Although the film stars Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas as the lead hero, Teja has selected a female name for the movie.
Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas has been picking up powerfully sounding mass titles like “Saakshyam”, “Kavacham”, “Alludu Seenu” and “Speedunnodu” but Teja wanted soft title as per the story.
In this film, Kajal Aggarwal will play aggressive role while Bellamkonda will be seen in subdued avatar. Her character’s name is Seetha. Hence, Teja has given such name to the movie.
The film is slated for March 2019 release and is currently under progress.
Will Jagan Get Justice In NIA Probe?
At last, the Centre has taken up the investigation into the knife attack on YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s life at Visakhapatnam airport on October 25 last.The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Friday ordered transfer of the investigation from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Andhra Pradesh police to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
The high court gave the order following a petition filed by the YSRC seeking investigation by a third party into the attack on Jagan, as he had no faith in the state police.Interestingly, the NIA took up the investigation by registering the first information report (FIR) on January 1 itself, based on a complaint lodged by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which provides security to the airports.
The state government has already made it clear that it cannot hold the responsibility for the knife attack, as the Vizag airport is under the security cover of the CISF.
Generally, NIA takes up high profile criminal cases having national ramifications, particularly those pertaining to terrorist activities and Maoists. In the present case, the attack on Jagan might even be a conspiracy at a highest level, the NIA has been given the responsibility.
However, the NIA might not be able to achieve much in the investigation if the attacker Srinivas Rao had really done it for the sake of publicity and had no intention of killing Jagan. But if the NIA really digs out a big conspiracy, it will nail the Chandrababu Naidu government.
In any case, entrusting the case to NIA itself is a big political success for Jagan, as it proves the Naidu government has not done the right job in the attempt to murder case!
Shruti Haasan Slams Marriage Reports
Shruti Haasan is going through bad phase on her professional front. Since the release of ‘Katamarayudu” in 2017, she has not signed a single movie in Tollywood.
But her personal life has been creating buzz in the social media. She has been sharing photographs taken with her Italian boyfriend Michael Corsale.
Her recent Instagram post led people to believe that she is tying the knots with her boyfriend very soon. Recently, Amy Jackson also posted similar way announcing her engagement.
But Shruti Haasan slams the reports that she is going to marry her boyfriend this year.
“This is news to me,” she reacts in a sarcastic manner.
Will KTR Allow NTR, VVR Benefit shows?
Whenever a big hero film releases, fans gather around to watch the movie well in advance before the regular shows. Noticing this craze, theatres across the Telugu states hold special and benefit shows. This has been a traditional since many years. In Andhra Pradesh, every big hero film will have the above shows and getting permission for them is not much of an effort.
But the scenario is different in Telangana. Hyderabad city only witnesses special and benefit shows. Two years back, this practice has faced hurdles. The main reason being, fans who do not want to miss out watching the movie of their favourite hero, buy tickets of benefit shows for Rs 1000 and more. In the last couple of years, tickets are being sold at unimaginable prices and this got the police attention. So the authorities are denying permission for such shows.
For Sankranthi, ‘NTR – Kathanayakudu’ and ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ are the big hero films. Once again attempts are being made to get authorization of benefit shows. People part of the respective films are trying the best regarding the same and they are in thoughts to approach none other than KTR.
He has the image of being industry friendly and his buddies are young and happening actors. KTR holds the grip over GHMC and officials, police might bow down to him, if he orders. Not surprising to many, he is a movie buff too and in social media, he frequently gets requests from his followers for tickets of big films. Though he politely rejects, he makes sure he doesn’t miss out watching the film.
Keeping this aside, the police are very stubborn in allowing special shows. Will KTR ease the rules and make fans happy or will police take control, we will get to know in couple of days.
Why Biopics When You Can’t Show Facts? Nagababu’s Ultimate Jibe At Balakrishna
All of a sudden, much to everyone’s shock, Mega brother Nagababu has been targeting Nandamuri Balakrishna fire social media posts. Around a couple of weeks ago, Nagababu first created a huge storm by saying in an interview that he doesn’t know who Balakrishna is.
Not stopping there, Nagababu went on to take potshots at Balakrishna on to more occasions on his Facebook. And now, the Mega brother took an ultimate jibe at Balakrishna and his upcoming biopic on his father NT Rama Rao.
“Some lies and some fiction. Why making biopics when you can’t reveal facts?,” Nagababu wrote on his Facebook, ending his post saying that even he can recite poetry, indirectly mocking Balakrishna’s penchant for reciting poetry at public events.
Needless to say that Nagababu’s latest Facebook post has created a storm in a teacup even as NTR Kathanayakudu, the first film in the two-part biopics, is scheduled for a grand release on January 9th. On the other hand, Balayya is yet to counter Nagababu’s posts.

After Rakta Charitra, It’s Modi’s Charitra
Bollywood star Vivekanand Oberoi (Vivek Oberoi) had impressed with his intense performance as Paritala Ravi in RGV’s Rakta Charitra series in 2010. And, very soon, Vivek will be playing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role in the latter’s biopic, titled PM Narendra Modi.
The makers of Narendra Modi biopic today announced that Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi will be reprising Modi’s role in this prestigious biopic. The film’s shooting will begin in mid-January and the first look poster will be released on January 7th. Sandip Singh will be producing this film.
Omung Kumar, the popular art director turned filmmaker who has made award winning biopics like Mary Kom and Sarabjit, will direct this film. Incidentally, Vivek Oberoi will soon be seen in Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama, in which he will be essaying the chief antagonist’s role. We will have to wait and see if the Narendra Modi biopic will create any ripples in national politics.
