It seems like that trolling effect is now showing on the production house as the producers of the film under E4 Entertainments banner have decided to start a fresh and reshoot the entire movie. During a press release, they released a statement in which they declared that they are not at all happy with the final version handed over to them and due to various creative and other differences they have decided not to release this version but instead start a fresh and shoot a new Tamil version of ‘Arjun Reddy’. They clarified that Dhruv will be playing the lead role but including director Bala, the entire cast and crew will be changed for this film new version. They mentioned that though it will cost high, they are doing this because of the love they have to see this cult film in Tamil.

Initially, the movie was supposed to hit the screens in February but the production house is now claiming that they will try their best to reshoot the film and release in June 2019. This undoubtedly came out as a shocker for the entire Kollywood and we can say that this would be the first movie of a popular director to get rejected.

I want more immigrants, but legally – Trump

Share

Reiterating his government’s stand on the immigration policy, US President Donald Trump said that he would be happy to see immigrants entering US legally. The official transcript of his speech at ‘State of the Union’ Annual address said: “I want people to come into our country, but they have to come in legally.” These comments have contradicted his government’s stand on immigration policy.

In the past, Donald Trump ordered for a 40% cut in legal immigration and also passed orders to send back thousands of legal foreigners from the nations hit by war and natural disasters. On that note, the latest statement by Donald Trump has given a new ray of hope for Indian IT employees. On other hand, to curb the illegal entry of people from other nations, Trump said he will finish the building of US-Mexico border wall at any cost.

He further stated that US must take the duty to protect its citizens, legal immigrants and their jobs with a potential immigration policy. For having secured a seat in a fake University, around 129 Indian students were detained in US and sent out a caution to illegal immigrants over the unlawful presence in United States.

Beware Of Yellow Media

Share

Sounding the poll bugle at Tirupati today, YSR Congress President Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy said that the upcoming Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh are not only about our fight against TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu but also the deadly “Yellow media” (a word coined for pro-TDP media). Talking at the YSRCP’s new campaign ‘Samara Sankharavam’, he asked all his party cadre to be alert and ensure that voters cast their votes and “do not trust all the news that the Yellow media propagates.”

Coming down heavily on the TDP Chief, Jagan said that the party cadre needs to give its best in these two months, ahead of the polls. This campaign of the YSRCP is believed to put an end to the Telugu Desam Party rule in the state, believe the party followers. Calling it a first-of-its-kind meeting, YSRCP Chief said that this is the first in the history of AP that a political party is holding a meeting which also includes booth level cadre.

Firing a salvo at the Telugu Desam Government and Chandrababu, Jagan said that “the Chief Minister has encouraged corruption and should work towards another movie titled ‘How to rob a State of its finances’ and also tell us the story of how to give take bribes in sand contracts and other governments contracts.”

Jagan also added that TDP government did not bother about DWCRA women in all these four and half years and now, it is offering poll baits. “Similarly, farmers, workers in the unorganised sector and BCs also have been trapped by TDP’s politricks,” he said, adding that the Budget presented in the AP Assembly is “half-budget” and that the TDP is not doing a good job, even by copying schemes.

Boyapati Points Out Ram Charan’s Double Standards

Share

Accepting the failure of ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, Ram Charan recently wrote a letter to his fans telling them that he’d be careful with his next films and would work harder and deliver better films which meet their (fans) expectations.

He squarely put blame on director Boyapati Srinu in sly manner and this has created quakes between the director and mega powerstar.

Boyapati reportedly slammed producer DVV Danayya for allowing Ram Charan to send this letter to fans when the latter asked the money from the director to pay to the distributors as part of the compensation for the losses.

“When Ram Charan delivered big flops like “Bruce Lee” and “Toofan”, why did he not write letters to his fans? Do you know my flop film collected bigger revenue than some of your hit movies (Danayya’s),” he slammed Danayya.

Danayya was the producer for ‘Bruce Lee’ that starred Ram Charan and it was directed by Sreenu Vaitla. The movie was bigger flop than ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’.

The pre-release of “Vinaya Vidheya Rama” was done for Rs 90 Cr and the movie collected Rs 62 Cr from theaters. Rs 30 Cr losses were incurred.

“Bruce Lee”, on the other hand, didn’t recieve 30 percent of its investment. Boyapati miffed with this double standards.

Temper’s Tamil Teaser: Did Vishal Change His Mind?

Share

NTR and Puri Jagannadh’s 2015 action drama Temper has been remade in Bollywood and Kollywood. While the Hindi version Simmba went on to become a blockbuster last December, the Tamil version Ayogya is gearing up for its release this summer. The film’s teaser was released yesterday.

During Pandem Kodi 2’s promotions, hero Vishal, who is reprising NTR’s role in Ayogya, had said that Ayogya will be quite different from Temper. Since then, there has been a lot of curiosity about how Ayogya’s makers could have given a new twist to Temper.

But Ayogya’s teaser offered nothing new and the film appears to be a frame by frame faithful remake of NTR’s Temper. Especially, shots like Vishal looking cunningly from the Jeep, the beach fight, the police station fight and a few other shots gave a strong dejavu of Temper. Even certain dialogues in the teaser seem to have been inspired from Temper.

However, leaving the similarities aside, Ayogya’s teaser is captivating enough. While Raashi Khanna steps into Kajal’s shoes, Parthiepan plays Prakash Raj’s role in Temper’s Tamil version. Star director AR Murugadoss’ former First AD Venkat Mohan has directed Ayogya. Surprisingly, he also credits himself as the Writer of this film.

Big Fight : Boyapati and Danayya ?

Share

Hits bring two people together and flops, disasters strain relations and even make two close friends into enemies. This is common in film industry. Looks like, this is exactly what happened in the team of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. It is widely rumoured in industry circles that all is not well between producer DVV Danayya and director Boyapati Sreenu after the debacle of Vinaya Vidheya Rama.

The film which had done a pretty good theatrical business of Rs 90 Crore (prior to its release) managed to earn only Rs 63 Crore world-wide share leaving its distributors in 27 Crore loss.

Amidst this, producer Danayya, Dil Raju have met director Boyapati to discuss over paying compensation to the distributors. While Ram Charan and Danayya have agreed to pay Rs 5 Crore each, Danayya wanted Boyapati to give another Rs 5 Crore. However, this hasn’t gone down well with Boyapati who had agreed to return only Rs 2 Crore. Boyapati wasn’t convinced with giving compensation on par with Danayya. As Danayya made huge profits, Boyapati allegedly argued that Danayya should give more compensation than him i.e he wanted to give less compensation than Danayya.

It is buzzed that some heated discussion took place between Danayya and director Boyapati regarding the same. Apparently, a big fight broke out between Danayya and Boyapati. Dil Raju and others have pacified the both. This led to have widened the gap further between Danayya and Boyapati.

After Mamata, It Will Be Naidu vs Modi!

Share

After a pitched battle with Trinamul Congress chief and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned his attention on Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Modi will address a public meeting at Guntur on February 10. This will be the Prime Ministers first visit to Andhra Pradesh in close to two years and also after the TDP pulled out of the NDA.

Modi will visit the state again on February 16 to address another rally in the port city Visakhapatnam.

Needless to say, Modi will take Naidu to task during his visit to AP and expose Naidu’s bluff on his allegations that the Centre had done nothing for the state.

While explaining what the Centre has done in the last four years, Modi will definitely talk about Naidu’s corruption.

The TDP president has chosen February 11, a day after Modi’s rally in Guntur, to launch a counter-attack on Modi.

He will be sitting on a day-long deeksha in New Delhi, where he will question Modi’s indifferent attitude towards Andhra Pradesh, his witch-hunting of the TDP leaders and his collusion with the TDP’s political rivals.

So, the battle lines are drawn. While the BJP does not have much stakes in AP, but Modi’s only objective is to see that Naidu is defeated in the elections.

On the other hand, Naidu wants to gain maximum political mileage by blaming it on Modi for lack of implementation of his poll promises.

Why Naidu left NDA? Ask Vijayashanti

Share

It is an open secret that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has pulled his party out of the Bharatiya Janata Part-led National Democratic Alliance in April last, as he realised that the TDP would be on the losing side if he continued to sail with the NDA.

Reason: the people are angry with the Narendra Modi government for rejecting outright the demand for special category status and also not releasing necessary financial assistance to state, besides not fulfilling other promises made in AP Reorganisation Act.

But Telangana Congress campaign committee president and actress Vijayashanti has a different reasoning.

In a series of tweets, the actress-turned-politician said Naidu had left NDA because of Narendra Modi who had been ill-treating his allies in the NDA.

“TDP led by Shri Chandrababu opted out of NDA being unable to tolerate the domination of Shri Modi. But still after so many consequences, Shri Amit Shah still continuing to sing in praises of Shri Modi not caring about the alliances reflects their dictatorship (sic),” she observed.

Vijayashanti was referring to BJP national president Amit Shah’s comments in his speech the other day that “the coming Lok Sabha elections will be fought in between Modi and the opposition parties”.

She said: “A confidence that Shri Modi led BJP wins majority seats without any need of support from the NDA alliance parties is being heard in the words of Shri Amita Shah. All the senior leaders of that party went away as BJP was run around one single person like this”.

Vijayasanthi asked how Siva Sena is going to react on this. “It is to be seen about how Siva Sena reacts over the statement of Shri Amit Shah now”.
