Five Films On The Way From Talented Comedian

Share

Comedian Sunil has grown to a greater height in a very short time, thanks to his West Godavari slang, which made him a super hit comedian of the present era Tollywood. Then, he thought of checking luck as a hero but it didn’t go well except on a couple of occasions.

Now that Sunil is back to doing full-time comedian roles, many wondered if he will get a break again. As the likes of Vennela Kishore and Srinivasa Reddy are dominating big time, the situation is not a cakewalk for the proven comedian this time. But the actor is hopeful that his upcoming films will give him all the advantage and dominance he needs.

Though his role in Aravinda Sametha disappointed all, now we have him doing ultimate comedy in upcoming film Chitralahari. And at the same time, Sunil has Raviteja and VI Anand movie in hand, which will be seeing him do a big comedy act. Then in Allu Arjun and Trivikram’s movie, he is going to broke audiences into huge laughter as his friend is bringing that vintage Sunil back.

Apart from these three films, Sunil is doing two other movies with medium budgeted heroes and all these five are going to give a masterstroke to his career, he hopes.

Will KCR contest LS polls or not?

Share

As the Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao is getting ready to announce the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, suspense prevails over whether KCR himself will contest the elections or not.

According to party sources, KCR has kept his cards close to his chest on his decision on contesting the Lok Sabha elections.

A section of party leaders say he would definitely contest the elections and announce his decision to play a major role in the national politics.

“In all probability, he will contest from Medak parliamentary constituency. Otherwise, he will shift to Nalgonda. He will campaign not only in Telangana, but also in states like Uttar Pradesh and Odisha, to propagate the concept of federal front,” a party leader said.

If KCR announces his decision to contest, it will send a clear signal that he is going to anoint his son and TRS working president K T Rama Rao as the next chief minister of Telangana.

But, there is another speculation doing rounds in the party circles. According to it, the TRS president will not contest the Lok Sabha elections at present, but will wait for the outcome of the Lok Sabha elections in May.

If the BJP and Congress fail to get adequate numbers and regional parties make it big in the elections, KCR will make one of his party MPs to resign and then contest the LS polls again, so that he would play a bigger role in the national politics. If necessary, he would pitch himself in as the Prime Ministerial candidate as well.

But, if the BJP returns to power for a second term, or a Congress-led coalition manages to wrest power, KCR will not look at Delhi but will remain as the chief minister for the next five years.

“But if the NDA falls short of majority and seeks the TRS support, then KCR might consider going to Delhi and join the Centre as Union minister. Otherwise, he will make his daughter Kavitha as the Union minister, while he continues as the chief minister,” party sources said.

Sivaja Raja Refuses To Handover MAA To Naresh

Outgoing Movie Artistes Association (MAA) president Sivaji Raja, who recently lost in the MAA election, is refusing to step down from the post as per Naresh. Allegedly, Sivaji Raja isn’t ready to handover the MAA president post to newly-elected Naresh.

According to Naresh, Sivaji Raja doesn’t want to the newly-elected president, vice-president, general secretary and team to take over. Sivaji Raja’s version is that he has tenure till 31st March. He is of the opinion that no one should sit in the MAA president post except him until 31st March. On this matter, Shivaji Raja reportedly threatened to move court if the newly-elected team tries to intervene into the body. Naresh alleged that Shivaji Raja had threatened him on phone. In the emergency meet that took place under the leadership of Election Returning Officer Krishna Mohan, Naresh made these comments.

Naresh said, “Some irregularities have taken place in the MAA during Sivaji Raja’s tenure. Yet, we have forgiven and have decided to move on keeping the integirity of MAA into account. We wanted to unite all and work together. But the latest issues are stopping us from working. We have many works to do. In front of the industry bigwigs, we all have fixed 22nd March as the muhurat. But now Sivaji Raja is refusing to leave office. This is not correct. We are ready to listen to what industry bigwigs say.

Newly-elected vice president Rajashekhar and general secretary Jeevitha were also present.

Rama Rao Garu Still In Loop For Balayya

Share

One of the hyped projects that were in talks long back is none other than “Rama Rao Garu” featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead and directed by Anil Ravipudi. But the film hasn’t materialized though the director stated that he has a pakka script ready for the senior star.

And recently rumors erupted that Anil has shifted that script to Mahesh Babu for their upcoming project. This seems to be untrue, however. We are hearing that Anil Ravipudi is very much ready to direct Balayya, given the fact that the director will be given the earliest chance.

But the Nandamuri star is said to have asked him to wait until the wrap up of Boyapati’s film, and then they might start the much hyped Rama Rao Garu. And in the meantime, even Anil will also complete his film with Mahesh Babu. So that makes sure that Rama Rao Garu will be in the quick loop.

Looks like no hero wants to give up hotshot director Anil whose success rate speaks for himself.

Leaders make beeline to Lotus Pond!

Share

Just a day left for the commencement of nomination process for the much-awaited assembly and Lok Sabah elections in Andhra Pradesh and the leaders appear to have come to the conclusion that YSR Congress party is the best bet compared to Telugu Desam Party, whose graph is on the downside.

It is evident from the way several prominent leaders made a beeline to the Lotus Pond, the YSR Congress party headquarters in Hyderabad.

Several leaders from TDP and the Congress party, who have preferred YSRC to TDP, came to meet YSRC president and joined the party.

Interestingly, even those who have been given the tickets and those who were offered tickets, besides those who were offered Rajya Sabha nomination in the TDP also preferred the YSRC, which they believed have bright chances of coming to power.

Former minister Adala Prabhakar Reddy, who was given the TDP ticket for Nellore (Rural) seat, dumped the party and came to Lotus pond to join the YSRC. Apparently, he was promised the YSRC ticket for Nellore Lok Sabha seat.

Similarly, TDP MLC and former MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy rejected the TDP ticket for Ongole Lok Sabha seat and joined the YSRC, which promised him the same seat. He, too, thought he could win the seat from YSRC, rather than in the TDP.

Former MP and also former minister Konathala Ramakrishna, who was disgusted with dilly-dallying tactics of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, also returned to the YSRC fold. Jagan has lifted the suspension on him and is likely to field him from Anakapalle Lok Sabha seat.

Another MP Butta Renuka from Kurnool also returned to the YSRC after she was denied renomination in her seat by the TDP.

Senior TDP leader and former whip Vanga Geetha, who played a key role in the TDP for several years, realised that she has bright future in YSRC. After staying away from TDP activities for quite some time, she joined the YSRC on Saturday.

Senior Congress leader Dronamraju Srinivas also joined YSRC to revive his lost glory in Visakhapatnam district.

“These joining are indications of the fact that the momentum is with YSRCP, and the party is set to sweep the coming elections,” a party leader said.

“Saaru… Caru.. Bekaru”: Revanth satires on KCR

Share

After getting a place in the Lok Sabha candidates list, Congress working president has begun his election campaign. As part of it, Revanth made satirical comments on KCR led TRS government.

“Under KCR’s second term, the TRS government is doing nothing what has promised before the assembly elections. Saaru.. Caru… Bekaru.. this is how the government is function in the last few months. Instead of fulfilling the promises what he made, KCR is wasting time by doing his unwanted politics and diverting the attention of people. This stunts may not work out in long term and we will list out all the wrongdoings of KCR before the people,” Revanth.

TRS is confident of winning 16 out of the 17 seats in the Lok Sabha elections and is planning to play a crucial role in forming the next government. Commenting on this, Revanth said, “KCR’s national politics plans are like Gachibowli Diwakar who plays gully cricket. In Delhi, the fight is only going to be between Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. KCR will be 12th man in cricket who is only useful for bringing drinks and passing on the ball. KCR is projecting himself as a big leader and may be trying his best to find jobs for few more in his family.”

Revanth will be contesting from Malkajgiri and it is a do or die situation for him. If he wins, KCR government will certainly have a tough time or else as usual.
