Tollywood sensation Vijay Devarakonda is making sure to come up with interesting roles with every movie. The actor who played the role of a Taxi driver in his previous movie ‘Taxiwala’ is now going to play an interesting role in a biopic.

It is known that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is currently starring in the biopic of cricketer Kapil Dev titled as ’83’. Another cricketer Srikkanth is a close friend of Kapil Dev. As per the latest reports, Vijay Deverakonda is onboard to play the friend role of Kapil Dev in the film. Vijay will be seen as Srikkanth in the biopic of Kapil Dev and will have enough screen presence. Earlier Vijay Devarakonda played the role of a cricketer in ‘Nuvvila’ movie in which he played a cameo role.

Kabir Khan is helming this project and this prestigious biopic will go on floors next year. Vijay Devarakonda is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Dear Comrade’.

‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ is undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated January releases next year. The makers have recently kickstarted the promotions and yesterday they have organized a grand audio launch event and also unveiled the trailer of the film.

The audio launch event of NTR biopic took place as a star-studded affair and so many celebrities shared their experience memories of NTR. Yesteryear actress Jamuna also graced the event and while talking at the event she is all praises about Nandamuri Balakrishna. Talking at the event, it is a rare thing these days that a son living up to the name of their father and mother. But Balakrishna is a perfect son for his father.

When she tried to say he is even greater than NTR, Balayya immediately closed her mouth with his hand. After that, she stated that NTR did hundreds of folk films and mythological films but it is really an adventure to make a biopic on him. That is why Balakrishna is greater than him” said Jamuna.

With the trailer, the makers have confirmed that the first part of a biopic titled as ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ will be released on 9th January 2019 whereas the second part of the film will hit the screens on 7th February 2019.

‘Vennupotu’ Song from ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ created a sensation. It was trending on YouTube at 6th Position and attained over 1 million views in a short span. The Song received as many as 48,000 likes on the official channel.While unveiling the controversial song, Ram Gopal Varma commented: ‘Ae Deyyalanni Kalisi Devudu Lanti NTR Ni Telugu Prajalaku Lekunda Chesayo Vati Kadhe #LaxmisNTR’.

TDP MLA SV Mohan Reddy lodged a complaint against RGV’s ‘Vennupotu’ Song in Kurnool II Town Police Station. He accused Varma of defaming Chandrababu Naidu with the inclusion of his images in the song. ‘The meaning of the song conveys as if our CM had plotted a conspiracy and backstabbed Ex-CM NTR Garu. So, Kindly take necessary action against the maker of the movie, Ram Gopal Varma,’ read the complaint.

In reply, Varma told he will be filing a counter complaint against the TDP Leader. Sharing a video of few people burning his photos, Ramu commented: ‘They are not angry..They are smiling and enjoying..Can I also join the party please. Protestors are increasing the views of ‘Vennupotu’ song. The visible protestors of #LakshmisNTR will be less than 50, and 40 out of them are just side kicks. Net Viewers of ‘Vennupotu’ Song are around 1.5 million. People who aren’t thinking that #LakshmisNTR isn’t about Chandrababu shouldn’t think that it’s also not about NTR’.

He has been making romantic dramas from the start but his movies haven’t been able to set the cash registers on a roll.His films at best have been Satellite TV hits with bits being enjoyed by many. He did try a big budget action film last year which tanked.

This time he is back with a romantic drama and there is huge stress on him about making the movie a hit, for sure. Movie went over budget and the stress deteriorated his health it seems. He checked himself into hospital with hypertension and doctors have asked him to take rest in hospital, itself it seems.

Also, de-stressing methods and medication has been prescribed to him, it seems. He is expected to stay in hospital for a week it seems. His movie released recently to negative feedback mostly.

Tollywood King Akkineni Nagarjuna, his son Akkineni Akhil and star beauty Rakul Preet Singh inaugurated South India shopping mall in Rajahmundry on Friday. The mall was constructed at Gokavaram bus station.

Akkineni Akhil took his official Instagram handle to post some of the pictures from the event. He shared two pictures; one from the flight and another from the event. Nagarjuna is looking dapper in the black shirt. Akhil is looking handsome in his white T-shirt whereas Rakul is looking sizzling hot in her blue saree. “Happy Shopping Rajahmundry :)” captioned Akhil. Varun Tej-starrer space thriller has topped at the US Box Office as it edged out Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi’s Padi Padi Leche Manasu. After topping BO at the premieres, Antariksham continued its hold on Friday as well.

Antariksham has earned 63135 USD on Friday from its regular shows at 106 locations, followed by KGF Chapter 1 (Kannada and Telugu) which garnered 58607 USD, followed by Sharwa-Sai Pallavi starrer romantic drama Padi Padi Leche Manasu. PPLM settled with meagre 44,360 USD.

Combining Thursday Premieres and Friday revenues, Antariksham pocketed 1,54,727 USD from 106 locations. Padi Padi Leche Manasu has made 1,18,945 USD from 99 locations from Thursday premieres and regular shows on Friday.

KGF Chapter 1 (Kannada and Telugu combine) made 1,20,621 USD from 61 locations on Thursday and Friday. Among regional films, Antariksham and KGF are strong at the US BO. Interestingly, two Telugu films and a Kannada film have outperformed Tamil films at the US BO. Dhanush and Sai Pallavi’s Maari 2 got meagre 18,880 USD from 32 locations whereas Seethakathi earned 13,640 USD from 14 locations.

Veering towards Bollywood films, Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma’s Zero made a whopping 3,38,640 USD on Friday from 286 locations.

And the buzz reveals an exciting update on Prabhas’ role in Amour. Apparently, the Young Rebel Star will be seen in the role of a vintage car dealer in Europe. An incident which occurs during a car deal reportedly forms the film’s story and the story travels with several twists and turns.

Until recently, there were reports that Prabhas plays the role of a palm reader in Italy. We will have to see if this latest rumor about Prabhas playing a vintage car dealer will turn out to be true in the end or not. Pooja Hegde is the heroine in Prabhas20. Radha Krishna Kumar is directing the film and Prabhas’ Uncle Krishnam Raju is producing the movie.
