Not becoming AP Governor: Kiran Bedi
Rubbishing the claims and rumours in media that she may be appointed as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi has clarified that she is going to continue as the Union Territory’s Governor and will remain on the administrative side of governance.
Stating that she is not contesting the Lok Sabha polls, she said that she is happy with what she is doing and has denied reports of her being in race for AP Governor’s post. Her response comes amid media reports emerging that BJP has been considering her name for a while as the new AP Governor as the Andhra Pradesh government has been opposing E.S.L Narasimhan’s way of functioning.
According to the ruling TDP government, Narasimhan has been biased towards Telangana and has been a clandestine informant to the BJP. The TDP government also accused him of spreading false propaganda to benefit Telangana and create a loss to Andhra Pradesh at the Centre.
Interestingly, Narasimhan is the only UPA-appointed Governor who has not been changed by the NDA government as he had remained loyal to the current BJP regime.
Priyanka Gandhi is beautiful : BJP Minister
Bihar’s BJP minister Vinod Narayan Jha made sexiest remarks on Priyanka Gandhi who was recently appointed as Congress party’s general secretary, in charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Jha said, “Priyanka is beautiful, but using that Congress can’t ask votes from people.” He went on to add that she (Priyanka) is wife of Robert Vadra who is accused in several corruption cases. As an individual, Priyanka has achieved nothing.
These comments sparked controversy and did not go well with Congress and the BJP too. The Congress party has hit back at the saffron party for making such disgusting remarks and added that it shows the true nature of BJP and its leaders.
BJP has been attacking Congress ever since Priyanka is given the charge of East UP. But with Jha’s comments, it is now in the receiving end.
While this issue is still in news another BJP minister from Bihar countered the Congress criticism. It’s Bihar deputy CM Sushil Modi who made sarcastic comments on Priyanka resemblance with her grandmother Indira Gandhi. “If we think a person who resemble like another personality then by now we could have many Virat Kohlis’ and Amitabh Bachchans.’ Duplicate do not work in politics,” stated Suhil Modi.
Social Media Talk On Radha’s Exit
Alleging that YS Jagan has ill-treated him big time, slain Vijayawada based political icon Vangaveeti Ranga’s only son Vangaveeti Radha has blasted big time. Later he added that everyone should work about castes and caste politics, and confirmed that TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu invited him into his party.
Well, whatever Radha said is true to an extent, but then, some of the hardcore fans of his father Ranga are actually differing with his decision. While Radha spoke about the ‘death threats’ issued to him on social media, these fans are asking him to respond to their questionnaire as well.
Some of the questions that are doing rounds on social media are like these:
–Though not proved, many of us still believe that this party has the stains of your father’s murder. So, why joining hands with them?
–If service is your primary aim, and if you think you have immense love and support of people, why not contesting as an independent?
–Rather jumping into so many political parties, from Congress to Prajarajyam to YSR Congress to TDP, why not leave politics for the good?
India Today Survey: Even KCR & Jagan can’t save Modi!
The latest survey conducted by India Today and Karvy ‘Mood of the Nation’ has predicted that Bharatiya Janata Party led NDA is going to miss the magic figure of 272 if the Lok Sabha Polls are conducted today. The survey also has stated that NDA would gain 35% vote share and win 237 seats and may fall short of 35 seats to retain power.
On other hand, the survey predicted Congress party led UPA may emerge victorious in 107 LS segments with an estimated vote share of 33%. Given that both the national parties won’t be able to grab power on their own, other regional parties are expected to play an important role. The Survey reveals that ‘Others’ would win 140 seats with a significant vote share of 32%. The survey has also projected three possible cases:
1. If Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress, SP and BSP joins UPA ahead of election, then UPA may win close to the magic figure number -269 and NDA is estimated to win just 219 seats.
2. If PDP, SP, BSP and TMC joins UPA before the polls and if NDA gains the support of AIADMK, YSRCP, TRS and BJD, then both of groups would gain an equal vote share of 44%. But, UPA is more likely to cross the half way mark of 272 and NDA may settle down with 257.
3. Final case: If PDP, BSP, SP and TMC join the Congress led UPA and If NDA gets the support from YSRCP and AIADMK before polls, UPA may emerge victorious by getting 272 seats and NDA would only get 234 seats.
So, in all possible cases, it’s not going to be an easy election for BJP. The tight fight between both the alliances is evident and also, Others are estimated to play a major role in 2019 general polls.
Official: SITA is Bellamkonda’s next
As reported earlier, the title of young and dynamic hero Bellakonda Sai Sreenivas’ upcoming movie is confirmed as ‘SITA.’
The first look of the film will be unveiled tomorrow at 11 AM on the occasion of Republic Day.
Being directed by Teja, Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead role in the movie and it is her straight second film with hero Sreenivas.
This is a completely different film that hero Sreenivas has never attempted and has immense scope for performance.
The film is final stages of shoot and the makers are aiming for summer release.
Anil Sunkara is producing ‘SITA’ under AK Entertainments banner.
‘Had less time to work on script for Jr NTR’
With ‘F2’ blockbuster result, Anil Ravipudi has become the most successful director in the recent times. Entering third week, the film has grossed Rs 100 crore and is still running with decent occupancy across the Telugu states.
Now producers are reaching out to Anil to make film under their banner. But like any other director, Anil wants to work with star heroes. He missed a golden opportunity that came very early in his career. Yes, post ‘Pataas’ release, Anil developed good bond with Kalyanram and Jr NTR. This association had led to a collaboration between the Young Tiger and Anil.
“NTR had asked me to come up with a story. I narrated a single line and he was impressed and asked me to develop the full script but in a short time. I wasn’t ready then and conveyed the same to NTR. He went ahead with ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ but in future we will definitely make a film together,” said the ‘F2’ director.
Young Tiger fans will be desperately praying for this combination to work out. We too want to see it in future.
Two Simultaneous Projects For Succesful Mega Hero
Of course, among all the mega heroes we have, only a couple are struggling to score hits. But Varun Tej has come out of that cabin and joined the list of his family biggies who have been scoring big at the box office. With the success of F2, his star power surely got doubled.
And now, Varun Tej will be bankrolling his next along with cousin Allu Bobby under the direction of a newcomer Kiran Korrapati. This story deals with the life of a boxer who fails in his sport and then rises like a phoenix from the ashes. But this is not the only film that the mega hero will take up.
Reports are coming that Varun agreed to do Harish Shankar’s Jigarthanda remake as well where he wants to play the role of Bobby Simha. The film is likely to be launched in the next couple of days before Varun flies off to the USA where he wants to get fit and set.
After he comes back from the USA, shooting of Harish Shankar’s as well newcomer’s boxer story will be started, they say. Can Varun do justice to two simultaneous films at the same time is something we have to see.

On the first watch, one will be mighty impressed with Niharika’s performance. She grabs the attention with her carefree attitude and also being bold.
What’s noticeable here is, the mega heroine’s comedy timing which is just terrific. While hero Rahul Vijay plays a subtle role but it’s packed with emotions.
‘Suryakantham’ is a rom-com being directed by Pranith Bramandapally and has music of Mark K Robin.

YSRC To Skip Vundavalli’s All-Party Meet!
For quite some time, there had been reports that former MP from Rajahmundry and an intellectual face in Andhra Pradesh politics Vundavalli Arun Kumar might return to active politics by joining the YSR Congress party just before the general elections.
Though he has not been associated with any political party since he was expelled from the Congress party for opposing the bifurcation of combined Andhra Pradesh, Vundavali has not retired from politics, but has been raising his voice against the anti-people policies of the Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
He has also been moving closely with YSR Congress party leaders and is learnt to be advising YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on several important issues whenever there is an opportunity.
With elections to the state assembly and Lok Sabha fast approaching, Vundavalli too has decided to step up his political activity.
As part of the strategy, he has called for an all-party meeting in Vijayawada on January 29 to discuss about injustice done towards Andhra Pradesh after state bifurcation.
Vundavalli said he had invited as many as seven political parties to the meeting to preparare a common agenda and plan of action to fight against the Centre to secure justice to the state through implementation of the AP Reorganisation Act in letter and spirit.
Interestingly, YSR Congress party has refused to attend the meeting called by Vundavalli, much to his surprise.
He criticised that certain political parties were not in a position to question the Centre about injustice meted out to Andhra Pradesh, apparently referring to YSRC which might be looking for a post-poll alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
However, it is not known whether the Telugu Desam party would be sending any representative to the Vundavalli’s all-party meeting.
Cherry’s Wife Promotes Telangana At Davos!
Upasana Kamineni, director of Apollo Hospitals group and wife of young mega hero Ramcharan Teja, sprang a surprise by promoting the Telangana government at the ongoing World Economic Forum meeting at Davos in Switzerland.
Apparently, Upasana went to Davos as part of Apollo group’s business delegation, but she played the role of Telangana promoter at the WEF.
On Thursday night, she tweeted tagging Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K T Rama Rao saying she had found a new job as a coordinator of Telangana desk at the WEF, helping the state delegation in showcasing the state for foreign investments.
She explained to KTR about the investment opportunities in the state which is number one in ease of doing business and third best place in the world to live. Meanwhile, she asked KTR as how he liked her new job.
“How do u like my new job? @KTRTRS garu. Sitting behind the desk at the #Telangana Pavilion @wef helping the fab team with #investintelangana – #3 on the world’s best place to live Startup Capital of India #1 in ease of doing business Just got to love #Hyderabad !!!!,” she tweeted.
Responding to the tweet, KTR thanked Upasana for lifting the spirits of Telangana people.

Defeat Kavitha To Open KCR’s Eyes!
All parties, students/ employees unions and civil organisations in Telangana in general and Nizamabad district in particular are learnt to be coming together to defeat Nizamabad sitting MP an daughter of TRS chief and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao in upcoming Lok Sabha polls in April.
This is not because they have personal grudge or enmity towards Kavitha but they want to achieve a common goal of teaching a fitting lesson to KCR by defeating his daughter.
They are angry that KCR is behaving like a dictator and monarch, after winning recent Assembly elections with a thumping majority.
KCR did not form even his cabinet after taking oath as CM more than one and a half month ago on December 13.
KCR who came to power on the bank of poll promises like giving unemployment allowance of Rs 3,016 per month to unemployed youth, increasing retirement age of government employees from 58 years to 61 years, crop loan waiver up to Rs 1 lakh, doubling of Aasara pensions and reduction in age limit for claiming Aasara pensions, in now talking light about these promises.
In his recent speech in Legislative Assembly, KCR said there is no hurry in implementing these poll promises as people have given them five-years time to implement them.
This angered youth, employees and Aasara pensioners, who are now keen to work together to defeat his daughter in Nizamabad with a belief that this will curtail KCR’s arrogance and open his eyes and creates a sense of fear that people will not tolerate leaders who function like dictators and who ignore poll promises.
