I’m Not There On Manikarnika Sets -Baahubali Writer
As there is a huge demand for his response from all quarters, it looks like Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad has to finally respond on the Manikarnika fiasco. The issue, Kangana claims that she has directed 70% of the film, while Krish denied it.
Reacting on the same, Kangana’s sister Rangoli is the one leading the campaign of proving that her star heroine sister has all the proofs on earth to showcase that she has carved 70% of the movie. And then, here comes the response of Prasad, who doesn’t want himself to be the epicenter of this controversy.
“I’m not there physically on the sets of Manikarnika to see who has directed what. But both Krish and Kangana have given inputs for the script, both have directed it and both are creative people. Some directors take the only script as their input and few elevate that to the next level with their vision. Both such people get succeeded. Now that the film has worked, let’s enjoy this success” said Vijayendra Prasad, sharing his thoughts.
That’s a quite diplomatic and a wisdom laced reply from the senior, and maybe Manikarnika team should take a cue from that.

Nani To Compensate Pawan, NTR?
The theatrical rights of Nani-starrer Jersey, a sports film based on cricket, is being given to regular distributors of the production house for meager prices. It is buzzed that as part of the compensation to the distributors who lost monies in their previous production ventures – Agnyaathavaasi and Aravinda Sametha.
While Agnyaathavaasi is a big disaster, Aravinda Sametha has done well but a few distributors lost money owing to its exorbitant prices. Aravinda Sametha was sold for record prices which led to some losses to a few distributors in some areas. Also, Shailaja Reddy Alludu too ended up incurring losses to its buyers. Owing to these, the production house is now giving off Jersey for reasonable prices.
In addition to the above, the buzz for Jersey isn’t great. Nani’s last film as solo hero Krishnarjuna Yuddham hasn’t done well. Even his multi-starrer with Nag, Devadas also failed to meet the expectations. And Nani doing a sports film has garnered little buzz. Considering these, the makers have decided to give it off Jersey for nominal prices. This is a blessing in disguise for the distributors.
What If Majnu Came For Sankranthi?
Mr. Majnu is a decent film. It has its moments in place. Barring some cliched portions in the second half, director Venky Atluri was mostly successful in capturing the emotions well. Akhil has pulled it off well.
Even some reviews were good for the film. But all these haven’t worked in pulling crowds to cinemas. Given the positive talk and lack of good films in recent times (other than F2), many expected that the film would set Box Office on fire. But that isn’t the case with Mr. Majnu. Majnu failed to eat into the collections of F2.
Trade is of the opinion that the timing of Akhil is wrong. Even Akkineni fans opine that had Mr. Majnu released for Sankranthi, the result would have been different. They feel that at least, it wouldn’t be as bad as what it is now had it been released for Sankranthi festival. The failure of Vinaya Vidheya Rama, NTR: Kathanayakudu had come in handy for F2 big time in addition to its comedy content.
If Majnu had come for Sankranthi in substitute to F2, probably it would have done well. But one can’t guess what Mr. Majnu would have been, had it clashed with F2 at the Box Office for Sankranthi. So, it’s time for fans to accept Akhil’s hat-trick disasters and move on. Let’s wait and see, what is in store for Akhil’s fourth film
Anil Ravipudi Brainwashed By Dil Raju?
Director Anil Ravipudi has proved himself as a successful director with his films not giving headaches to producers and heroes. Though he banks on usual commercial content, the entertainment value is helping the distributors bet big on him. And that yielded results.
After the success of F2, many expected that Anil will be now directing a big star hero. But he has revealed himself that a female-centric project with a leading super starlet is on his mind. So what is this successful director going to carve out now?
According to the grapevine, recently Dil Raju is said to have brainwashed Anil regarding his next moves. At a time when many star heroes are waiting for him with open hands, Raju is said to have advised the young director not to do any experiments at the moment. He wants the young director to make yet another commercial film with a leading superstar.
We have to see if Anil is going to pay heed to the producer who stood by him all the time, or he will go ahead with his female-centric film.
Naidu’s ‘Kia Car’ launch in Anantapur an ‘election stunt’!
TDP president and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu seems to be relying more on ‘gimmicks’ to win upcoming AP Assembly polls than seeking votes based on the performance of his government during the past five years. In the name of “Kia Car” launch on Tuesday (yesterday), Naidu staged a drama as if the Kia car plant in Anantapur had started manufacturing cars and first car from Anantapur plant came out.
The fact is the plant is yet to become operational. The required machinery for production of cars is being installed in Anantapur Kio car plant at present. But Naidu created such a hype and buzz as if the plant started production and created thousands of jobs in AP.Ten cars manufactured in Kia car plant in Korea were transported to Anantapur and were placed on the stage.
Naidu came on to the stage, took drivers seat in one of the cars and drove it. Naidu’s PRO team ensured that ‘yellow media’ flashes news in top headlines saying that the Anantapur plant has started production and Naidu has undertaken trial run of the car produced in AP.
Kia Motors officials present there at the venue were surprised to see over enthusiasm of Naidu and other TDP leaders and later personally clarified to media personnel present there saying that it will take few more months for Anantapur plant to start production and the actual production is yet to begin.
Kia Motors officials, media personnel and other people present there laughed looking at Naidu’s election stunts and discussed among themselves to what extent Naidu can go to cheat public to win elections.
Nikhil Has Limited Options
Nikhil Siddharth is wracking his brains what to do with his current film ‘Mudra’. Last week, a film with the same name and with the same title design got released.
Although no one cared to watch the film, the film got some publicity due to Nikhil making hue and cry over it on social media.
Before Nikhil noticed the small movie featuring newcomers and brought publicity to it, no one heard about it. Despite the controversy, the small film went unnoticed.
Now Nikhil is worrying what to do with his movie? Should title be changed or go with the simple option like “Nikhil’s Mudra”?
In the past, whenever issue about the movie’s title arose, the makers went by adding actor’s name as prefix to it like ‘Mahesh Khaleja” or “Kalyan Ram Katthi”.
Nikhil will have to announce the new title and begin promotions afresh. His last film was a dud at the box-office.

From the phenomenal performances to the grandeur to the screenplay, fans and cine-goers claim that Manikarnika is one of Kangana’s finest films.
And seems like the diva’s film has found a fan in Tollywood superstar and legend, Chiranjeevi.
The actor who is gearing up for his next release apparently went to watch Kangana’s film twice in the theatres.
For the second time around, a report in Telugu Cinema reveals that the superstar took the team of his next release, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy to watch the film in a theatre owned by Mahesh Babu.
The report reveals, “Chiru wanted to check how this period movie was shot.”
The actor also wanted to check if there were any similarities between the two films that revolve around a similar plotline.
In Sye Raa, Chiranjeevi has stepped into the shoes of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a man who rebelled against the East India Company.

Pawan not to attend all-party meeting called by Naidu
Amaravati: Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday announced that he will not attend the all-party meeting called by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over the demand for special category status on Wednesday.
The Jana Sena chief in an open letter to Naidu expressed surprise over the government extending invitation on Tuesday evening for a meeting to be held on Wednesday.
Pawan said the meeting without giving sufficient time to the parties and without deciding the agenda would serve no purpose.
“This gives rise to the suspicion that the meeting is being convened for political mileage,” he wrote.
The actor made it clear that Jana Sena remained committed for a joint struggle to achieve special category status and implementation of commitments made in Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. He said the party would join hands only if there was sincerity in the struggle.
Naidu on Tuesday decided to call an all-party meeting on Wednesday to discuss special category status and incomplete implementation of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
The ruling Telugu Desam Party appears to be trying to bring the issue of special status to the centre-stage before the last Parliament session.
Stating that TDP is taking the Centre head-on over the issue of the state’s rights, Naidu told TDP leaders that all the parties should join hands with them in carrying forward this battle.
