members of this film. There are also rumours that director Ajay Bhupathi narrated a film to Akhil but that is not going to materialize anytime soon.
On the other hand, Manmadhudu 2 will be launched in March if reports are true, and the most of the shooting will take place in Portugal.
Pulwama attack: AP CM announces Rs 5 Lakh ex-gratia
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is saddened by the Pulwama attack in which 40 odd CRPF soldiers were killed. Speaking on this incident, he said, the state government will extend unconditional support to the union government in dealing with terrorism.
On this note, the AP CM announced ex-gratia of Rs 5 Lakh to the families of deceased soldiers. “The Centre and state government should work in a strategic manner to counter terror attacks. We must make sure such incident never get repeated that disturb the normalcy in the country. The state government will be by the side of our armed forces and their families in this hour of mourning and so we are announcing financial support to them,†added Chandrababu.
Meanwhile, the military is exploring options to attack the sensitive areas of Kashmir. The situation in the Line of Control (LoC) is said to be volatile.
That is why my son turned terrorist: Pulwama attacker’s father
Gulam Hassan Dar, the father of Adil Ahmad Dar who is the suicide bomber in Pulawama attack on CRPF soldiers, said Indian security forces are responsible for his son turning into terrorist.
“Last year in March, Adil Ahmad went missing. After three months of searching, we gave up on him. Before Adil went missing, a particular incident had angered him against the security forces and he left the valley to join terrorist group,” said Gulam.
Adding the terrorist’s father said, about three years back when Adil was returning from school, the army stopped him. He was made to bow down before them and rub his nose to the ground. Adil felt humiliated and used to constantly remember this incident. Gulam is a fabric salesman in Kashmir while his three sons used to do odd jobs for the sake of income.
Adil’s mother Fahmeeda too is also very well aware of this incident. “He was a school drop-out and was working in a constructing site. He came for lunch and left the home with a cycle. Few days later a picture of Adil with gun appeared in the social media. We desperately wanted him to quit militancy,” said she and added that being the second child among the three, Adil used to help her with household works.
One of Adil’s cousin said he (Adil) got injured in the 2016 stone pelting at Pulwama and was bed ridden for few days.
The 20 year old Adil Ahmad Dar from Lethipora in Kashmir, cruised his SUV with 300 kilos of explosives into one of the 78 vehicle convoy of CRPF jawans. Over 40 soldiers lost their lives.

More shocks in store for Naidu?
The YSR Congress party’s pre-election campaign “Ninnu Nammam Babu” (We don’t trust you, Babu) seems to be catching up more with the Telugu Desam Party leaders than the common people.
As the elections are fast approaching, more and more TDP leaders are evincing interest in joining the YSRC and are making beeline to the Lotus Pond to meet party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
On Saturday morning, senior TDP leader from Allagadda Irigela Rampulla Reddy joined YSR Congress Party in the presence of Jagan at Lotus Pond residence.
Jagan welcomed him into the party and asked him to work with in coordination with Gangula Pratap Reddy, who had joined the YSRC much earlier.
According to sources, more shocks are in store for TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the coming days.
Latest reports indicate that even minister for roads and buildings Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, who represents Narsipatnam constituency in Visakhapatnam district is contemplating joining the YSR Congress party.
Ayyanna, who has been nursing grouse against his cabinet colleague Ganta Srinivasa Rao, is upset with the importance being given by Naidu to Ganta, ignoring sincere leaders like him.
Apparently, Naidu is suspicious that Ayyanna was behind the defection of Anakapalle MP Avanti Srinivas into YSRC. This is said to be forcing Ayyanna to take the decision of quitting the TDP, say sources.
Similarly, former Congress MP and presently TDP MLC Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy is also all set to join the YSRC.
Magunta met Naidu in Amaravati on Saturday, but could not get any assurance for the party ticket from Ongole Lok Sabha seat. He did not speak to the media after meeting the chief minister.
It is learnt Jagan has offered Nellore Lok Sabha seat to Magunta, while shifting former MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy to Ongole.
Another senior TDP leader from Kavali P Srinivasulu Reddy said he would take a call on his future course of action, if he was not given the party ticket from Kavali assembly constituency.
It remains to be seen how many more TDP leaders would take a plunge into the YSRC.
Sharmila Suffering From Swine Flu?
YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who was supposed to perform house warming ceremony of his newly-built house at Tadepalli in Guntur district on February 14, postponed the ceremony on the grounds that his sister Sharmila and brother-in-law Anil Kumar were suffering from fever.
The reason for postponement of the ceremony sounded unconvincing, as people wondered how both wife and husband could get fever at a time.
However, enquiries revealed that Sharmila and Anil were suffering from Swine Flu, which has affected many people in the state due to change of weather.
Both of them were apparently hospitalised and hence, as a matter of precaution, Jagan postponed the house warming ceremony. According to latest reports, the ceremony will now be held on February 27.
In any case, Jagan would not be able to shift into his new residence immediately, as a lot of interior work is still going on and it will take another four or five weeks to complete it.
It is only for the sake of auspicious muhurtam, he wanted to perform the house warming ceremony.
By the time the residence-cum-official complex is completed, the YSRC chief would be already on roads doing hectic election campaign because the election schedule is going to be announced shortly.
So, it is only after the election process is completed, Jagan will be able to shift permanently to Amaravati.
And if he gets elected as the chief minister, he may be looking for an official residence!
It’s a cakewalk for Nanis!
It is a well-known fact that Kesineni Srinivas a.k.a Kesineni Nani enjoys popularity in Vijayawada’s Lok Sabha constituency from the Telugu Desam Party. Having the might and cadre behind him, he is seen as the go-to person in the constituency. According to sources, the Telugu Desam leadership has decided that the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat will be given to Kesineni Nani this time too.
On the other hand, there are other people who are vying for the Vijayawada Lok Sabha ticket from YSR Congress party. Apparently, industrialist Jai Ramesh is planning to join YSR Congress party and demand for Vijaywada parliamentary constituency ticket. It is heard that Daggubati Venkateswara Rao who recently joined YSRCP has connected Ramesh to Jagan.
Meanwhile, there are rumours that Potluri Vara Prasad, film producer and industrialist, too has been vying for the same seat from YSR Congress. However, there is no clarity on this. While it is true that YSR Congress President Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy is looking at a strong Kamma candidate to fight Kesineni Nani, party cadre are wondering whether Jai Ramesh fits the bill as he has not been active in politics, though he’s been a dormant TDP member.
In another case where Telugu Desam Party is trying its luck is Gudivada constituency. Kodali Nani, who is the MLA from YSR Congress for Gudivada constituency has a great hold over his constituency and is equally popular for his outright criticism of the TDP government. However, to give a tough fight to Kodali Nani, TDP is planning to get Devineni Nehru’s son, Devineni Avinash to be their candidate from Gudivada.
According to sources, Gudivada is a stronghold of YSR Congress party and therefore, Avinash may not stand a chance in winning against Kodali Nani. Avinash, whose family hails from Vijayawada, will not be seen as a local in Gudivada feel some of the TDP cadre. Therefore, his candidature for Gudivada may not do good for TDP, opine political observers.
Therefore, YSR Congress Party needs to understand that choosing a candidate like Jai Ramesh or anyone against a strong candidate like Kesineni Nani might not fetch them much. Similarly, in Gudivada, Telugu Desam needs to realise that Avinash will be too weak an opponent against Kodali Nani and may not stand a chance against YSR Congress. So, it could be a cakewalk for both Nanis in their respective constituencies!
Nani And Vikram’s Movie: Unlimited Selections
Currently busy giving the final touches for ‘Jersey’, hero Nani is all set to move to his next project. His next projects include the likes with director Vikram K Kumar and another one with his mentor Indraganti Mohan Krishna.
We are hearing that Nani’s film with Vikram should take off by now, but it is getting late due to some casting reasons. While the hero is getting ready to play multiple roles of various age groups, director Vikram wants the side-kicks who have to appear in all these ages.
Though the makers want to go for a prosthetic makeup for Nani, they don’t want to do the same with others, and so they are auditioning people to find out the near look alikes. And with this selection process taking more time than expected, the makers are unable to come up with a proper date for the launch.

The anticipation around the trailer of Mahanayakudu was high given the low buzz surrounding it. However, the editors failed to cut an exciting trailer that instantly boosts the hype for the film.
Latest trailer of Mahanayakudu has some impressive shots and rousing music besides a couple of captivating punchlines, but it could create little impact on a whole. It is clear that Nadendla has been shown the villain in this political drama. Much talked about last phase of NTR seems to have been omitted out of the biopic.
The gigantic failure of the fisrt part has been looming large over the second part and the trailer failed to rise above it. The X factor that is needed for viewers to get curious about the second part has been missing in the trailer cut. We have to see whether the film has enough drama and exciting political situations to get the thumbs up from its viewers.
