A day after the launch, Energetic star Ram Pothineni’s new film ‘iSmart Shankar’ has commenced its shooting.Marking this, the makers released a poster in which Ram is seen in a weird outfit. The trouser is a combination of two different denim materials and it looks good.

Ram’s look is craggy while he holds a gun in his right hand that says his role is action packed that carries the caption ‘Double Dimaak Hyderabadi.’Being the first combination of Ram and director Puri Jagannadh, there are good expectations on the movie. Puri has worked extensively on the hero’s characterization and on the script too.

‘iSmart Shankar’ is an action entertainer having music of Mani Sharma and cinematography by Raj Thota.Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur are producing the movie and expected for May release.

After KCR, it’s the turn of KTR to attack newspapers running from Telangana but highlighting ‘Andhra news’ in their Telangana editions every day.

During a meeting of Telangana Journalists Association on Thursday, KTR said he was getting irritated in the morning looking at newspapers which are carrying Andhra news and Andhra leaders photos prominently every day in Telangana editions.

KTR also said he is getting confused looking at TS newspapers whether he was staying in Andhra or Telangana.

TRS chief and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, while addressing a press conference at Pragathi Bhavan on the day when TRS swept Assembly polls with a thumping majority on December 11, also expressed severe anger at the TS newspapers highlighting Andhra news every day.

KTR too seems to be adopting the same path shown by his father on this issue.

KTR went a step ahead and threatened managements of newspapers of dire consequences, if they fail to mend their ways.

KTR even went to the extent of warning newspapers which highlight Andhra news in their Telangana editions that TRS government will stop issuing advertisements to such newspapers.

KTR questioned why newspapers were not highlighting Telangana news in their AP editions and said this shows that Andhra newspaper managements were unable to digest or recognise the formation of Telangana State or Telangana’s self respect and self identity even after five years.

In last few years, there’s been an increasing trend that most of the successful South Indian films got remade into Hindi. Some Bollywood filmmakers even acquired the remake rights of movies which released some 10-15 years ago and modernized them to current day in Hindi.

Following same process, the Bollywood industry has set its eye on Raghava Lawrence’s super hit horror series ‘Kanchana’. With Superstar Akshay Kumar in the lead, Lawrence is planning a horror comedy which will be on the lines of ‘Kanchana’. So, which part will he chose to remake in Hindi!? Interestingly, the dance master turned filmmaker is designing a script by clubbing the two parts of Kanchana series.

Much before Kanchana (2011), Lawrence came up with Muni but the film ended up as mediocre. Whereas, the sequel (Muni-2: Kanchana) rocked box-office with huge collections in both Telugu and Tamil. Later, the film was remade in Kannada and it was a blockbuster there also.

The following film in the series, Ganga (2011), also was a blockbuster. So, now, the former dance master is blending Muni and Kanchana to make his Hindi debut with Akshay Kumar. He is likely to grab the major highlights from both the parts and cater it in one film.

Also on other hand, Akshay Kumar who’s been away from comedy genres from a while is keen to work on this horror+comedy entertainer. Raghava Lawrence is expected to begin the Hindi film after releasing his ongoing film ‘Kanchana-3’ on April 18.

A day after Hansika’s pictures surfaced on the internet, the actress responded to it. Hansika tweeted something short and clear saying “Phone n Twitter hacked please don’t respond to any random messages. My back hand team is working on getting things in control.”

This request and message from Hansika confirms that her Social media accounts and phone have been hacked and the hackers left the data out. The personal pictures of Hansika wearing just the inner-wear and bikini made their way to social media yesterday.

Earlier, Akshara Haasan’s private pictures too were leaked and she filed a complaint regarding this. We have to see if Hansika files a complaint with cyber crime department or she just gets back to work after she recovers her hacked accounts back under her thumb again.

As GreatAndhra.com reported earlier, the release date of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Maharshi’ has been pushed to the final week of April from the initial planned date of April 5th.

Dil Raju has officially made announcement that the movie would hit the screens on April 25. But this change in date has not gone well with Mahesh Babu’s fans.

They say it is bad date as the film would lose good weekends and festivals like Ugadi and Sri Rama Navami.

In eagerness to slam the change in date, Mahesh Babu’s fans are forgetting that the film is releasing in the midst of summer holidays. No better date than this the film would find.

If the film is really good, it will have more than month’s dream run at the box-office even if it comes on 25th April.

Moreover, “Maharshi” time will not face any competition from another big Telugu star movie this summer unlike last year.

Mahesh Babu’s “Bharat Ane Nenu” last year competed with big movies like Ram Charan’s “Rangasthalam” and Allu Arjun’s “Naa Peru Surya”.

No big star like Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, NTR and Allu Arjun has readied a movie this summer.

All in all, “Maharshi” has fixed good date. The whole outrage on social media by Mahesh Babu’s fans is silly.

Even other stars’ fans are also laughing at Mahesh Babu’s fans hungama on this change in date.
