Boasting a stellar star-cast, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s #NTRBiopic is one of those films where you get to see a galore of actors performing their best. And some have done this film out of respect towards NTR and some did it by charging a hefty fee. Guess who is the costliest actor in this whole unit.

The likes of Prakash Raj and Nasser have become costliest actors long back as they are demanding anywhere between 3-5 lakhs for a day’s call sheet. That said, they have done only some small roles in this movie that last for hardly 3-4 scenes. However, one actress who has appeared throughout the film is none other than Vidya Balan. She is said to be the costliest one than a Rakul Preet or Hansika, they say.

According to the grapevine, Vidya has charged nearly 5 lakhs per day as remuneration, while a lakh more will be her expenses including that of hair, makeup, assistants, stay and food. And she is said to have worked for more than 15 days for the movie, thereby walking away with 75 lakhs remuneration. The likes of Rakul are not being paid such an amount for a full length heroine role these days!!

Actress Kajal Aggarwal, who teams up with actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan for the first time in the upcoming Tamil film “Indian 2”, says signing the project has been a step up in her over a decade-long career.

Last seen on screen in Telugu film “Kavacham”, Kajal has already begun prepping for her role in “Indian 2”.

“I’m really thrilled to be part of the project. I’m quite excited about my role and the skills I will get to learn on the job. I see signing ‘Indian 2′ as a step up in my career,” Kajal told IANS along the sidelines of the launch of beverage brand 7Up’s new campaign, 7Up Ponneram.

Ponneram translates to golden times in English. Kajal said her career’s golden times started when she signed S.S. Rajamouli’s “Magadheera”.

“My golden times started when I signed ‘Magadheera’. I have seen many ups and downs in my profession but it was only after I did ‘Magadheera’ did my career catapult to the next league. It earned me a lot of recognition which I enjoy even today,” she said.

Talking about what excited her most about the association with 7Up, Kajal said: “It’s a brand a lot of us can easily identify and relate with. I like the fact that it’s a very clear beverage. It’s also a drink that lets you take a step back and chill. I treat success or failure by taking a step back and I believe it gives you a lot of clarity.”

On the career front, Kajal is keenly looking forward to the release of “Paris Paris”, the Tamil remake of Kangana Ranaut’s “Queen”.

“Paris Paris” will be Kajal’s first release of 2019.

“When I was offered the ‘Queen’ remake, I saw it as a story that can be explored in many languages. It’s a simple story of a simple girl that I could connect with on many levels. I’m sure there are a lot of girls across different parts of Tamil Nadu who will relate to this story and I’d be glad if this film empowers them,” she added.

Macho hero Gopichand’s has signed a spy thriller for the first time and this new film is formally launched on Saturday in Hyderabad.

Tamil director Thiru will be directing the movie while the regular shooting will begin from January 18th and the release is expected in May.

‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ fame Vishal Chandrasekhar will be composing music for this yet-to-be title movie and Vetri Palanisamy will handle the cinematography. Abburi Ravi will pen the dialogues.

Hero Gopichand will be sporting a new look in this movie to be produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments banner.

The moment #NTRBiopic trailer is out, the one who is vehemently talking about this film on Twitter is none other than maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. And it looks like his tweets are completely out of control like him, as he wants to get maximum promotions for Lakshmi’s NTR by using #NTRMahanayakudu and #NTRKathanayakudu.

Sharing the result of a twitter poll, where 60% people voted that they will see Lakshmi’s NTR than NTR Biopic, Varma added, ‘This is because more people want to know truth than less people want to hear lies’. The first thing is, how come Varma think that those who want to see Lakshmi’s NTR are seekers of truth and others are not?

For people born in 1985 and onwards, they don’t about the legacy of NTR because, by the time they reached 10 years of age, the legend is already gone. And for all of them, there is a general curiosity to find out how an ordinary person from Nimmakuru village became such a magnanimous personality who ruled the silver screen for decades. Then his political journey is also interesting to many.

After looking at the #NTRBiopic trailer, many fell in instant love with it, because they want to see how NTR evolved as an actor, how he entered film industry and how he got into such a higher position. But Varma thinks that only the last one year of NTR’s lifetime, where politics took a toll on him, are the best part of his life. That’s foolish to think, isn’t it? As important as the legend’s death, which he thinks is a lot of controversial and ‘vennu potu’ politics, the making of the legend is equally and more important we have to say.

This instant mockery only proves that Varma is trying to get more attention, which he got anyway, but not actually trying to see behind his sensation filled eyes to find out what Krish and Balayya are coming up with. Angry netizens are saying, “Varm garu! You can make your own version of NTR Biopic, but don’t make a mockery of the genuine film being made by Balakrishna. Stop this nonsense and focus on your shooting”

But this is not going to be his first one as a leading man, but he signed to play an important character in the upcoming biopic of cricketer Kapil Dev. Titled “83”, this biopic being directed by Kabir Khan narrates the story of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev and his world cup winning team in 1983. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Kapil in this film.

Now, Vijay Devarakonda is signed to play the role of Tamil cricketer Krishnamachari Srikanth who is also part of 1983’s men-in-blue team. In real life both Kapil and Srikanth are very good friends and that makes us to wait to thunderbolt performers, Ranveer and Vijay shine in the screen together.

Like we said in some of the earlier articles, many film kids initially feel averse about joining the film industry. Eventually, however, they change their minds and pick the film industry as their final spot to make sense. And that is what happened with many kids till date.

Latest to enter the bandwagon is none other than leading mega-producer Allu Arvind’s elder son Allu Bobby. Though Arvind’s second son entered the game as a hero and became the Stylish Star, his other two sons took some time. His younger son Allu Sirish entered as a producer and finally became a hero. And now its Bobby’s turn.

Reports are coming that Bobby will be handling the cash registers as he is all set to become a producer now. Along with a friend, he is all set to enter the film industry by producing Varun Tej’s next film, which has a boxing backdrop and will be directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati.

The only negative talk that engulfed #NTRBIopic if there is any, is about the kinds of roles Nandamuri Balakrishna played on the silver screen. Many expressed their dissatisfaction as the senior hero is donning many getups of legendary NTR.

Talking about the same, the horse itself stunned everyone at the audio launch last night. “Some of them might bring news like Balakrishna is mad about mythological roles and hence played all these getups in #NTRBiopic. I am not mad. But we have done only what is needed. There is nothing in excess” said Balayya.

Adding more, he articulated, “I’ve tried to show the best parts of NTR as we do know that even a two-part film is not enough to showcase NTR’s legacy,” said Balayya”. Probably that clarifies why he has donned almost 63 getups for the film and also why it is being released in two parts.

As #NTRKathanayakudu is hitting cinemas on January 9th, Balayya also clarified that he took the permission and blessings of the whole of Nandamuri Family and told them the story he is making into a film, and proceeded for the shoot. That’s another stunner, isn’t it?

No doubt, Babayi Nandamuri Balakrishna and Abbayi Jr NTR sharing dais at the audio launch of NTR Biopic films (Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu) is an eye feast for all Nandamuri fans and joining them is Nandamuri Kalyan Ram who all together made the day. But Nandamuri fans got a surprise guest too from Nandamuri family. It is none other than legendary NTR’s doting daughter Daggubati Purandeswari and her husband Daggubati Venkateswara Rao.

While Purandeswari had been staying away from the family members, particularly with Nandamuri Balakrishna owing to political differences, many haven’t expected the presence of Daggubati couple at the audio launch event. But interestingly, keeping aside the political conflict, she and her husband have made it to the event upon on Balayya’s request. Balayya telephoned ‘Chinnamma’ Purandeswari and asked her to present. She obliged her brother’s request. Naturally, fans are excited to see Purandeswari and Venkateswara Rao too at the do.

The couple gave a pleasant surprise for Nandamuri fans for sure, but what grabbed attention of many is the book in Daggubati Venkateswara Rao’s hand. The book is ‘From Frames to Fame’ written based in on NTR’s life events, particularly when his interests took a great inclination towards politics from cinema.

Besides thee who’s who of Nandamuri family, a few bigwigs of Tollywood including Superstar Krishna, Rebel Star Krishnam Raju, Collection King Mohan Babu, Darshakendra Raghavendra Rao too graced the audio launch. However, Mega Family and Akkineni Family is clearly missing owing to Balayya’s stark differences with them.
