The surgical strike in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) is all over news from the wee hours of Tuesday. Indian Air Force’s Mirage-2000 carried out the strikes in Balkot, Muzafarabad Sector and one more place.
Pakistan Major General has acknowledged Indian jets crossing the Line of Control (LoC). Sources say that Pakistan armed forced tried to retaliate and deployed F16 jets at its army base. However, looking at the IAF’s Mirage-2000, Pak’s F16 returned to their army base instead strike back.
Mirage-2000 are the deadliest single seat aircrafts and has a maximum speed of 2336 kmph and can travel 1550 km with drop tanks. The total length of the aircraft is 14.36 metres and weighs around 7500 kilos.
Previously Mirage-2000 were used in the victorious Kargil war and once again these fighter jets proved their worth. France, Egypt, UAE, Peru, Taiwan, Peru, Greece and Brazil are the other countries that own Mirage-2000 aircrafts.

Superstar Mahesh is busy shooting for his latest film “Maharshi” on one side and he is also hearing to scripts from new directors other side. But at this point of time, with rumors floating out that his latest movie is likely to get a change in the release date, it looks like bad propaganda has started against him already.
What is surprising is that, at a time when Superstars like Mahesh will have huge team to handle their affairs, and with Mahesh having the biggest force like Namratha Shirodkar with him, some rumor mongers shared that he is coming late to the sets of Maharshi due to various commitments including AMB Cinemas, Web Series Production and others. Is there any spec of truth in this?
Known for his discipline when it comes to attending shoots, Mahesh could organize all these meetings at shooting spot only if he wants, why would he turn up late on the set? Also with Namratha handling those things, what is the need for Mahesh to come late? Apparently baseless gossips are claiming that Maharshi is getting delayed due to Mahesh, but there seems to be nothing such.
And coming to Maharshi delay, Mahesh is said to have asked to reshoot some parts but that doesn’t mean he wants to miss April 25th date. Let’s wait for Dil Raju’s clarity over the film’s release date which is already locked by him.
When the whole of India is rejoicing in the Surgical Strikes taken up by Indian Air Force that killed nearly 300 JeM terrorists inside Pakistan, 50 KMs from the LoC, our #BigBoss star Kaushal Manda is busy speaking for himself.
Other day actually few members of his so called #KaushalArmy took a huge dig at him, making some serious allegations about his behavior, personality and tactics. Responding on the same, Kaushal shared on his social media, “The allegations passed are senseless and I don’t even have to prove them to be wrong. I haven’t got all the time for bullshit and if I keep answering to every judgement passed, the people will keep trying to bring me down”.
He proudly adds, “What I’m at the Big Boss house is what I’m and that would be me regardless of any circumstance. Just a few people talking against could never bring me down”. However, it would have been better if Kaushal opened up on how these allegations have come up int he first place, as someone accused him of collecting huge money in the name of #KaushalArmy.

Seems like YSR Congress folks wants to make the most of “Yaatra” at a time when biopic movies are being rejected outright by Telugu audiences. This film that revolved around YSR’s Paada Yaatra hasn’t created any big impact like how NTR Katahanayakudu and Mahanayakudu failed to do so. But YSRC folks have a plan.
In some secondary grade towns like Sattenapalli, now YSR Congress is coming up with ideas like showing the film at free of cost to audiences. At a theatre in Sattenapalli, the film will be screened four shows each day for the next days at free of cost. All you have to do is buy the parking ticket for your vehicle and sit inside theatres.
While they called that the film is not a propaganda movie, it looks like the film’s screening is being made into propaganda now. Though this sounds like a nice idea, in reality, who has time to sit in theatres for two hours to catch up a political film even though if it is being screened for free.
At a time when digital streaming sites like Amazon Prime are bringing movies directly into your phone, free-screenings at theatres might not yield big results.
In a strange case, Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao surprise all the members of Telangana Legislative Assembly when he showered praises on TDP Founder and former CM of AP Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
In a debate with Telangana Congress leaders in the house, KCR clarified on the opportunities provided to people of all sections and explained about how Congress has a bad legacy of ignoring different sections of people. ” We all have histories. Someone who has recognised BCs and fought for their rights and provided place in the government postings and opportunities is Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Yes, it is true and no one can deny that,” KCR said, while TRS legislators applauded him.
Not stopping at that and acknowledging that he was a TDP karyakarta, KCR said: “Even you were in Telugu Desam Party then, Mr. Speaker. I too was in TDP at the time. This Congress hasn’t done anything for BCs. During Congress’ rule, except for landlords, no one got any place or opportunity. Where was social justice when Congress ruled AP? Congress’ legacy has all Doras (from different villages and mandals). These are not my words. It is Indian history and there are several books written on this.”
“They (the groups of leaders who were landowners) became MLAs and MPs and local leaders. Not backward castes or SCs or STs. It is Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao who brought various sections into politics and gave them opportunity to contest and saw them as worthy of any opportunity,” KCR said, adding that Congress legacy is fraught with opportunists. These words of praise for NTR caught several TRS leaders by surprise as KCR acknowledged TDP’s work for social justice.
Telugu Desam Party MP from Guntur has made sensation comments on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his government about the dues to be paid to his company. His company, Transtroy India, should receive Rs. 300 crore from the Telangana government, he stated, adding that despite repeated pleas made to Telangana government, it has not cleared them.
Transtroy has taken up several projects in Telangana and has sent the bills to the Telangana government to clear them. “They have no cleared after making several appeals. Additionally, his government is threatening us. Recently, KCR called all the pharma company heads, which are run by Andhra leaders. In the meeting, he said that each company should give Jagan Rs. 100 crore for the upcoming elections. He threatened them that if they do not do it, then he will ensure they don’t exist,” alleged Rayapati.
“After no response to all the pleas, I have decided to knock on the doors of the court. Due to the pressure from few TRS leaders on our businesses, some MPs are shifting to YSR Congress. KCR is a traitor and everyone knows what he did to TDP. KCR and his team of leaders threatening MPs who have businesses and properties in Hyderabad. Due to this fear, many have switched over to YSRCP. We will not surrender to his blackmail and extortion plans,” Rayapati said, speaking to mediapersons.
Adding that all these plans are being hatched by trio. the BJP, YSRCP and TRS, he said that the Telugu Desam Party does not fear such evil designs by these parties. “No one can compete with Chandrababu Naidu and even they are aware of it. That is why they are coming up with such dirty tricks and plans to scare our TDP leaders,” he said.
India woke up to a piece of news that has left the entire nation feeling proud. The Indian Air Force (IAF) dropped 1,000 kg of bombs in the region of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to eliminate terror camps in the area.
This was a reaction to the deadly Pulwama attack, in which 40 CRPF jawaans lost their lives on February 14.
According to reports, the strike took place at 3:30AM, using 12 mirage fighter jets that destroyed various terrorist regions including Balakot, Muzaffarabad, Chakothi.
While several Bollywood celebrities took to their respective social media accounts to laud the officers of the India Air Force, south Indian superstars are nowhere left behind to appreciate the strike.
South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni, took to her Twitter account to praise the IAF and wrote, “No starting wars but ending it like. #IndianAirForce #JaiHind”

It is a known fact that “People First helping – 1100” in Andhra Pradesh has been a medium to reach out to people in case of any grievances and seek their feedback on government services. However, one case of a Deepam connection beneficiary ended up suspending a government official who demanded bribe from the citizen.
Shivashankar Rao, a beneficiary who had applied for gas connection on his wife’s name in 2016, asked the MRO’s office to correct his wife’s name in the ration card as it was spelt wrongly. Due to this, the Deepam connection was rejected. The middleman at the MRO’s office demanded Rs. 1000 to correct his wife’s name on the ration card. Rao, who did not have Rs. 1000 with him had borrowed it from a friend and have it to the middleman.
However, Shivashankar Rao recently reached out to the middleman again to find out whether he had corrected the name since it has already been over two years. On finding out that the middleman still did not issue the ration card with the right name, he was upset. Much to his surprise, he received a call from 1100 helpline which sought his feedback on the government’s services.
Rao, informed the helpline executives that he was forced to offer a bribe for Deepam connection and still did not receive it despite repeated calls. Following his complaint, the “People First -1100” helpline reprimanded the middleman at the MRO’s office and ensured that he returned Rao’s money and got the ration card delivered to his residence.
At a recent meeting, Rao shared his experience with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and thanked the government for being so responsive. On the other hand, he also told people to come forward to report such cases without fear. On the occasion, the Chief Minister reiterated his confidence in rooting out corruption from the state. The Chief Minister eventually ordered for MRO’s suspension for demanding bribe.

Tollywood’s popular comedian Ali has recently been on news for meeting YSRCP chief Jagan. Later, he went on to meet CM Chandrababu Naidu and is planning to join TDP. It is also heard that Ali is keen to contest as MLA from the Guntur district and requested the same to Chandrababu.
From the beginning, Ali has amicable relations with the whole Megastar family. He is a close friend of Pawan Kalyan. People speculated that Ali would definitely join Janasena with respect to Pawan’s friendship. But looks like things went the other way round.
Now, Ali started praising Pawan Kalyan all of a sudden and even said Pawan is Father Teresa for his humanitarian assistance to the people. On the other hand, Ali has been recently felicitated by Chandrababu and this leaves the public in a confusing state whether Ali is joining TDP or YSRCP or Janasena.
But, Ali has confirmed that he is absolutely ready to enter any party only if he gets a proper invitation with an MLA ticket. Therefore, it is assured that Ali is on no one’s side and is solely looking for a grand political entry. However, he is also has close connections with both Jagan and Chandrababu apart from Pawan Kalyan.

Tamil superstar Thala Ajith is known for his simplicity. He keeps his personal life quite private and he is not on social media. So we hardly find pictures of his and his family members on the internet.
But a recent picture of Ajith’s wife, Shalini and son Aadwik has gone viral as netizens noticed a strange thing in Shalini’s hand. It is none other than a phone which is a basic model. In the era of smartphones, all the star heroes and their wives use a high end spec phone and do constantly click pictures and share on Instagram. But it’s the latest version of Nokia 3310 that was in Shalini’s hand and it would cost around Rs 3200.
However, we are not sure whether it is her phone. Both Ajith and Shalini are down to earth persons and always prefer to stay away from the limelight and let their work do the talking. This picture proves Ajith is such a normal man and that is why fans love him and respect his family.

In a press conference, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale confirmed that Masood Azhar-led JeM is active in Pakistan and is responsible for a series of terror attacks, including 2001 Parliament attack and Pathankot air base attack. “A suicide attack was conducted on February 14, leading to the martyrdom of 40 brave jawans of CRPF,” said Gokhale.
Explaining about Indian Air Force’s strikes as response to Pakistan’s recent attack on CRPF Jawans, he said: “India struck the biggest training camp of JeM in Balakot. A large number of JeM terrorists were killed.
Top commanders were eliminated in the strike. The strike avoided civilian casualties.” He added that this action was specifically targeted at the JeM camp. “We avoided civilian casualties with the selection of the camp, which is located deep inside forests, isolated from civilian areas and located on a hill top.”
Adding on the intelligence inputs, Vijay Gokhale said: “Credible intel was received that JeM was planning more suicide attacks in India. In the face of imminent danger, a preemptive strike became absolutely necessary. The Government of Pakistan in 2004 made a promise to India that it allow its soil or the country’s resources for terrorist operations. But it has violated its promise.”
However, he said that India has provided information about JeM’s operations has to Pakistan from time to time but it has always denied knowledge of their existence. “Since the action took place just hours ago, we are waiting for more
Actor turned politician and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan continued his second-day tour in the Kurnool district on Monday. At 4 pm in the evening, Pawan Kalyan has attended a meeting with 500 cotton farmers at Adoni in the district.
In order to hear their daily struggles, one of the farmers from the crowd was called on the stage by Pawan. Before giving the mike to the farmer, Pawan said, “I came here today to hear all your problems. I’m here for your future. Without farmers, we are not there. Let me hear what this farmer has got to say,’ and he gave the mike to the farmer.
“Excess rains have caused water logging and damaged our cotton crops. We even had to sell our animals,” said the farmer. Later, he went on by placing his hand on Pawan’s shoulder and asked to help YS Jagan win this time. He said if Jagan comes, he will provide all the needs of farmers.
Obviously, Pawan was not prepared to hear something like this and this came as a shock to both Pawan Kalyan and Nadendla Manohar who was also present there. However, other farmers in the event clapped loudly when the farmer pleaded Pawan on Jagan’s win.

Director Boyapati Sreenu was well in the spotlight couple weeks of ago as tensions broke out between producer DVV Danayya and him regarding the flop show of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. And it seems like the issue got settled and the director moved on to his other projects.
There was buzz everywhere back then that some leading producers who gave advances to Boyapati are actually demanding him to return. While the progress about those things is not known, we’re hearing that Boyapati has returned back a production house’s advance.
Actually Boyapati’s next was supposed to be in Mythri Movie Makers banner, and those producers wanted to go ahead with Boyapati-Balayya film without worrying about #VVR result. But Balayya is said to be not showing interesting to work with outsiders at the moment and he wants Boyapati’s film to be shot on his own banner. Owing to this, Boyapati is said to have returned the advance paid by the producers.
Cut to Boyapati-Balayya film, we hear that the script work is going on at the moment and shooting will start post-Summer.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been targeting his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu in the cash-for-vote case of 2015, in which the latter allegedly tried to buy the vote of a nominated MLC to secure victory for the TDP candidate in the MLC elections.
But, going by the indications, KCR is also adopting the same cash-for-vote strategy to lure the votes of the opposition MLAs in the ensuing MLC elections to five seats under assembly constituencies’ quota to be held on March 12.
According to the EC rules, each candidate requires votes of a minimum of 21 MLAs to be elected as an MLC under assembly constituencies’ quota.
The TRS won 90 seats in the 119-member assembly including that of two independent MLAs. So, it can win four seats.
On the other hand, the Congress won 19 seats in the assembly and its alliance partner in Maha Kootami (grand alliance) Telugu Desam Party got another two MLAs. So, the Congress has the chance of winning one seat, with the support of the two TDP MLAs.
But, KCR has fielded five candidates, including that of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM), in the MLC polls. If the four TRS candidates get 21 MLA votes each, the TRS would be left with six more votes.
Since MIM has seven MLAs, the fifth candidate can get another seven votes. Still, the TRS will fall short of eight votes to secure the victory of a fifth candidate.
So, the TRS has to depend on cross voting by eight MLAs from Maha Kootami (Congress and TDP). Assuming that TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah will also vote for the fifth candidate of TRS-MIM alliance, KCR still needs seven MLAs.
How can he get their votes? Obviously, KCR has to woo seven Congress MLAs to cross-vote for the fifth candidate. They should either defect to the TRS en masse or KCR should pay them hefty amounts to make them cross vote for the TRS. Or he would offer some contracts or other inducements.
Does it not amount to cash-for-vote, Mr KCR?
