Kajal wrote a note as well in which she shared how social media has influenced her and how her fans engaged in interesting chats something they have common in. She added she can’t ask for a better following than her which is an emphatic and intelligent group.
Also Kajal wrote 2018 has been great for her doing some great work and nine million followers came at a right time.
A Titanic Touch To #SyeRaa?
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s #SyeRaa is being completed at jet speed right now, in a bid to release the film in August next year. And we have to say that they are coming up with new ideas every single day to make the experience better.
As the magnum opus kick starts into a new schedule where Megastar will be doing some risky stunt shots, there is an interesting news being heard. Apparently director Surender Reddy want to give a ‘Titanic’ like touch to the project if our sources are to be believed. So what is that all about?
Actually, the film, James Cameron’s Titanic, has a narrative style of revealing everything in a flashback mode by an old woman, who will be eventually revealed as the Rose of the story that lost everything in the 1912 disaster. We hear that even Sye Raa will be revealed in a similar style from the modern times.
However, Megastar will be taking a final call on this narrative, as he wants to check if that will be suiting to the film’s larger than life canvas or not.
Next target for TRS is Khammam: KTR
Stating that the people of Khammam gave Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) a raw deal in the Assembly elections that concluded recently, TRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao said that the pink party will soon conquer Khammam too.
Wyra candidate Lavudya Ramulu today joined TRS in presence of KTR and other senior leaders. Naik won over TRS sitting MLA with a majority of over 2000 votes. Asking the people of Khammam to think link those in the rest of the state, KTR said that TRS would be the party working for their development and hence, sought their support in the upcoming Panchayat as well as Lok Sabha elections.
The TRS won only one seat in Khammam Town while the rest were taken by Congress, TDP and an independent. Despite voting pattern going in favour of the pink party across the state, Khammam people chose to go with Prajakutami, surprising one and all. Even senior leaders like Tummala Nageswara Rao lost in the district.
It is clear that the TRS party is upset with their performance in Khammam district and is making every effort to ensure that even that district sways in their favour. Looks like the people of border district have upset the TRS bosses!
Change in NTR Trailer & Audio launch events
The makers of ‘NTR’ biopic have scheduled the trailer and audio launch events in Hyderabad and Nimmakuru on December 16th and 21st respectively.
Instead of the two events, the makers will be hosting just one event. On December 21st, the trailer and audio will be unveiled.
‘NTR’ is being made in two parts titled ‘NTR – Kathanayakudu’ and ‘NTR – Mahanayakudu.’
Two songs were already released and Keeravani came up with terrific tunes.
‘NTR’ is being helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi.
Owaisi’s challenge to Chandrababu: ‘Chandrudu, I’m coming’
Basking in the limelight of TRS’ victory in Telangana, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s video throwing a challenge to TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu is going viral on social media.
Speaking at a public meeting, in the video, Asaduddin said: ‘Aur Mr Chandrudu, tumarku bhool gaya tha main (I had forgotten about you). Chandrudu, I am coming to Andhra Pradesh. Taiyyar ho jao. (Get ready). Tum Malakpet aaye the na…ab dekho (You have campaigned in our Malakpet, now wait and watch).’
Going by his statements in the video, it is clear that even Asaduddin is upset with TDP Chief’s campaigning in his adda (Malakpet and) Telangana and is maintaining the same rhetoric that his friend and ally TRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao does.
With this video doing rounds on social media, it would be interesting to watch how AIMIM with reach out to Muslim community in Andhra Pradesh.
However, one cannot ignore that the traits of the Muslims in Hyderabad who support the AIMIM are much different from those living and hailing from Andhra Pradesh.
This political tussle between the TDP and all other parties is getting serious as the AP assembly elections approach! Let us hope that there will not be any communal divide among voters despite their varied choices.

US man charged with hate crime for assaulting Indian-origin woman
New York: A 54-year-old man has been charged with hate crime for assaulting an Indian-origin woman on a subway and hurling homophobic slurs at her.
Allasheed Allah from Manhattan’s East Harlem neighbourhood was arrested on Thursday and charged with assault as a hate crime and aggravated harassment against 20-year-old Avneet Kaur during the November 30 attack in New York City’s Queens borough, the police said.
Allah is also accused of hurling homophobic slurs at the woman before physically attacking her and leaving her with a fractured spine, NBC News reported on Friday. He faces up to 15 years in prison for the attack and will return to court on December 27.
During the incident, Allah allegedly approached the victim, who was standing with another woman, while they were riding a Manhattan-bound E train through Queens during evening rush hour.
Kaur said her friend gave her a kiss on the cheek while she was making a Snapchat. This, according to the police, made Allah angry and he flew into a rage at the sight.
The man then engaged Kaur in a verbal dispute. Threatening the women, Allah said: “Don’t do that gay s**t in front of me! Do that one more time and watch what happens!”
The women tried to walk away, but Allah followed them. He approached Kaur from behind and punched her in the back of her head, causing her to fall to the ground and strike her head and neck on a pole before hitting the floor, the police said.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with a fractured spine.
The police, who had publicised a photo and video of the suspect earlier this week, said a tip from the public helped them apprehend Allah, who allegedly fled the scene of the crime.
“Queens County is the most diverse county in the nation. It is home to many races, nationalities and sexual orientations. Crimes motivated by bias – particularly those involving violence – will never be tolerated in this county,” said Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown in a statement.
KTR Acts Smart On Next CM Talk
Newly-appointed working president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi K T Rama Rao on Saturday sought to play his cards close to his chest on the talk that he would be anointed as the next chief minister of Telangana, most probably after the coming parliament elections.
Speaking to media at the meet-the-press programme at Hyderabad Press Club, KTR said there was no vacancy for the post of chief minister at present.
“Trust me, I don’t have any desire to become the chief minister. In fact, I, all my party MLAs and leaders, besides people of the state are confident that KCR will rule the state for another 15 years at least. There is absolutely no thought whatsoever to become the chief minister,” he said.
However, party leaders are admitting in private that the decision to make KCR as the chief minister had already been taken and it is only a matter of time.
“KCR has dissolved the state assembly only to make the path clear for anointment of his son as the chief minister. In the next six months, KCR will gradually transfer power to KTR in the name of focusing on national politics. Once the Lok Sabha elections are announced, he would take a plunge into the contest, leaving the state to his son,” sources said.
In all probability, KCR will not accommodate KTR into the cabinet now and make him concentrate on the party.
“Soon after the parliament elections, he will make the son chief minister,” a party source said.
Two Chandras: Comparison Between KCR and CBN
After bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in 2014, two Chandras came into power in Telugu states.
The two Chandras – Nara Chandrababu Naidu, CM of Andhra Pradesh and K Chandrasekhar Rao, CM of Telangana – have many things in common between them, not just their similar sounding names.
Both of them are trained under umbrella of NTR and TDP and their thinking and political ploys are also alike
While Chandrababu Naidu has been trying to create a political front at national level with Congress in the main chair, KCR has proposed a federal front sans the presence of Congress and BJP.
Interestingly, both of them are promoting their sons as their political heir apparent.

Chandrababu Naidu made his son Lokesh as a Minister through MLC route. KCR made his son MLA first and then gave IT ministry and now sprang a surprise by announcing him as working president of TRS.
KTR is now officially No.2 in TRS and in Telangana.
In the past Farooq Abdullah and Mulayam Singh Yadav had used similar tactics to promote their sons as Chief Ministers in their respective states. KCR is singing the same tune of playing key role in national politics.

I love to look beyond what’s expected of me: Sundeep
Telugu-Tamil actor Sundeep Kishans latest release “Next Enti” may not have performed as well as expected. But he is unfazed.
“I would do the film all over again, if needed. I learnt so much working with Kunal Kohli. I grew up admiring his work. He may not be conversant in Telugu. But he was clued into every nuance of the characters played by me and Tamannaah Bhatia.”
So what went wrong?
“I don’t know if the word wrong is right here because I feel the film came out right. We somewhere missed out on marketing and promoting the film well. ‘Next Enti’ was a totally new language for Telugu audiences. It basically had my character and Tamannaah speaking on love life and sex.
“The audience needed to be drawn into the film. That never happened. Telugu cinema is growing by leaps and bounds. Not only ‘Baahubali’, we have had ‘Arjun Reddy’, ‘The Ghazi Attack’ and ‘Goodachari’…all game-changers. So, it’s not as though the audience in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is not ready for change. We just didn’t give them reason to appreciate our attempt at a new cinematic language.”
Sundeep has already moved ahead.
“I’ve now turned producer with a Telugu film ‘Neenu Veedani Nenu Nene’. My leading lady in the film is Anya singh that very talented girl from ‘Qaidi Band’. The film is again, a game-changer. It is partly a supernatural thriller, but it is so much more, it’s hard to define. I am also shooting a courtroom comedy ‘Tenali Ramkrishna BABL’ with Hansika Motwane.”
Though Sundeep has done films in Tamil and Hindi, he regards Telugu as his home ground. “I was born and brought up in Andhra. Telugu is my mother tongue. But I also speak Tamil fluently. At the beginning of my career as an actor, I did a Tamil, a Telugu and a Hindi film. I think language is no longer a barrier to appreciating good cinema.”
Early in his career, Sundeep had done a Hindi film “Shor In The City”, directed by Raj and DK. The directorial duo is now designing a fresh Hindi launch for Sundeep.
“Raj and DK are like family. I thought their ‘Stree’ had such an interesting role for Rajkummar Rao. Not like a conventional hero, but a relatable character. That’s the kind of role I’d like to play. Raj and DK are planning something completely out of the box for me in Hindi.”
Meanwhile, Sundeep is pleased that most of his Tamil and Telugu films are dubbed in Hindi.
“I was shooting in Kashmir and I was very surprised when the locals recognised me as the guy in ‘Prasthanam’, my first release which is now being remade into Hindi or the guy in ‘Maanagaram’. They had seen most of my Telugu and Tamil films dubbed in Hindi.”
Sundeep is also surprised by his swelling fan following.
“I never thought of myself as particularly eligible when I was in college. But now even when guys come for selfies they say it’s for their sister or girlfriend. I am happy with the female attention. But for now, I am very single.”
Sundeep also owns a restaurant in Hyderabad — Vivah Bojnambu which offers what he calls the best food in Hyderabad.
“I expect nothing, but the best from myself. I love to look beyond the expected,” he signed off.
Stylish star to grace Sharwa’s ‘PPLM’
Stylish Star Allu Arjun will be gracing the pre-release event of Sharwanand’s ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ as chief guest.
This event will be held on December 17th at Shilpa Kala Vedika. ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ is a romantic entertainer being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
Having Sai Pallavi as the female lead, the trailer unveiled recently has impressed one and all. The audio got a good response, all thanks to the music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
Actor Sunil and Murali Sharma are playing important roles in this film which is extensively shot in Kolkata.
Jay Kay handled the cinematography and ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri.
The release is on December 21st.
2.0 Crosses 50 Cr, Still No Profits
Rajinikanth and Shankar’s “2 Point 0” aka “2.0” has collected whopping Rs 50 Cr share in AP and Nizam. Rs 50 Cr collection in Telugu states is a huge amount.
If a movie collects such massive amount in AP and Telangana, then it can be declared as blockbuster. However, in the case of ‘2.0’, the picture is altogether different.
‘2.0’ has to recover money mainly from the theaters in two states unlike other Telugu movies which collect revenue in other states in India as well as overseas.
But ‘2.0’ was released in massive number of screens in other states in Hindi and Tamil languages and the overseas rights were also sold to other distributors.
‘2.0’ was bought by NVR Prasad, Dil Raju and UV Vamshi together for Rs 72 Cr and they have got rights for AP and Telangana market. So, the movie has to recover more than Rs 22 Cr to reach into profit stage.
All in all, despite recovering Rs 50 Cr share, the film is going to be declared as loss venture.
