If there are two stars of equal stature in a movie, surely it takes a lot for them to balance their egos and surpass that pride. While our male stars never team up for a film, often star heroines come onboard together for many films.

Recently we have seen the absence of Mehreen at promotions of Kavacham, as rumors existed that Kajal Agarwal is said to have laid a demand that she will be attending promotions only if she is present solo without any other girl. Now, it looks like another such thing is happening yet again in Tollywood.

This week, we have one of the sophisticated films Antariksham hitting cinemas. And the makers want the pricey heroine Aditi Rao Hydari, who took a cool crore to star in the film, and beautiful Lavanya Tripathi, who is struggling to find her feet in Tollywood, to promote the film together along with mega hero Varun Tej.

Some rumors are doing rounds that Aditi wants to promote the film alone as she feels that there is no need to promote the movie together with Lavanya as there are no combination scenes for them.

The name Sai Pallavi itself invokes a section of rumor mongers who feel that she is that hot-headed actress who never respects her co-stars. And the words of Naga Shourya about this happening heroine only added salt to these rumors. But what is the truth?

Apparently, these rumors have engulfed Sharwanand’s Padi Padi Lechenu Manasu as it was written in gossip columns that the Tamil beauty has shown stars to the makers of this film. Also, some rumors have that she is not on friendly terms with Sharwa and the shooting schedules got extended due to that.

Rebuking all such talks, Sharwa added, “You might have heard many things about Sai Pallavi, but don’t believe in all that rubbish. She is a supremely talented girl with great future”. As he said that, Sai Pallavi blushed, at the pre-release event of PPLM.

Given the fact that many talented heroes are liking to team up with her, Bunny also expressed his desire to work with Sai Pallavi, saying that he always think about matching dance steps with her. Also, the mega hero revealed that he watched Fidaa’s Vachinde songs that many times, more than Sai Pallavi watched it.

Tollywood’s star hero Prabhas guest house has been seized Revenue Officials. Prabhas house property at Raidurg has been seized on Monday following court orders. Going into details, land of 84 acres and 30 Guntas in Survey No. 46 has been contentious for long. It has been in the court over 40 years. With the court verdict finally came out in favour of the petitioners, Serilingampally Tahsildar and his team have cleared the illegal constructions in the land and took handover of the site. As Prabhas’ house is also in this contentious land, officials have seized the building.

Going into details, one Mala Ramulu, Neerudu Lakshmaiah and Siva Ramakrishna had approached court earlier over their land in Raidurg’s Survey No. 46. After hearing their version and observing the validating proofs, court has ruled in their favour. The court had then ordered to register the land in the name of the petitioners and it directed the then Tahsildar to register the land in petitioner’s names. However, it didn’t happen. So, petitioners have moved the court again. Acting on it, the court has become serious on Tahsildar over the contempt of court. It directed the present Tahsildar to immediately issue documents in the name of petitioners.

Acting on court orders, Tahsildar has got removed the illegal constructions in the land and even seized Prabhas’ house property. Meanwhile, locals have turned against Tahsildar for removing their constructions. They also planned to move the court.

Though the Stylish Star is unable to find a story for his next, he is very good at evaluating the work done by others. And the kind of comment he made on director Hanu Raghavapudi’s films is an example of that.

Other day at Padi Padi Lechenu Manasu pre-release event, Allu Arjun said that he watched all of Hanu Raghavapudi’s films and there is a point in all of them. “In Andala Rakshsasi, the love story part is good. Even in Krishnagadi Prema Gaadha, the love story is pretty good. Also in LIE movie, the love story is really impressive. I felt that this director should make films with love stories as that is his strength” he pointed out.

Well, in all of Hanu’s films, the love stories are really good for that matter, though other parts are not engaging. And now, PPLM is a pure love story and Bunny openly told the director, “Please do a love story with me also”. That said, we wonder why a hero who could analyze every story this way is unable to find a story for himself.

Maybe too much of analyzing is costing Bunny dear. Let’s see when will he find a good script and announce his next.

We will have to wait until April next year to see what director Vamshi Paidipally is upto with the film’s story.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram who has been running through lean phase in his career is looking for a break with KV Guhan’s directorial 118. The film is produced by Mahesh Koneru on East Coast Productions.

The teaser is very interesting with vibrant visuals. We can expect stunning visuals with cinematographer turned director at the helm. Production values by Mahesh Koneru are impressive.

The teaser has shades of Ghajini and 1 Nenokkadine. 118 denotes the time 1:18 when an unfortunate incident happens in the protagonist’s life. Shalini Pandey plays the female lead.

The teaser shows promise and looking good enough to end the woes of Kalyan Ram at the box office.

Koratala Siva’s plans to launch Megastar Chiranjeevi’s movie next month have gone kaput.

As the shoot of Chiranjeevi’s “Sye Raa” is extending further, Koratala Siva have to wait for some more months to take the film to the floors.

Meanwhile, the director is planning to produce small films in association with his friend Sudhakar.

Koratala Siva has already agreed to direct a movie for his close friend and distributor Sudhakar next year with NTR as the lead actor.

In addition to this, he will also be investing money in his friend’s banner to produce concept based movies.

Currently work is happening in this regard. It remains to be seen whether he would launch this small films now or later. He will take the credit as presenter, said a source.

Adult film star-turned-Bollywood actress Sunny Leone, who is often a target of sexist and disparaging remarks by people, says she is disturbed when “nonsense” gets highlighted.

“I always try to push negativity aside, but there are some things which I can’t because I am also a human and I have feelings.

“I get disturbed when the media exaggerates and highlights things that they know is nonsense and can hurt people. If radical, violent groups are not given attention then maybe this world would be a better place to live in,” Sunny told IANS over e-mail.

Despite paving a successful path for herself in Bollywood, Sunny attracts malicious comments from several people, especially on social media. But their wrath and hatred cannot stop Sunny as she knows how to “protect herself”. Sometimes, she even has to answer “judgmental as well as misogynistic” questions thrown at her by journalists.

She said: “Each situation is different and I always like to give the journalist the benefit of the doubt; but I have worked up the courage to throw something back at them. I know how to make them equally feel uncomfortable or really bad. So then it stops there usually. I don’t know any other way to protect myself than to speak up.”

Before making her Bollywood debut with Pooja Bhatt’s 2012 thriller “Jism 2”, Sunny participated in the controversial reality television series “Bigg Boss”. Later, she featured in movies like “Ragini MMS 2”, “Ek Paheli Leela”, “Kuch Kuch Locha Hai”, “Mastizaade” and “Tera Intezaar”.

Was it tough to depict her real life on screen?

“I did not know where to begin on my emotional journey… I had no idea it would affect me this way… I cried every day, wondering if this was the right path I (was) supposed to take.

“I still wonder sometimes, but the positive outcome has been great and that’s when I knew it was okay to take this path. And I believe there is more to come.”

Apart from films and shows, Sunny recently performed a dance number in Bangladeshi musician Taposh’s music video titled “Lovely accident”, which is produced under her and her husband Daniel Weber’s production banner SunCity Media and Entertainment.

Talking about the song, Sunny said: “I am very excited about this song because the music is original and very catchy. Taposh Sir came to us and said he wanted to create a song and have us run production. He really likes the way Daniel does business.

“… At the end of the day, we have no idea how people will react to it but we all worked hard and absolutely no funny business.”

Nikhil is having bad time these days. His attempts to release “Mudra” when there is no competition have failed again.

He earlier planned to release the action thriller on November 8 but he was forced to postpone it as “Amar Akbar Anthony”, “Savyasachi” and “Taxiwaala” movies hit the screens in the first half of November.

Later the makers have announced that the film would release on December 28. Release date is nearing but there is hardly any promotional activity. Latest buzz is that the film has now been pushed to next year.

However, he will not have a right window for release in the month of January. There is no room for his film to release during Sankranthi with four biggies have already locked their dates. On January 25, Akhil’s “Mr.Majnu” and Kalyan Ram’s “180” are releasing.

During the first and second week of February, YSR Biopic “Yatra” and second part of “NTR Biopic” would hit the screens. So, when will Nikhil get right time for his movie?
