‘Mr.Majnu’ has totally collapsed at the Andhra and Telangana box-office. After an average first weekend box office collection, the film has started to collapse over the weekdays. Collections on day 5 (Tuesday) showed no sign of growth.

Its run at the box office slowed down drastically with the start of its first Monday itself.

Its collections on Monday were low on Monday and it has failed to show any significant rise in its collection on day 5 as well.

The film had received lukewarm reviews from critics who praised the film’s initial moments and slammed the second half.

Since it has good music by Thaman and no major competition from other releases other than Sankranthi holder “F2”, it was expected that it would do well at the box office.

But it is shaping up to be one of the biggest bombs in the recent times. This is the third flop for Akhil in a row.

Buzz around upcoming film Yatra is building as it nears the release day. YSR fans are eagerly waiting to see the reception for YSR story especially after looking at the disastrous performance of NTR biopic.

Will the masses show interest in watching the journey of one of the greatest mass leaders ever?As Yatra gears up for the release, director Mahi P. Raghav is making sure to set the expectations right.

He says that Yatra is not a biopic, but a fiction told through his eyes.

“It is about YSR’s journey to success through what I have seen. I took cinematic liberties to alter the facts for the sake of drama. So please don’t see it like a documentary or a film with historical accuracy. I didn’t get into the details of YSR’s past before Pada Yatra,” he told.

It is about the change in a person’s perception after going on an iconic journey, says Mahi.
